It said the deaths of civilians should be investigated under the rules of international humanitarian law. The UN should take action "to seek accountability and pursue claims to secure reparation or reimbursement" for UN expenses and payments over deaths or injury to UN staff and damage to UN property where the responsibility lay with Israel, Hamas or any other party, the report added. In total, more than $11m worth of damage was caused to UN premises. The inquiry looked in detail at nine incidents, in which several Palestinians died. The very people who are demanding reparations know it is not going to happen. Why then are they demanding something that they know they are not going to get? Because the demagogues themselves will benefit, even if nobody else does. Stirring up historic grievances pays off in publicity and votes. Some are saying that Congress should at least issue an official apology for slavery. But slavery is not something you apologize for, any more than you apologize for murder. You apologize for accidentally stepping on someone's toes or for playing your TV too loud at night. But, if you have ever enslaved anybody, an apology is not going to cut it. And if you never enslaved anybody, then what are you apologizing for?

This included direct attacks by Israeli forces on Palestinian civilians and civilian objects in Gaza, attacks which breached the prohibition on disproportionate attacks and the use of weapons, such as white phosphorus, which have indiscriminate effects when used in densely-populated civilian areas. A story like this, puzzles me as to why it's legal to spread hate over our airwaves. The rightwing shock jocks, have been doing this for years without remorse or fear of reparation. We all enjoy freedom of speech and would never want to do anything to jeopardize this right, a corner stone of democracy. But when it's used to spread xenophobia, doesn't that strike you as being criminal? It's illegal to shout FIRE in a crowded room, shouldn’t it also be against the law to shout THIS GROUP, RACE, or ETHNICITY IS EVIL. Yet that is exactly what the Limbaughs, Lou Dobbs' and other hate spreaders do when they use media tools to distribute their loathsome rhetoric. It happened in Tenn. when a crazed man went looking for Liberals to KILL because a radio jock said liberals were ruining America. When will the time come, to say enough hate, it's time for healing? As long as rumor brutes can sputter their revulsion behind the safety of a microphone, it will never end and some innocent will suffer.

POPSThe Audacity Hustle Exposed It's all part of the Audacity Hustle. Obama is running the most audacious campaign in American history. But the Hustle only works for the real suckers. His German Tiergarten speech with "Citizens of the world!" -- a direct echo of "Workers of the world!" from the Communist Manifesto of 1848. "We are the change we've been waiting for!" It's repeated in The Obama Hustle over and over again. But it's just Fidel Castro's slogan, "La Revolucion Somos Nosotros!" --- "We are the Revolution!" Most Americans don't know that Obama's Soviet Realism pics are just imitation Lenin posters. The same thing for The Decembrist rock band to echo the Russian Decemberist rebellion. That's why the Decembrist rockers play the Soviet National Anthem to start their concerts. Get it? The whole idea that Obama is a devout Christian is another fraud; he's a militant atheist, just like Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright.
