So much for border patrol. Now it is clear the Obama administration has open the borders without restraint.

Bush Memos: Constitution Suspended Under Plea of "Terrorism"
blueridge
by blueridge  3-2-2009    6
Specifically the 4th and 5th amendments, and Posse Comitatus, which forbids the use of military for domestic policing. The dangerous plea of "necessity" and "war powers" was used. In other words, the Constitution was suspended (in factual actions) and America was under secret Martial Law.

The Ballooning Federal Reserve
merrie
by merrie  1-27-2009
Furthermore, the logical conclusion of this legislation is that it would circumvent the concept that Congress should oversee monitoring agencies. Critics of the proposal argue that with regulatory power, the Fed would work more in favor of large financial companies because they pose as more of a danger to the financial system if they fail. But Frank himself has been a sharp critic of the Fed, once threatening to remove its consumer protection powers. Just leave it to our forgetful elected officials to stamp the Fed with the now infamous too big to fail label. Frank’s proposal, however, has yet to be penned, and he is also considering giving the power to a new and separate agency — a much more feasible concept. In an era of big bailouts of big banks, concentrated size and power should be counter-intuitive.

'Justice' Dept. Wants to Erase 4th Amendment, FBI to Have Gestapo Power
blueridge
by blueridge  8-22-2008
Attorney General Mukasey (neocon) wants to give broad powers to the FBI as if the 4th amendment is nothing at all instead of supreme law. The Justice Department said Wednesday that in light of requests from members of Congress for more information, Mr. Mukasey would agree not to sign the new guidelines before a Sept. 17 Congressional hearing. Can you believe this absolute corruption and blatant attempt to usurp power for federal policing? There will actually be a hearing in America's Congress to determine whether the 4th amendment will still stand--which forbids searches without probable cause! This right after the annual Sept. 11th propaganda campaign to justify ANY NEW POWERS the government wants, the Constitution notwithstanding. Mukasey has no Constitutional authority to sign or authorize this (the Constitution is above Mukasey, as well as Bush and Congress), but he wants to, after a good propaganda campaign to justify it as "necessary".

Sound Familiar?
yamdablam
by yamdablam  11-2-2007
Does this sound familiar? Just goes to show that it is being done in almost every country. The countries of exception are more than likely at war. The usual "balanced" debate with a fixed outcome is now happening on our radios and t.v screens backed up by opinion polls to beat the band. Ya gotta love uniformity! That and freedom...they don't mix -- http://www.yamdablam.com/

Looks like the FBI is stepping over some boundaries. I wonder how the Legislative Branch and the Justice Dept are going to handle this situation.
