POPSDisturbing Dance This is wrong on so many levels. Taking the grand biblical concept of the renewing of your mind (Romans 12) and reducing it to an 80's dance tune...and such BAD dancing at that.

POPSObama/Jesus - Palin/Pilate This meme is all over Democrat talking points lately. Isn't this the party that spews spittle whenever religion is even mentioned? And now their candidate who has been figuatively compared to the Messiah is literally compared with Him? Of course, this will backfire on them as their attempted use of religion always does. People who are actually religious seem to have somehow missed that passage in the Book of Community how Jesus went around registering people to vote and organizing protest marches against the Romans and shaking down corporations for money. And truly religious Christians would immediately denounce and distance themselves from anyone so arrogant as to even imply that they personally were like Christ.

POPSJerusalem dig uncovers ancient walls Jerusalem is an old city. For most of it to be uncovered they need to wait until the right scanners are developed, to scan it virtually. We only need to know what is there, so we can keep putting our past in a better context. We won't have to unearth it to know.

POPSAbout eggs "Eggs have been known to, and enjoyed by, humans for many centuries. Jungle fowl were domesticated in India by 3200 B.C.E. Record from China and Egypt show that fowl were domesticated and laying eggs for human consumption around 1400 B.C.E., and there is archaeoligical evidence for egg consumption dating back to the Neolithic age. The Romans found egg-laying hens in England, Gaul, and among the Germans. The first domesticated fowl reached North America with the second voyage of Columbus in 1493." ---Encyclopedia of Food and Culture, Solomon H. Katz, editor, William Woys Weaver, associate editor 2003, Volume 1 (p. 558)

POPSCreationist Shows His Stuff Here's a pretty typical tirade by a fundamentalist Creationist that pretty much touches on all the points that Creationists get wrong all the time. About the only point he makes is that he's pretty ignorant about science and adheres to the talking points of the conservative right. My question is how many of these proselytizers will have to be proven wrong before they're eventually shamed into admitting that they've been lied to. The sad part is that many certainly have children who are also subjected to these ignorant views thus the ignorance is allowed to be passed along generational lines.

POPSMysterynet.com: Mystery Time Line I was doing a search on a topic that had the keyword book in it and mysterynet.com came up... I decided to take a look and this is a great site for online mysteries and I have a tendency to look at classic fiction and especially timelines of fictional occurrences.
