POPSYour Voice Is Being Heard On Capitol Hill In the energy debate, common sense is winning and it’s got the anti-energy elites rattled because they offer no solutions to lowering gas and diesel prices. American Solutions, on the other hand, has taken a bold stand and has been leading the "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" movement that has energized millions of Americans around a positive solution. Because of your help and the help of more than a million others, today an overwhelming majority of Americans support opening up new areas for exploration and drilling of American oil and gas, including offshore. American Solution is headed up to Capitol Hill today to meet with Members of Congress still in Washington working to pass an energy bill to deliver a message of thanks. After the meeting, we'll hold a press conference with Speaker Gingrich and other House Republicans at 10:30 am. C-SPAN plans to air the press conference live here.

POPSEconomic Models Predict Obama Win by 'Decent Margin' After years and years of claiming to be the fiscally responsible party, the GOP's cred on economic issues has tanked. The "trickle down" economics that Republicans have adopted since Reagan have turned out to be a bust, mostly because it's a bass-ackward idea that wealth moves down the economic ladder, not up. It was always a welfare program for the wealthy and that's never been so apparent as it is today. So McCain's only hope is that lunatic mathematics magically begins working before now and Nov. Frankly, I don't think there's much chance of that.

POPS Invest Manager lawsuit seeks to seize 5 million odd from e-bullion acc I was reading on Google news about the arrest of James Fayed from e-bullion and found this item below.. Invest manager if I remember rightly ran for quite some time in 2006 to 2007. A young mate actually signed up for it but just as they were about to spend (not using ebullion) a warning screen popped up and said ....... This program has been identified as a likely ponzi scheme or scam, if you continue there is a strong possibility you will lost your money. It is not to late to cancel your payment now. Which he did. Looks like that identification was spot on.. Now I'm not positive it is the same invest manager program as with all these they do tend to use similar names.

POPSHouston Doctors Make Major Break Through For once there is good news. It seems two Houston Doctors have made a major discovery in AIDS research. This is something which could revolutionize AIDS treatment. The treatment still has to go through human trails.

POPSSpencer Before The Senate A few days ago, Dr. Roy Spencer gave testimony before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee chaired by Sen. Barbara Boxer. To say his testimony wasn't at all what she wanted to hear, would be an understatement. Spencer doesn't descend to the level of many of his opponents and call Forster a 'denier' or a 'heretic'. Unlike them, apparently, he has some confidence in the soundness of the science backing his position. Obviously when that's the case, there's no real reason to resort to that sort of nonsense, is there? Or, shorter version, "you politicians need to sit back and relax until the science is is complete on this, but there are indications enough to doubt the initial take on all of this and policy shouldn't be implemented that may be both costly and unnecessary". Naturally Congress, which is up to its armpits in costly and unnecessary legislation is unlikely heed that warning unless enough of a ruckus is raised to make them.

POPSIraqi PM: 'Obama is Right' My question is when -- or even whether -- the media will start comparing the facts in the world to John McCain's rhetoric. Not only is Iraq heading in the exact opposite direction of what he's been advocating, but so has the State Dept's. posture toward Iran . John McCain is being proved wrong before our very eyes and no one seems to be pointing this out.

POPST.E.A.C.H. It is too easy online to act, feel and then think. My advice-feel it, think about it, then act.

POPSVolunteer and Travel! I'm in! I was looking at Happy News today and they featured an article on "Hands Up Holiday." Why not do both - volunteer at a worthwhile event and take a holiday. Seriously, this is one of the coolest things I've seen yet!

POPSSurvey shows Obama 51 percent More than six in 10 African Americans now rate race relations as "not so good" or "poor," while 53 percent of whites hold more positive views. Opinions are also divided along racial lines, though less so, on whether blacks face discrimination. There is more similarity on feelings of personal racial prejudice: Thirty percent of whites and 34 percent of blacks admit such sentiments. At the same time, there is an overwhelming public openness to the idea of electing an African American to the presidency. In a Post-ABC News poll last month, nearly nine in 10 whites said they would be comfortable with a black president. While fewer whites, about two-thirds, said they would be "entirely comfortable" with it, that was more than double the percentage of all adults who said they would be so at ease with someone entering office for the first time at age 72, which McCain (R-Ariz.) would do should he prevail in November.

POPSSatellite network to predict earthquakes According to the theory, due to pressure in the rocks oxygen is one of the products of the chemical reactions in the rock. When it is under extreme pressure the oxygen gives off a positive charge which is reflected in readings in the ionosphere. The nature and of the charge, can give an indication of the pressure as it slowly build before a major earthquake. The number of lives save may be hard to imagine, but one of the most frightening aspects of an earthquake at the moment, is the fact that there is literally one minutes notice.

POPSUS quits Human Rights Council?
“We don’t understand the reasons nor the timing of the decision”, said Sebastien Gillioz of Human Rights Watch. “There have even been some positive signs during this Council. For example Belarus was not re-elected as a member in 2007 nor Sri Lanka this year”. The stupefaction was made greater by the fact the US actively took part in the universal Periodic Review (UPR) process where 32 countries were scrutinized by their peers in April and May. In particular a series of recommendations were made regarding Romania, Japan, Guatemala, Peru, Tunisia, Ukraine, Indonesia and others. Diplomats are equally concerned. If the current president of the Council, Doru Costea, declined to comment, his predecessor, Luis Alfonso De Alba said that he didnt see any reason to justify such a decision. Several observers mentioned Washington’s growing discontentment with the influence of the Islamic and African countries in the Council. “It is an aberration”, said Peter Splinter of Amnesty Internatio

POPSThe Hopeless Press Network news shows have been delivering overly negative reports since 2003. This was standard operating procedure, just more horrific than usual. In 2006, 17 network stories drew comparisons with the Great Depression, from U.S. savings rates to climate change.

POPSThe Iraqi Upturn This started out as a "good news" clip...and it is! But is the Washington Post suggesting that *President Obama* can take credit for the withdrawal?

POPSNews Execs Complicit in Pre-War Propaganda This confirmed by CNN's Jessica Yellin. The explanation of the execs motives is interesting. But actually that network execs are largely of Zionist persuasion has a lot to do with their support of war for a democratization of the Middle East and expansion of Israeli power consistent with the neoconservatives. They were also entirely complicit and non-investigative in fingering responsibility for 9/11, despite the lack of evidence beyond allegation.

POPSFOX News finishes first.... There's a reason why most Americans choose to get their news from here. If the other news outlets were just a little less hate-America-first, their ratings might creep up. Our Country isn't perfect but is sure isn't as bad as the MSM wants to portray us. There are a lot of positive things to report...believe it or not.
