POPSHow Long Must Terrorism Go On? How Long? As U2 sings, "How long must this go on; how long?" Religion was not established to murder and be blessed. What wayward thinking that will only bring doom to those who kill in the name of God.

POPSClimategate: Science corrupted Here is an example how scientific collisions spilled out onto unsuspecting public. Excessive public (read journalists and even paparazzi) attention in science is always leading to speculations and manipulations. And usually difficult to say who manipulating by whom: scientists by politicians or vice versa. I believe scientists must carefully follow each rule of scientific ethic and be scrutinized in this matter every time they attracting interest of wide auditorium. The main question here: Is it new trend or ordinary fluctuations? And polar bears soon will not be able to float around on a floes. As is their custom on the North, they said... ;)

POPSBright sample of the politic as... unusual... When the politicians will start to talk from the bottom of their hearts and not from the bottom of their pockets only then we will start to sense fresh breeze of real changes around. So far speeches like this is rare bright sample of brave people's representative. When you are on political scene you cannot escape from people's judgment and scrutiny...

POPSShould I continue.... Bragging rights, posted this to my website last year. Take a look, see if there's any similar real life politics going on! This site is rated #1 out of 277,000,000 pages, so check it out, moving it to a blog format, easier to make post. If i do blog format, will need some help from both conservatives and liberals.

POPSThe modern land of racism and apartheid. danger of marrying non-Jews If this is not inhuman practice of shamelessly open racism and apartheid, than WHAT is racism and apartheid? Where are dissenting voices of Jewish bright minds? Do they understand the dire outcome of this politic?

POPSPolling reveals California's fragmented electorate More: # California's white non-Latino population has dipped 26.1 percent over the past 31 years, but the proportion of white voters has dropped by just 18 percent, meaning the ethnic gap between voters and nonvoters has actually increased. # The share of the electorate held by the two major parties, more than 90 percent in 1978, has dropped to under 76 percent as the ranks of independents have swelled from less than 8 percent to 20 percent, with most of that shift coming at the expense of Democrats. # Voters are markedly older than they were in 1978, reflecting the rapid aging of the dominant white population, and more likely to be homeowners (74 percent) and college graduates (46 percent) than they were then. # Democrats are increasingly clustered in coastal cities, while the inland areas of California have become Republican strongholds.

POPSa prairie home torture companion it went on to say: right-the self-described "old museum- quality northern liberal" says holding high officials responsible for murderous torture they carried out in his and our name would only yeild "high political drama that would feed the media goat" and "sap the body politic" and that the health care system would go unfixed, schools would crumble, and basic public services deteriorate- geesh!....more at source

POPS HARDFIRE! Are the Paranoids Coming to Get Us?
Air Force One Well Dave, I'm going to have to say both. There's no denying that Tony Iommi's chunky lead and Geezer Butler's thundering bass set a lasting standard for headbanging power trios. But there's also no denying there's something very unsettling about today's body politic. Just the other day I decided to drop into lower Manhattan for a surprise low altitude fly-by photo op. I was expecting friendly smiles and waves, but instead that crowd in Battery Park started scurrying around like a herd of caribou underneath Sarah Palin's helicopter. I mean, what's up with that? Dave Burge Psychologists say some New Yorkers may still have lingering memories of 9-11. Air Force One 9-1-what? Dave Burge Nevermind. How are you coping with the trauma of that painful incident? Air Force One Well Dave, I have to say my self-esteem took a hit. It made me realize that Jumbo Jet-Americans still face an uphill battle against paranoid transportational profiling.

POPS Pork Flu Sterling at Wired links to CDC’s helpful household anti-swine flu hints, and adds reassuring perspective: People freak out over “pandemics,” even though we’ve got one of the worst pandemics in history, AIDS, raging through the carcass of the body-politic right now. AIDS is an extremely fearsome disease, practically 100% lethal, yet it’s hard work to get people to remain properly afraid of it. http://www.wired.com/sterling/2009/04/practical-tips.html That Schwein of a flu sure is going to stink up Obama’s big 100 Days speech. Speaking of which, here are some thoughts on that. Malkin, nice flyby! http://michellemalkin.com/2009/04/28/heckuva-job-louie-and-barry/

POPSThe body politic runs off the rails IT IS DESTABILIZING How can you run a company when the rules keep changing, when you have to worry about being second-guessed by Congress..? At this point, most Wall Street bankers would rather be attacked by wild dogs than take part. They fear that they’ll do something — make money perhaps? — that will arouse Congressional ire. Or that the rules will change... Not all the employees who face the possibility of having their bonuses taxed out from under them work for the evil financial products division... Taking away their bonuses — after they’ve already put the money in their bank accounts — hardly seems like the right way to motivate them. Maybe they can't see it from the shamrock-hued vistas of their "cottages" on the west coast of Ireland, but the political class has done nothing this last week but destroy the wealth of this country.

POPSBlack spy betrays the home that sustained him The liberals are calling these spies 'heroic". Maybe so. It is easy to rewrite history and slant it to today's politic. What this tells me that blacks who feel aggrieved by the present system seem to turn and betray. And most blacks today have been brainwashed to feel aggrieved by the greatness of America that sustained them and gave them every opportunity to succeed. The history of the world is filled with traitors. Like the shepherd who showed the Persians the route around Thermopolae. Maybe if the Persians could write history they would label the shepherd as a hero and patriot.

POPSLaughs All Around Of course Mike thinks gay marriage would be bad for society, bad for marriage, and bad for children. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Everyone has a right to fall in love with whomever they choose, and it's inappropriate for him to politic on a "religious" ( I could argue otherwise) platform for government to mediate our relationships. In fact, it is only reinforcing beliefs that are homophobic and teaching others to hate homosexuals. He is totally free to live his life according to his beliefs; God bless America. But it's morally and civilly wrong for him to prevent other people from being happy in their own love.
