POPSObama's Malignant Narcissism
When Obama runs into brick walls, he seems to reflexively go into a state of rage. The same thing will happen to Obama if and when he loses the election in 2012. Since narcissists in power keep people around them in a constant state of fear -- everybody gets targeted and feels insecure -- you can expect a ton of dirty tricks in elections to come. But then Democrats constantly use dirty tricks. I fear two things with Obama. One is if the GOP fails to elect a House majority in 2010 to keep Obama within the bounds of sanity. A GOP majority is essential for the safety of the country and the world. But even if Obama is defeated in 2012, he will just turn into an angrier version of Al Gore and Jimmy Carter. He will haunt the political future of this country as long as he is alive, because that famished ego never gets enough. Malignant narcissism often gets worse over time. So even if the voters throw out this very dangerous cult-like administration, you can expect Obama to be poppi

POPS Enraged by Fascist Insurrection It is TREASON and INSURRECTION when Usurpers routinely enact and enforce Unconstitutional laws and otherwise commit criminal acts that loot and destroy our Republic while depriving us of our constitutional rights. For their ill gotten gains, they have made war on the people, and for that there is a sure and certain retribution in common law and in hell. Every Monetary and Financial action taken, or proposed by this government, excluding parts of the recurring budget, are unconstitutional, and will facilitate the looting of this country by traitors resulting in total economic collapse, third world status and Fascism. There is no possibe upside to be found in the history of Economic Theory and Practice; every action taken is designed to destroy and loot our economy. As an Economist, I read 10-15 articles a day by other Economists I respect, and they all reinforce what I just said.

POPSChrysler Bankruptcy Hardball: The Shape Of Things To Come That's a political payoff pure and simple. The senior secured creditors (many of which represent retirement funds and savings plans) said no. The Obama administration then deployed the brass knuckles. As one blogger notes, Car Czar Rattner got downright Nixonian about the resistance to The One: Confronting the head of a non-TARP fund holding Chrysler debt and unwilling to release it for any sum less than that to which it was legally entitled without compelling cause, this country's "Car Czar" berated the manager of said fund with an outburst of prose substantially resembling this: Who the f*ck do you think you're dealing with? We'll have the IRS audit your fund. Every one of your employees. Your investors. Then we will have the Securities and Exchange Commission rip through your books looking for anything and everything and nothing we find to destroy you with.

POPSWhy White People Are Afraid I think this is what's fueling the dramatic increase in the right wing fear, fear mongering, chicken little clips lately. I seems like the internet version of the red faced little man that almost had a stroke at the mccain rally. FEAR is the fuel behind that. FEAR of retribution. FEAR of loss. I can't help but chuckle at these cowards.

POPSPrescription For Disaster: Obama Promises Tax Hikes During A Recession In October, Amil Amani at the American Thinker wrote, "Obama's economic plan is a recipe for long-lasting disaster. Keep in mind that wrecking anything, as opposed to building things, requires very little time and effort. Obama's plan is deceptively attractive, while in reality it is a huge wrecking ball that will capsize the already listing ship of our economy..." And The Wall Street Journal: "Business Finally Fights Back - The business community is back in politics. After years of contented political gridlock, American companies are now officially horrified at what an all-Democratic Washington intends to inflict on the U.S. economy. The Chamber is throwing its extensive resources at denying the left a filibuster-proof Senate. In doing so, it has stuck its finger in the Democratic leadership's beehive, and is facing retribution..."

POPSWe Must Never Forget Too many egregious Republican party acts to fit in this clip, so be sure to go to the source to read the rest and add to the growing list in the comments. Here are a few more: "We must never forget that the Republican party gave us a president whose chief confidant and advisor was a political hit man and professional liar named Karl Rove." "We must never forget that the Republican party gave us a president who created a gulag in Guantanamo and sanctioned the torture of prisoners." "We must never forget that the Republican party gave us a president whose inner circle participated in the outing of a CIA agent as political retribution." "We must never forget that the Republican party gave us a president who commuted the sentence of convicted perjurer (and unconvicted traitor) Scooter Libby." "We must never forget that the Republican party gave us a president who tried to privatize Social Security."

POPSUK MP: USA Executions INHUMANE "I think the State has a right to exact retribution and in the worst cases that means paying with a life," he says today. "I still do believe in it – I switched my position because of several miscarriages of justice, not because of any change of heart. "However, I feel very strongly that if the State is going to kill someone, it should do it in a way that is as unlike murder as possible. It should be painless. "There's not an animal from a beetle to an elephant that you can kill without a series of protocols worked out scientifically to make sure the creature does not suffer. "Yet when it comes to capital punishment, we are far less concerned about whether it is humane or not. "I wanted to discover whether the science of killing offered an alternative." That is why Portillo, who has carved out a respected TV career for himself since leaving politics, finds himself at the grandly titled Centre for Man and Aviation in Soesterberg, Netherlands."

POPSJapanese whalers fear retribution - bravo! Devious tactics by Japanese whalers are now being challenged - bravo Sea Shepherd! Let the whalers know what it is like to feel hunted! Although loathe to endorse extreme action I believe Japan will only desist when the cost becomes too great - a pity that may mean the loss of human life but that is one of the options determined activists may have to resort to bring Japan to its senses. Political gesturing has brought no results - it is time to "up the anti"!

POPS Hugo Just Won't "Shut Up" Issues Veiled Threat "Spain has many investments, private companies here and we don't want to damage that, but if they are damaged, they are damaged. Spanish investment in Venezuela is not indispensable. ... We don't need it," Chavez said, mentioning Spanish banks Banco Santander SA and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA "Whatever has been privatized can be taken back, we can take it back," Chavez told Reuters. "If the government of Spain or the state of Spain ... start to generate a conflict, things are not going to go well." The spat began Saturday when Chavez accused former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar of backing a coup that briefly removed him from power in 2002 and repeatedly called Aznar "fascist" in an address at the summit of leaders from Latin America, Spain and Portugal.

POPSChampion Imperils Himself
Wu Lihong, an activist who crusaded for decades about the pollution of Lake Tai, the center of China’s ancient “land of fish and rice.” Mr. Wu, however, bore silent witness. Shortly before the algae crisis erupted in May, the authorities here in his hometown arrested him. In mid-August, with a fetid smell still wafting off the lake, a local court sentenced him to three years on an alchemy of charges that smacked of official retribution. Senior officials have tried to address environmental woes mostly through pulling the traditional levers of China’s authoritarian system: issuing command quotas on energy efficiency and emissions reduction; punishing corrupt officials who shield polluters; planting billions of trees across the country to hold back deserts and absorb carbon dioxide. But they do not dare to unleash individuals who want to make China cleaner. Grass-roots environmentalists arguably do more to expose abuses than any edict emanating from Beijing. But they face a politica

These reports of taking retribution of any kind against the soldiers for reporting their living conditions in Building 18 of Walter Reed Vets Hospital is just disgusting. We call them our heroes and then treat them like fecal matter. Whoever is doing this harassment should be busted down to private.

POPSRightist threats raise fears in Japan Disturbing intimidation tactics by right-wing extremists in Japan is silencing many liberal journalists, lawmakers and academics. "The government is also feeling freer about promoting its conservative agenda through the media." Scary...and eerily similar to what's been happening in the USA for the last several years.

POPSThe same "wolf story" Don’t believe in invading countries for political ends? You must be a terrorist. Have a problem with razing and pillaging countries that have been self-sufficient for thousands of years? Terrorist. Believe the protection of innocent lives outweighs everything? Well, when it comes to abortion, you’re a Christian martyr. But if it comes to war, you, friend, are a terrorist.
