POPSLibs Hitler spoof claims second scalp And we wonder why we get branded badly by some. Our right wing politicians at their best. Probably inspired by their leader. Typical prank of private school graduates.

POPSThe internal contradictions of ObamaCare Another major difference is that medical school is free in places like France. Here, doctors go to work with truly crushing med school debt that take years to pay down. Its hardly fair that they invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in their education and could now be told they can’t expect the ‘doctor’ type compensation we’re used to seeing.

POPS Dismantling America by Thomas Sowell
life and death decisions about your loved ones? Does any of this sound like America? How about a federal agency giving school children material to enlist them on the side of the president? Merely being assigned to sing his praises in class is apparently not enough. How much of America would be left if the federal government continued on this path? President Obama has already floated the idea of a national police force, something we have done without for more than two centuries. We already have local police forces all across the country and military forces for national defense, as well as the FBI for federal crimes and the National Guard for local emergencies. What would be the role of a national police force created by Barack Obama, with all its leaders appointed by him? It would seem more like the brown shirts of dictators than like anything American. Those who say that the Obama administration should have investigated those people more thoroughly before appointing .

POPSDismantling America Great comments Dr. Sowell. FTA: "Had it not been for the Fox News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what they are." And he tells us that how much Obama succeeds in his dismantling of America will depend on how much resistance he meets. The resistance is mounting and it's time for a complete roll.

POPSNegros Occidental High School In early 1902, leaders of the short-lived Republica de Negros led by former provincial governor Melecio Severino and former Minister of Justice Antonio Jayme, together with George W. Bettie -- the division superintendent of schools -- exerted efforts to open a public secondary school in Negros Occidental. Despite the indifference of provincial governor to the idea, the school -- originally named Instituto Rizal-- was established due to the influence of the American provincial treasurer over the provincial board.

POPSLaVena Johnson: Raped and Murdered on a Military Base in Iraq
If she had of being white this story would have got a lot more coverage Questions were raised when LaVena’s family viewed her body. There were suspicious bruises, and while the military claimed that this right-handed soldier had shot herself in the head with an M-16 rifle, the gunshot wound was on the left side of her head. But the truth began to make itself known when the family received the autopsy report and photos they requested under the Freedom of Information Act: The 5-foot-tall, 100-pound woman had been struck in the face with a blunt instrument, probably a weapon. Her nose had been broken, and her teeth knocked backwards. There were bruises, teeth marks and scratches on the upper part of her body. Her back and right hand had been doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire. Her genital area was bruised and lacerated, and lye had been poured into her vagina. The debris found on her person suggested her body had been dragged. And despite all this mutilation, she was

POPSHealth Care Reform: Poll shows most Doctors support Public Option More: "Whether they lived in southern regions of the United States or traditionally liberal parts of the country," says Keyhani, "we found that physicians, regardless — whether they were salaried or they were practice owners, regardless of whether they were specialists or primary care providers, regardless of where they lived — the support for the public option was broad and widespread." The survey even found widespread support for a public option among doctors who are members of the American Medical Association, a group that's opposed to it. The AMA fears a public option eventually could lead to government putting more limits on doctors' fees. Appears only rightwing nutjob townhall screamers don't support health care reform.

POPSWhat Obama Did NOT Tell Children in Public Schools Satire, yet so true, in that Obama went thru the private school route, like so many of the elite in Washington who tout "public education" and "stay in school"--for everybody else that is. It is also very presumptuous for any president to think that a) the schools belong to the federal government (they are state and county run), and b) that the President can by-pass parents and speak directly to their children, for whom they are solely responsible. Only communist governments think the children belong to them, thus a clear mark of the Collectivist State Parent is manifest . This is Marxism 101.

POPSTeachers petition to recall new code of conduct Do we have the right to dictate people’s private life behavior? If this passes, where will it end? Should parents be held to theses standards? What about politicians? The Taliban punishes people for ‘behavior’ transgressions. We find it disturbing when a woman receives 20 lashes for wearing pants. Are we no better by imposing these machivelian codes of behavior on our citizens? Is there an existing problem with teachers engaging in unquestionable behavior that has prompted this code? This sounds like some busybody is pushing his/her puritanical ideas onto others. Brian Cookson, a teacher at the Friary School in Lichfield, said it best: “the code was 'practically demanding sainthood'”. I understand the frustration that led to this code, society’s general lack of respect for anything and anyone, but seriously, a person is responsible for their own choices and we already have laws in place to address more serious wrongdoings.
