POPSU.S. Had Covert Ties to Paki-based Terrorist in Iran Bombing The terrorist behind the Iran bombing recently was a former covert operative per Robert Baer, former CIA agent of Syriana fame. This is not unlike the former ties with Al Qaeda and bin Laden as covert operatives and "CIA brainchilds". Of course, this was done for provocatory purposes to spark Iran-British-U.S. conflict....and it appears to be working for this design. See Telegraph UK article: Iran vows revenge after claiming bomb attack was carried out by Britain A bomb attack on Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard that killed over 40 people including top generals was carried out by terrorists trained by America and Britain in nearby Pakistan , a senior commander said on Monday. See, "state-sponsored terrorism" can be alleged both ways.

POPSObama's Afghanistan: This Surge Will Not Be Televised and building a Burger King and Pizza Hut on a huge, growing base proves it will not be a short term surge. The economic focus and domestic health care agenda ensures this all goes unnoticed too even though IT IS COSTING AMERICANS BILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND BLOOD. This is not a war of self-defense, but continued regime-change for a new middle east, entirely consistent with the neoconservative agenda of the Bush administration. THIS IS OBAMA'S IRAQ AND VIET NAM.

POPS Iran's Hidden Revolution Far from fretting about an impending attack from Israel or America, guard leaders have been warning the ayatollah that the most formidable threat to the Islamic Republic is a “soft regime change policy” involving the use of “orange revolutions” (as the hard-line Iranian newspaper Kayhan recently editorialized) Encircled by American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, besieged from within by disgruntled citizens, the supreme leader has turned to a bellicose strongman to preserve the system that elevated him. Indeed, Ayatollah Khamenei " who was scorned as a religious lightweight by many more established mullahs when he was chosen for the top post in 1989 " has repeatedly shown himself willing to undercut the “Islamic” in Islamic revolution. In doing so, he has painted himself into a corner " a permanent alliance with Mr. Ahmadinejad and the Revolutionary Guards. And this fraudulent election will only push them closer together.

POPSWhat Just Happened? 06.17.2009 “In the most dramatic turnabout since the 1979 revolution,” they wrote, “Iran has evolved from theocratic state to military dictatorship.” If this analysis is correct – and right now, it looks like it is – the White House may need to start over from scratch. Iran is the same country it was a week ago, but it no longer has quite the same government. Some will argue that Mr. Ahmadinejad may be in a conciliatory mood because he needs talks with the United States to underscore his own legitimacy, but that can only be read as a self-serving Washington perspective. Meanwhile, the Iranian people will have suffered the consolidation of power by a ruthless regime and the transformation of a theocracy to an ideological military dictatorship. That Iran neither needs nor wants accommodation with the West.

POPSPaki Official: No Credible Intel of Al Qaeda in Pakistan This is a propaganda buster! So why was Bush and now Obama really bombing Pakistan with drones and claiming to kill "Al Qaeda leaders"? (Answer: Regime change. Why do you think the U.S. has given Pakistan billions annually?). Neither administration has reported this! The drone attacks, now under Obama, will be contested on that basis. This big lie needs to be contested, along with the Big Lie that Islamists in the mountains of Afghanistan are a "threat to the U.S.". Baloney.

POPS"Another 9/11" Being Used to Drive/Justify Obama Policy Propaganda tactics, like "WMD claims" about Iraq, are being used to drive or justify (already preset) military agenda for a Pakistan war front. This is precisely like the same "fixing the intelligence around the policy" used for Iraq --alarmist, "apocalyptic intelligence", to justify what Obama "must do" as a CFR puppet for continuing a "war on terrorism" for global democracy. 9/11 continues to be the justification for "changing everything" and continue wars for "regime change" and more "preventive wars". Are small groups in Pakistan really a threat to Western Civilization? No one could rationally believe this paranoid propaganda. America was less afraid of the Soviet Union than this, and not one shot was fired to stop the Cold War. This is also why another "bin Laden tape" was released this last week. The American people are being prepared for more wars.

POPSObama's Afghan/Paki Surge, Civilians Will Suffer Most But the politically-correct premise of the entire war there is left unchallenged by the Democrats, and of course Republicans, except for a few lone voices. The heaviest consequences will fall on the civilian population , who will be increasingly opposed in turn against the US-led foreign invading forces increasing resistance who are the real "insurgents" involved in a domestic dispute that is of a very long history. Apparently the 1 million deaths of Iraqi civilians is not enough blood for the bipartisan war-mongers who have bought the neoconservative line of wars for "regime change" , nor the hidden death count of Afghans and Pakis thus far (with women and children). Do Americans really believe that the Taliban is a real or imminent threat to the U.S.? (And no, they publicly admitted on BBC, as well as Bin Laden in Karachi newspaper, that they had no knowledge or involvement in Sept. 11th).

POPSRepublicanism vs. Democracy--An Important Distinction
Do not confuse this with the political parties. Ironic that the recent "republican" President talked of "democracy" so much when referring to the form of government of the U.S. and the type it preferred installing through force in "regime change". Direct democracy is the most dangerous to civil liberties , recently greatly trampled through legislation over 8 years, and is NOT the form of government the Constitution formulated. This is why people should not look to party labels, but to policies, legislation, and actions when evaluating Presidents and Congressmen, when the swear to "defend and uphold the Constitution" (not "the nation", but its official "rule of law"), which they usually violate almost immediately. The Constitution formed a "democratic federal republic", a republican form of government, not a democracy! This was first greatly overthrown during the Civil War by the majority in the Northern states when democratic despotism first raised it head.

POPSNetanyahu, The Real Threat to Peace in the Middle East Hey Israel, do not elect this Likud party war-monger who has direct ties to the neoconservatives of the Bush administration! No more neocons or Likudniks who only foment wars without just cause. His point about "trumping economics" is also ridiculous and proves his lack of sanity. WAR HAS INCREASED US NATIONAL DEBT UNDER BUSH, DEVALUED THE DOLLAR, RAISED OIL PRICES...EVERYTHING THAT HURT THE ECONOMY. So Bibi (his nick), don't try and sell us more wars for "regime change". Neither has Iran ever attacked another country, while Israel (who has WMDs) has. In fact Israel has attacked three countries within the last 24 months--Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. Netanyahu is also close friends of Larry Silverstein, lease owner of the WTC complex that was demolitioned on 9/11 which ignited the pre-planned wars for a "new middle east" laid out in the Project for New American Century's Sept. 2000 blueprint. Note the elections follow Gaza.

POPSObama Defends CIA Pick to Dems, Neocons Praise And just why are the neocons like Feith (who ran the rogue Office of Special Plans) and Richard Perle praising him as bringing a good pick to "reform" the CIA? Well they crafted the "intelligence" for the Iraq war with lies and circumvented the CIA (and Tenet got a Medal of Freedom Award from Bush for not challenging their unsubstantiated lies about WMD). They want the CIA to do this for them instead to justify their war agenda for "regime change" in the middle east primarily. Just who is praising Obama for this pick is more strong evidence (along with his silent support for Israel's war on Gaza, surge in Afghanistan, etc) that he will continue the neoconservative agenda, only in a "kinder and gentler" manner, in their plan for "global hegemony" for world democracy through "regime change". Not much change here. Panetta has no hard Intel experience.

POPSWho Are the Real Terrorists, Israel or Hamas? Just who fits the U.S. definition here? Who is trying to instigate "regime change" through "coercion" and "intimidation" through violence "against a civilian population"--including "property and infrastructure"--to overthrow a government to achieve "political change"? Even Israeli news has reported the objective is "assassinations" of Hamas political leaders, and they are bombing government buildings: Jerusalem Post, Israel - Dec 24, 2008 The ruling by Israel's highest court in the case of Salah Shehadeh comes as the government might renew its targeted attacks against top Hamas leaders in ... High Court Says No to Assassination Inquiry Arutz Sheva Israeli Minister Mofaz Wants to Cut Off Heads of Hamas Leaders Arabisto.com, FL - Dec 18, 2008 ... advocated Israel's cutting off of the heads of Hamas' leaders in the Gaza Strip. This would be a supposed "return" to the "targeted assassinations" ...

POPSConservatives and Neocons Praise Obama's Foreign Policy Team Obama's team is filled with a continuity, not a change, cast of players. Did Obama mislead democrats on foreign policy, or did they just not listen to what he said, particularly in his debate with McCain (where they sounded alike on war) and his trip to the Middle East? Republicans are more happy than Democrats. The global wars for regime change will continue.

POPSAfghanistan: Bush/Obama "Surge", Karzai Wants U.S. Out! Karzai joins Iraq in demanding timeline for removal of U.S. occupation while Bush and (changeless) Obama press for a "surge" of troops. Karzai complains that the U.S. is killing too many civilians and not defeating the Taliban ( who had nothing to do with 9/11 ). Barack Obama plans 20,000 troop surge to boost Afghan effort Barack Obama is preparing to send at least 20,000 more US soldiers into Afghanistan in a "surge" similar to the deployment that contributed to security improvements in Iraq. Obama has legitimized the war in Afghanistan when Afghanistan certainly was not an imminent threat any more than Iraq, and therefore is an unjust war as well. It is all about "regime change" preconceived by the neocons prior to 2001.

POPSObama Wants Lieberman in Dem Caucus for Foreign Policy
Lieberman is a Dem neocon and endorsed McCain. Why not just include McCain in the Dem Caucus then! This will continue the neocon and Zionist (Israel first) foreign policy of unjust wars for "regime change", a Democratic Jihad (holy war) if you will, under pretense of "war on terrorism" which Obama fully endorses. Obama wants a pro-war Democratic leadership to support his pro-war policy as he revealed in debates with McCain and on his middle east visit. Thus keeping Lieberman is key because the caucus controls the party in its "group think". His support of Lieberman with his pick of "Rahmbo" Emanuel (a very presumptuous name, meaning "God with us" in Hebrew , referring to Christ by the prophets) for Chief of Staff, foretells Obama's true foreign policy that will "change" little from McCain outside of Iraq. Lieberman changed to Independent after losing a Dem primary election, then won as independent. Anti-war Dems are being blocked out.

POPSBritish Commander: Taleban Cannot be Defeated He says the American strategy is doomed to fail. The Taleban (which denied any knowledge, role or involvement of themselves or bin Laden in 9/11) are tough, despite the image portrayed in media: the Taleban, tactically, is reasonably resilient, certainly quite dangerous and seems relatively impervious to losses. Its potency is as a force for influence.” The war in Afghanistan is not about "terrorism". (Repetition and mere allegation do not equal truth). It's about "regime change" and oil pipeline from the Caspian region (to Pakistan and the sea).

POPSIsrael Wants to Attack Iran, US Military Aid Denied Israel is impotent without the U.S.. They have always used America in their own war agendas. Note the strategic importance in the big picture of Iraqi air space which this Israeli news article mentions! This is just one reason why Israel and the neocon agenda demanded regime change in Iraq, which clears the way for further wars of aggression in the region by Israel, under a pretense of a "war on terrorism" (which both Obama and McCain will continue). Note too that while the US has been somewhat restraining Israel, this is mentioned too: Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, in private discussions, even raised the possibility that the U.S. was considering an attack in the transition period between the election in November and the inauguration of the new president in January 2009.

POPSPalin Pledges Allegiance to AIPAC--Stamped "Approved"
From "Alaska First", and by-passing "America First", Palin goes straight to "Israel First". By consequence and definition then she can no longer be considered a "reformer". Like McCain, Obama, Pelosi, Hillary, and every other former 2008 candidate, the ultimate test of worthiness is not the American people but to the overbearing Lobby of a foreign government that sets the course of foreign policy in alliance with the neoconservatives--ensuring a continuance of the phony "war on terrorism"--to "make the world safe for Democracy" through wars for "regime change". How quickly Washington transforms everyone, even from the remotest states, by coercing conformity to global democratic agenda and blind allegiance to Israel through the muscle of The Lobby. This trumps all other considerations, is the hallmark of foreign policy (and why wars never cease), which also in turn has consequences on the economy (high gas prices, national debt, value of money) and domestic policy as well.
