According to Ofsted 'almost all' its 465 pupils are from ethnic minorities and a vast proportion do not speak English as a first language. The teacher claims racial discrimination by the school, its headmistress and her assistant head after they failed to take action about the comments made by pupils to him. For the UN to approve it meant the UN would have to be in command and it would be UN troops....not British and USA troops deciding to appoint themselves Sheriff. POPSChristianity Is Worth Saving From The Right-Wing Christians Most of the great moral battles in our nations history--the fight for civil rights, a living wage, aid to the poor, disabled and homeless, health care, protection of the environment, as well as the fight against unnecessary and illegal wars have been inspired by faith. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was so certain of the righteousness of his causes that he declared, "If we are wrong, God Almighty is wrong! If we are wrong, Jesus of Nazareth was merely a utopian dreamer and never came down to earth." Dr. King was right. Jesus calls His followers to political action. And His agenda is not to wage more wars, amass more wealth, and despoil the environment--as we find in the Republican playbook. His agenda is to preach and practice peace, spread the wealth, alleviate poverty, and protect the environment. I reject any notion of morality being limited to the religious right.

POPSIs it racist when white people deny that racism exists? It's a subconscious choice. It's to avoid the pangs of guilt that they would otherwise feel if they acknowledged racism does exist. And finally, I have come across white people who purposely deny that something is racist just to get a rise out of you. This situation is racism. Bottom line. You don't have to look to white people to acknowledge racism. You cannot count on them to identify racism. They are simply not capable of that. When you feel down or upset talk to someone else who's been through it. I am Somali and in those situations I have tried to talk to white people in the past. They just cannot fathom that in 2009 things like that happen. Talk to a black or Asian ,Latino person. They'll know where you're coming from.
