I stay away from Fox news, (if my remote button lands on it even for a second, I quickly push next to get the hell out of there, FAST). I don't view the backwardness of Fox viewers as scary (unless, they start donning white sheets and pointed hoods). But I do get angry that there is a media outlet that fuels ignorance and makes money doing so, to boot. The FoxTV/Right-wing talk charlatans use their follower’s shallowness to control this audience and what a sad lot they are. POPSAmerican Right-Wing a Bit Confused? This story was picked out of the International edition of the Jerusalem Post. It was spray panted and not burned - as per usual with folks in Georgia who used to use burning crosses. I guess they are not really that confused - the KKK always did have more in common with nazi's than anyone else. The most recent trend among righties is to use nazi language to attack those they think are marxists and reverse racists. I take it back - they are still confusing. One easy thing to understand is that they are hateful and driven by fear and hate of what they see in the mirror in the morning.

POPSThanks for ruining this day for me, Barack Many Hispanics have achieved greatness by simply being great in their fields. Race had nothing to do with their greatness. In the case of nominating Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, race and gender have almost everything to do with her appointment. I have no ill will towards Ms. Sotomayor, I just think it would have been in the country’s interest to appoint someone more deserving.

As the policy status quo shifted, the precise nature of the conservative position changed with it so that now affirmative action is worse than discrimination against minorities and “political correctness” is worse than racism, but the basic spirit is the same.

Author's propaganda tries to turn tables on realities. Despicable barely describes this hateful diatribe. Not in criticizing Reps.,McCain,etc. That's part of the game. I refer to his conclusions. Hopefully we can see through this kind of distortion no matter where we stand politically. If he felt confident in Obama's record he wouldn't need to even go where he does here. It seems that the concept, the equation, coming clear in this time, as we hopefully progress past true racism and the hurt it does to good people, is that, as blatant, actual racism lessens and becomes ever less an immediately impacting harm , less of a component of thought and feeling in our society, there seems to be, hopefully only temporarily, a corresponding yet negatively driven counter-trend of some sort. which insists that, there be a reverse racism taken for granted in order to prove the non-existence of the old, shameful racism..
