POPSCarrie Prejean Goes Down. Literally! Of course, all of this should have little effect on her career. If anything it will add fuel to it with the way Americans are infatuated with hypocrites and fallen angels. Vivid Entertainment Group, which specializes in adult films, made an offer of a million dollars to Prejean back in May to make a movie for them. Seems she might be a natural. This could only raise her value in the porn market. Practice makes perfect. I'm curious as to how all the rightwing Prejean backers will spin this and find a way to blame this on everyone but Prejean. I might even turn on Fox News to check it out. With Prejean's looks and attitude, she may end up with her own show over there since credibility isn't a factor in Fox's hiring practices. And for those of you who don’t remember who actually won the Miss California Pageant, her name is Tami Ferrell from Malibu. How soon we forget those with actual morals.

POPSObama And The “Coarsening Of Dialogue” ObamaCare supporters aren’t exactly known for their civility, either: After they had already astroturfed and busted heads at several town hall events, Obama’s Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told SEIU supporters to “keep doing what you’re doing.” A Moveon.org thug bit off the pinkie finger of a an elderly anti-ObamaCare protester at a rally. POPSCharles Darwin film ‘too controversial for religious America’ Afraid of controversy? This country has been mired in controvery for ages. Movieguide.org is the source of the controversy in this instance. Describing Darwin as "a racist, a bigot and an1800s naturalist whose legacy is mass murder" only proves their own bigotry and intolerance for any belief not their own. To say Darwin’s theory is ‘half-baked’ when supported by insurmountable scientifically backed evidence while only ‘faith’ backs up their belief is pure religious zealotry. To condemn Darwin’s theory as ‘half-baked’ while zealously clinging to faith without scientific proof is amazingly short-sighted. I am not condemning believers, I am a believer myself, but to ridicule another person’s belief because it is different is hateful, extremely narrow-minded and very un-Christian.

POPS The Cult of Iconography People obsessed with their own image expect some opposition. But there is one thing the true narcissist cannot tolerate… LOL ! This ( LOL ! ) is the killer ap. I wouldn’t worry about the Joker poster so much, Mr. President. But if this ( LOL ! ) catches on, and your policies are reduced to three-letter ridicule ( LOL ! )… well, sir, then you are in real trouble.

POPSNormalizing transgenderism in schools "Well, it's a huge problem," he explains. "Number one...it legitimizes the concept of transgenderism among middle-school kids, which is completely absurd and offensive and medically dangerous. The medical community recognizes gender-identity disorder as something that needs psychological help, you know -- not this politically correct pandering that actually causes more self-destruction."

POPSDemocrat, Pat Caddell, from Carter Administration is waking up Dems I am praying today and thanking the Lord for opening the eyes of those who are decent, America loving, Dems. The numbers are growing. I have witnessed several in my personal life come full circle on Obama. The truth WILL prevail. All the prog-fascists have is blind assertion, bullying and ridicule. That's it!

POPSBREITBART: George W. Bush-by-proxy syndrome "Rule 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)" Alinsky rule #12, democrat rule #1

POPSObama's enemy list getting longer! Reportedly, 'Honest Abe' Obama put on his best 'who me' face and downplayed the backlash when it was released to the press, but afterwards cameras caught him opening his little black book and checking off what appeared to be reporter's names. The White House press secretary said that observation wasn't true, but that the President was merely updating his Christmas list.

POPSThe Media Take Aim At ‘The Mob’
pro-government health care policies rallied at a town hall of their congresswoman, Democratic Rep. Kathy Castor. The constituents at events like Castor's are the same ones who organized anti-spending and anti-tax tea parties in the spring. The mainstream media at first ignored those grassroots displays of taxpayer outrage and turned to ridicule when the pesky protesters refused to be ignored. Both weapons exploded in their faces, so the St. Petersburg Times embraced the sniper rifle of subtlety in its coverage of Castor's town hall. Jon Henke of The Next Right heard the first shot -- the newspaper changed its story, literally -- and exposed the sniper. The Times (whose parent company once employed me at Congressional Quarterly) initially, and correctly, thought it fair to note that the Service Employees International Union organized a counter protest at Castor's event. The paper also included this explosive quote from an SEIU official hinting at plans to instigate trouble

POPSRules for Tea Partiers (with thanks to Mr. Saul Alinsky) RULE 3: Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Since the enemy lacks expertise in almost everything that does not have to do with enriching Government Sachs and JP Morgan Chase, we’re doing well here too. Let me see, they lack expertise in, inter alia, honesty, integrity, patriotism, courage, and the democratic process. They also have no expertise in reading their own legislation, although they have mucho expertise at reading a teleprompter (Maybe if they put the healthcare bill up on TOTUS it would get read…?) RULE 4: Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. Where’s the hope, dude? Where’s the transparency? Where’s the the end to lobbyist connections? Where’s the post-racial? Where’s the bipartisanship? Where’s the “unity”? Where’s the “making everything great for ‘working class’ families”? RULE 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. Those “mom jeans” comments hurt.

POPSFrederick Douglas Quotes I prayed for twenty years but received no answer until I prayed with my legs. I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence. If there is no struggle, there is no progress. It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. No man can put a chain about the ankle of his fellow man without at last finding the other end fastened about his own neck. One and God make a majority. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppose. Frederick Douglass The soul that is within me no man can degrade. Frederick Douglass The thing worse than rebellion is the thing that causes rebellion. Frederick Douglass The white man's happiness cannot be purchased by the black man's misery. Frederick Douglass Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. Frederick Do

POPSSay Something "The more courageous among us say “Let's try something different. Let's organize ourselves based upon those things which we hold in common reverence. The first of these is our nation's basic ideals, laws and traditions. We may not fully agree what these comprise, or even their meanings. Nonetheless, we can agree in principle on some of them as a more or less consistent framework for the political, economic and social interactions of individuals and groups within our society.”

POPSCarvings From Cherokee Script’s Dawn more (at source): It may be, as is often noted, that his achievement is the only known instance of an individual’s single-handedly creating an entirely new system of writing. An archaeologist and explorer of caves has now found what he thinks are the earliest known examples of the Sequoyah syllabary. The characters are cut into the wall of a cave in southeastern Kentucky, a place sacred to the Cherokee as the traditional burial site of a revered chief. The archaeologist, Kenneth B. Tankersley of the University of Cincinnati, said in an interview recently that this was “one of the most fascinating and important finds in my career,” yielding likely insights into “the genius of Sequoyah.”

POPSConfessions of a Lapsed Atheist "And enlightened as they are, they've come up with quite the pretense for justifying the righteousness of their bigotry: they are defending the vision of our Founding Fathers from a dominionist conspiracy to establish Christianity as the state religion." "You see, for liberal Atheists, the only thing worse than religion is the Religious Right, a term they use to encompass all Christian conservatives. And what better way to siphon fuel from the Religious Right than to convince Americans that the government is perpetually on the verge of becoming a theocracy? " "But above all, Atheists stoke fear among religious and nonreligious alike that conservatives view government as a tool to force religion down your throat."
