POPSTop 10 GOP Moderate Moments (via Rush) As I was in the car I switched him on and he was just beginning his countdown. Yes. Either the 'moderates' form their own party or the true conservatives must. I'm tired of voting for the lesser of the 2 evils and violating my true convictions. While these 'moderate' Republicans may be very nice people with good intentions...few actually shared my values. And he's right! The #1 'moderate' revealed so much about himself.

POPS₱ro₱€r ₮iming i$ ₮h€ ₭€¥ ₮o $u¢¢€$$ Banks often process large payments ahead of small debit card charges made the same day -- a practice sometimes called reordering. It's a safeguard, banks say, to ensure important bills such as mortgage payments get paid off first -- but critics allege that reordering allows banks to increase the number of overdraft charges they collect. It's a "gotcha-type practice," said Greg McBride, senior financial analyst at Bankrate.com I call it "crap" and I don't know how many times I've been hit with compounding overdraft charges. POPSi met the walrus but not yet Sarkozy "He is like Jacques Chirac, only worse," said Daniel Gros, director of the Centre for European Policy Studies. President Sarkozy has put the EU's national rivalries centre stage, through his proposal to lend 3bn euros (£2.6bn; $3.8bn) each to PSA Peugeot-Citroen and Renault, but on the condition that they avoid closing French production plants, or laying off French workers. With demand for cars in Europe down 27% in January, something has to give - and that something might well be Czech workers. There is a clear concern at the drift of French policy. EU Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes, who must ultimately decide on the legality of the French programme, is making her position quite clear. "We have to protect people by creating for them real jobs with real futures, not jobs that only exist as long as the taxpayers' money exists. That takes leadership. Leadership is not bribing multinationals and stealing jobs from one's neighbours," she said.
