Baby Products
ieagle55
by ieagle55  9-4-2009
I ran across this site looking for a way to help relieve my baby’s diaper rash. At the same place I found a cute pair of shoes for my baby girl and a lot of other baby products too. Oh, and that diaper rash; I think we have it beat now.

'Death panels' are killing us NOW, Sarah!
masbury
by masbury  8-10-2009    4
"When an infant is stillborn because of inadequate or nonexistent prenatal care, a cancer patient forgoes or is denied treatment because of costs, a family is forced to decide whose medical needs will be met -- whose postponed, don't tell me somewhere a death panel isn't at work."

Ezekiel Emanuel: Deny Coverage to Elderly & Disabled for Greater Good
billpar
by billpar  7-28-2009    2
If a child's disorder is undetected by prenatal testing, what happens when the disorder becomes obvious after birth? I shudder to think what the government would come up with then. Emanuel's policies would lead to a further deterioration of our nation's culture as people begin to look at those with disabilities as objects that drive up collective health care costs instead of as individual human beings who have intrinsic value and rights endowed to them by God. ____________________ Shouldn't THIS be above Obama's pay grade?

The real threat to marriage ...
earnric
by earnric  5-7-2009    3
But many of the religious folks would have you believe two guys living together in Iowa is the real threat to marriage ... while somehow a single, teen mother is now the poster child for abstinence education (which obviously didn't work). Am I missing something here, or is this just really stupid.

Why Many Pro-Lifers Oppose Government-Financed Family Planning RSS stumble digg reddit del.ico.us mi
ratilfar
by ratilfar  2-3-2009    2
The moral problem: Planned Parenthood also provides prenatal care that prevents infant death and birth control that stops unintended pregnancies. Pro-lifers have declared that one cannot aid evil, even if it doing so has positive byproducts. Yet most evangelicals advocate such moral cost-benefit analysis in other contexts -- arguing, for instance, that the evil of torture was counterbalanced by the benefit of stopping mass murder.

Pro-life and Pro-Obama
masbury

Douglas Kmiec, Reagan legal counsel, Catholic University and Notre Dame dean and professor, introduces an excellent website that tells why a vote for Obama is a more effective pro-life vote than a vote for McCain. Download the .pdf for a good summary.

Medical tests such as a pregnancy ultrasound can help your health care provider monitor your baby's development, while more specialized pregnancy tests such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS) can help detect conditions such as Down syndrome and cystic fibrosis.

Babies absorb chemicals from shampoo
pokkets
by pokkets  2-4-2008    2
There are the same kinds of dangerous chemicals in just about everything people touch. Babies developing are particularly at risk. Do the Manufacturers give a damn. Not a chance. They just hate bad publicity, because it will reduce sales. Of course there'll is plenty of concerned looks and lip service, but business is business. Even if it's killing the customers. It may not kill them outright - just a slow creep, perhaps sterilize them. They know there's a giant market emerging in China and India to fill any gaps. Scare tactics ? Yes. Things are rotting from the inside. Anyone who is not scared is a fool. Terrorism is a Red Herring.
