POPSBlue State Governors Cry Foul Over Health Care Bill “When asked for my support, I was assured that federal legislation would not increase costs to California or include new unfunded mandates,” Schwarzenegger wrote. “Unfortunately, under nearly every scenario we can predict, the federal health care reform legislation being debated would cost California’s General Fund an additional $3 billion to $4 billion annually.” ….. Arnold’s already looking for a bailout from Uncle Sam. They loved Porkulus, but it’s not going to help them now. The sad thing is, it’s doubtful either one of them has anything against government takeover of health care. They just don’t want it passed onto their state budgets. POPSRubio to speak at CPAC Several months ago I read that the *official* choice of the GOP was Crist and then I heard Rubio speak. Then I got angry. The establishment GOP had chosen another RINO as their candidate of choice. It was basically eliminating the voters' options with their endorsement. It's still an uphill climb but the wave is building. Rubio is a true conservative and I won't have to hold my nose to cast my vote for him.

POPSClub for Growth Endorses Rubio Moving on to the next ousting of a RINO. The GOP came out of the gate supporting Crist, but the man is just a Democrat with an R behind his name. Rubio will have my vote. On a recent survey sent out by the Republican Party I wrote "Rubio" all over it. They asked all the right questions and then give us crummy candidates.

POPSFEMA Grant to ACORN is Offensive Yes, it is! Our capital city is trying to cut back on police officers and to merge fire-fighters and the EMS to save money (which in itself is ridiculous), but I'd be willing to guess that our local ACORN organization got some of this money. Especially since our RINO Governor took all the Stimulus money and we've seen no apparent changes.

POPSOn RINO Mating and Pre&Post Soviet Marxism You can watch Red Nightmare if you care to here: Part 1, 2, 3, 4 , and 5 You'd also like: What is Communism Part 1 What Is Communism Part 2 When you watch "What is Communism", notice how the presenter describes the propagandistic use of organization names and goals. They're still doing the same thing today. Whenever you see the term "social justice" you can be sure there's a Marxist behind it. When you take a look at the names of Marxist organizations they always have some altruistic sounding name to cover the fact that they're trying to ENSLAVE YOU. dummy

POPSIndependents Dominate "Two Party" System, GOP Sinks Gallup proves that non-partisans lead slightly who are not loyal to the political party machinery. GOP is sinking, people disenfranchised after George W. Bush and 2008 election process. Republicans should blame Neoconservatism (Bush-Cheney and Co., including RINO primary candidates) for their fall. To put it another way the republican party has put itself in "exile", which nobody trusts.

POPSLimabaugh To Specter:Take McCain & His Daughter With You "This is a sad day for the GOP," Michael Smerconish, a longtime conservative radio host in Philadelphia, told the Huffington Post. "He is what the party needed to be. They need to cultivate more Specters instead of deriding him as a RINO .... The fact that Michael Steele is deriding him for his left wing record is just the same type of bullshit of playing to the base." Pointing to a Washington Post poll that showed only 21 percent of voters identify themselves as Republicans, Smerconish concluded: "I think the number is down to 20 percent." Meanwhile Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine, one of the few remaining moderate Republicans in the Senate, told the Huffington Post Tuesday that Specter's abandonment of the GOP is "devastating," both "personally and I think for the party."

POPSTea Party Blow-back: Republicans Lack Credibility and Trustworthiness This post from the conservative Cato Institute blog seals the point with a video of a republican Congressman getting booed at a Tea Party. They have a good pod cast on the subject, Reading the GOP's Tea Leaves (here) which shows that Neoconservatism must be rejected and is a cause of both Big Government and expansionist unjust wars. Republicans (and particularly the RINO establishment) are presently a part of the problem, not the solution. Neoconservatives (like Bush and the recent primary GOP candidates, all CFR members) are RINOs and not conservatives, constitutionalists, or for limited government as people like Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul have exposed.

POPS All Hail The Empty Chair! I couldn't care one bit if Coleman gets the U.S. Senate stolen from him. Good riddance to this RINO. I know many Minnesota bloggers who identify as Republicans will disagree with me on this; they like Norm Coleman. Look, I like him too, I think he's a nice guy and that he's sincere - but he's a RINO. Meanwhile, I'm sticking to my unwavering support for the open and unfilled Senate Chair. I think the Chair is doing a tremendous job . It can remain in office until the 2014 Senate race as far as I'm concerned.

POPSCPAC Straw Poll Vindicates Ron Paul, Huckabee Distanced
Ron Paul in virtual tie for 2nd, with Palin, well above Huckabee. Conservatives, unlike the republican establishment, like Ron Paul's principles on economics, preserving Constitutional law and liberty, and apparently even foreign policy (surprise, surprise) over others . This shows that conservatives then are divided, and not ready to throw all their weight behind one lead candidate (i.e. Romney, a CFR member and RINO who has no real conservative or Constitutional record). It must be acknowledged that Ron Paul's principles are vindicated as attractive among conservatives, and been missing from the Republican party. While Romney won the poll this still means Republicans are out of touch with conservatives listening now to Paul outside the heat of political campaigns. The fact that he fairs so much better here than during the primaries (although he trampled Giuliani then) says that conservatives are awakening and listening to his message, finally.

POPSRon Paul Stands Against Deceitful U.S. Resolution for Israel He decries the real purpose of the bill and he condemns "collective punishment" and one-sided U.S. support for Israel "which has nothing to do with the United States or U.S. interests". Right on the mark! Context: AIPAC forced Congress into "approving" of Israel's actions, and most of the cowards did. "At the very least, the U.S. Congress should not be loudly proclaiming its support for the Israeli government's actions in Gaza Collective Punishment, such as Israel always employs, as a motive and means of warfare is contrary to the limited Christian principles of a Just War, and therefore is "immoral". Paul maintained this same (lost) principle during the primary debates regarding the entire "war on terrorism" and Iraq War, against the other RINO candidates as well. George Washington warned of "entangling alliances", and Israel is a modern one.

POPSThe Secrets Of Talk Radio Former News Director of one of America's largest and most successful news/talk stations spills the beans of how they spin their conservative success. Much more worthwhile reading at the clipped source.

POPSRon Paul Urges Third-Party Vote, Refuses to Endorse McCain Now this is a "maverick" and a "reformer", refusing to endorse the Rino McCain of his same party despite that he has an (R) after his name. If anyone wants to stop the entire phony "war on terrorism", retrieve our liberties and restore Constitutional government, and rein in big government spending (including for unjust wars)--which causes inflation thru dollar devaluation-- the only choice is to vote third party. If everyone voted their conscience, refusing to be bullied into supporting the major two parties, change could then happen. The media drives everyone to support either R or D, so nothing ever changes. Obama openly stated he is for the "war on terrorism", in Afghanistan, and even to attack within Pakistan, like Bush and McCain. Pray tell, what is the difference and "change" then!

POPSRon Paul Refuses to Endorse McCain, Exposes Democrats' Hypocrisy Ron Paul is still contending upon principle and has not dropped out, and instead has released a best-selling book called "Revolution" to restore government to the Constitution. He essentially says that McCain is a RINO--republican in name only--and refuses to endorse him. Yet Rudy, Romney, Fred (also RINOs) and the Party all endorse him. Paul points out that there is really little choice to restore Constitutional government, fiscal conservative spending, civil liberties, or non-interventionist foreign policy among the soon current nominee leaders. He points out the hypocrisy of Hillary and Obama on the war, while saying that McCain is at least honest about his policy, bad as that policy is.

POPSRINO Republican in name only. "Very greedy people," if that isn't a liberal line, I don't know what is. While I hate the thought of either Obama or Hillary in the White House. This clown, McCain, scares me also.

POPS A Vote For The Huckster Is A Vote For MexiCain
Huckabee’s obstinate obsession with staying in a race for a nomination that he cannot win could hand the nomination to someone that would damage our party beyond repair. Huckabee willing to hand the nomination to an individual who has made a career out of thumbing his nose at the Republican Party. As an economic Conservative I feel more comfortable voting for someone who believes that the Bush tax cuts should be made permanent. MexiCain opposed the Bush tax cuts but now says they ought to be made permanent. Makes you wonder how genuine that desire is. Mike Huckabee says now he’s on board with The Fair Tax, but his record shows a tendency to raise taxes. Especially in the quest to institute a nanny state. Huckster would use the tax system to enforce nanny state policies against smokers, drinkers, and transfats. Do you want the President and the federal government tell you that you can’t eat that burger, smoke that cigarette, or have that drink? I don’t and I’m not even a smoker

POPS Democrats Favorite Republican McCain thinks the MSM like him! He'll soon get a rude awakening. He's been poking members of the republican party in the eye at every opportunity. He's more of a bitter, petty turn-coat than a 'maverick'. Most of his endorsements are coming from liberal media outlets and other Rino's.

POPSWho Hijacked The Primaries And What We MUST Do! This is our party, not John McCain’s or Mel Martinez's, or Lindsay Graham’s. The Republican Party is THE conservative party dammit. Let’s admit it and take it back. RINOS and Liberals have taken the GOP plane hostage, and its time for us passengers to revolt…and do what has to be done -- "Let’s Roll" Sadly these 4 states have done more than set the tone for the other 46 -- they’ve dictated terms. Frankly I could extend the analogy to include Nevada, which is down to about 13% native -- but why beat a dead horse. What we have is the sick and twisted dreams of Pinch Sulzberger, Don Imus, Maureen Dowd, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews come true: the GOP has been forced to choose a nominee designed to cause the base to retch, and thereby not vote. Guaranteeing 4 years of Clinton score settling or Obama socializing entire corporate sectors

POPSMcCain is finished Well, he's a RINO. All of these behaviors are not reflective of conservative constituents. I don't know who would vote for him after what he did to the families of the POW/MIAs while he and John Kerry were on the Senate Select Committee for POW/MIA affairs. Good riddance, I'm not crying over this.
