The article also fails to explain why the law applies only to men. If they realized that by allowing women to own pets, they have a privelege men don't, the entire fabric of Saudi society could come unraveled.

POPSJapanese fooled in poodle scam. Now, the article claims that, since sheep are rare in Japan, it's not unbelievable that people didn't know what they looked like, and were thusly fooled. But seriously, they know what dogs look like, and they should have known immediately that, "Hey, I don't know what that is, but it's not a dog. What's up with it's feet? They're like... hooves or something." I mean, I know poodles are horrid little inbred dogs, but come on, really? Japan, you're just yankin' my chain, aren't you.
