Bribery by the FBI, blatant corruption called instead "aggressive tactics" in the news headline. Would that have impacted the content of his testimony too? Correct me if wrong but if someone is witness to an alleged crime, subpoenas are used to legally force them to testify. They were trying to get evidence for a grand jury, but still I think it applies. This was outside the normal legal means, a clear mark of desperation and even attempting to fix the case, perhaps even create false testimony through bribery. This appears to be an attempt at Top-Down conspiracy to frame Ivins for the Anthrax case , and after paying Hatfill $5 million in a settlement (hush money) where they admitted no wrong doing. The FBI should be investigated for this, they are not above the law!
