Obama sprung from Illinois politics. Beyond any doubt, this town likely voted for Obama. How do you like that "hope and change" Pembroke citizens?? Welcome to Obama's Amerika.

POPSTHEORY or FACT So, why would former CIA director Woolsey, as the Fire Department’s Anti-terrorism Consultant, be gagging Isaac and his colleagues about what they saw and heard, i.e. bombs exploding in the building if not to cover up the government conspiracy, the inside job behind the supposed demolition of the WTC by two jetliners, whose fuel fire supposedly melted the redundant steel frames which caved and caused a pyroplastic free-fall of each building in some ten seconds. All at once the conspiracy of the lone Muslim airliner hijackers destroying the towers goes down the drain, glub, glub! That’s why Firefighters and Police Officers were gagged

POPSMexican Power Union Power Struggle
Calderón has attacked one of Mexico's most powerful unions. In Mexico, unions are powerful because of the power they enjoy to disrupt daily life for ordinary people, who just want to get to work and home again and be safe. Governments have been too pusillanimous to intervene to stop their illegal blockage of public spaces. See the six-month sit-in in 2006 that paralyzed Mexico City and took billions of pesos from people as work dried up for the poorest who lost their "job" washing and parking cars in Mexico City's chaotic downtown. Etc Etc. Calderón effectively lost a battle with the mega teacher's union"the largest in Latin America. The "teachers" blocked highways and city centers throughout the nation and Calderón's "reforms" were immasculated (not that they would have done any good anyway). Now he's taken on the electricians' union and with it the cultural icon of the government power company. Mexicans are taught to believe that their nationalized power company is a "right

POPS Organs For Health Care and I don’t want to spend the rest of my career waste-deep in a tub of hybrid vehicle battery acid. I just want to note a major beneficial aspect of the one-party autocracy system that Friedman left out. The work camps for political prisoners. Not only would they be a great place to throw angry peasants and annoying right-wing talk show hosts, shutting them up and making them a useful source of cheap labor for jobs that undocumented comrades don’t want to do, like working in vats full of whatever chemicals they need to make all the ”green” stuff. But the government also could sell their organs to help pay for universal health care. There, that’s my idea.

POPSU.S. Bush Era AG 2B Sued, Judge OK'd
The Bush Era house of cards is indeed, falling. The scam here was to arrest and hold people in jail...a U.S. citizen...without charges, without trial, without his one phone call, without a lawyer - subject them to harsh conditions, screw up their life, and do all this based on the claim they were an important "witness," that needed to be held in custody for someone else's trial. This was a scam deliberately used to circumvent the laws that protect our civil liberties that are suppose to prevent this type of mistreatment. Trying to sue a police officer or the country's head prosecutor btw, is about as difficult as landing a man on the moon - they have a lot of 'extra protections,' because of their jobs (or else people would be suing them everyday) -- so for a federal court to say this case should go ahead is significant. Significant, as in: You can run but you can't hide. i.e., justice is coming. Putting such law-breaking former politicians in jail is NOT "politics," -- it's

POPSStealing & Selling Kids - Here! Child trafficking is a problem in Eastern Europe, in South Asia and USA. It's not just for sex that children are trafficked but that's the big ticket item here in USA. Disgusting - yep. Who's buying and who gets jailed when police departments stop denying there is a problem in their community. In Cincinnati, they think it's not a problem but it's not just weed and coke that travels I-74, I-75 and I-74 interstates!

POPSProtesters Descend on Chevron for Climate Justice
“Chevron has the opportunity to do the right thing,” said Mayor of Richmond, Gayle McLaughlin. “They just need to agree to capping the crude at the level they currently refine. We want them to put Richmond’s residents to work modernizing and replacing the 80 year old boilers, which sadly they chose to remove from the project several months ago. ” “We want Chevron to build a cleaner and safer refinery,” said Ana Orozco of Communities for A Better Environment. ”We want the union jobs to continue to build a refinery that is cleaner and safer for our community. Our community has been put at risk for too long.” Of course Chevron would greet the peaceful protesters with a heavy police presence. Chevron has the mindset that they have the power to do anything they want without regard to how they poison people and the environment. They are championed by governments around the world who value money over the conditions of people’s lives. Chevron: agent of Corprafascism.

POPS“Can’t we all just get along?”
But apparently Gates still doesn’t get it. If he wants a New Yorker article and a PBS documentary out of this, he’s going to have to dig deep and challenge his own thinking on race relations. A simple misunderstanding and flared tempers lacks a little umph and isn’t going to cut it. Hard to get indignant about that. But I dunno, Professor Gates, there could be something in this idea that we are entering a new phase in race relations, some new ground you can chart out. Maybe we’re approaching a place in this country where no one can make immediate assumptions, throw around accusations, and make demands anymore. Where there has to be some room for nuance, understanding. And the recognition that racism is a two-way street. Think about it. Obama, too, who also called this a “teachable moment.” Absolutely. If he’s willing to listen, and learn. Turns out this is not so much about race as it is about being civil. In the transcendant words of Rodney King, “Can’t we all just get along?"

POPSA Czar Too Far - #5 The administration’s “Green Jobs” czar, Van Jones, has a “very checkered past” deep-rooted in radical politics, including black nationalism, anarchism, and communism. The broadcast network newscasts have mostly failed to report on Mr. Jones’s past political affiliations which are lock-step with the network’s downplay of coverage regarding President Obama’s associations with the former radical and terrorist William Ayers during the election. Jones is a San Francisco extremist who admits to having been “radicalized in jail.” You really should read ALL of Moonbattery’s post. Very enlightening to say the least… From the Examiner: Van Jones, ‘Green Jobs Czar’, a self-described ‘communist’ arrested during Rodney King riots The 41-year-old Yale Law School graduate and civil rights lawyer is also the founder of California’s Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, “a non-profit agency for justice, opportunities and peace.” Sounds idyllic, but Jones’ past isn’t so pastoral.

POPSObama's Civilian National Security Force No wonder Obama fired Inspector General Walpin who uncovered the misuse of taxpayer funds by Americorps... public outrage over wasted taxpayer money could ruin his grand plan. No wonder he gave Walpin 1 hour to resign or be fired after Walpin threatened to reopen the investigation and (possibly) go public with it.

POPSTeen charged in Miami's 19 serial cat killings
First i wonder why they stress the word "teen" . He is 18. suppose to be an adult. Not pitied because he is only 18. Like i have said many times, there are thousands and thousands of "teens" 18 that are not low life worthless scum. They are overseas fighting for their country and proud to serve it. They have grown up and contribute to society our country. And this piece of crap was bored probably because he lives with mommy and daddy, unemployed (lazy). Now lets feel manly so what to do ? Oh there are defenseless little cats and kittens, bet i can show them i am stronger ! Makes him feel soooooo big. If the judicial system shows this bag of crap any slack at all they deserve what comes later in years when he progresses to people instead of cats. More then likely will claim was brought up in stressful life, was abused so not his fault. dirtbag ! I consider animals a gift from god to us to be treasured. Ever see a dog or cat and how they love us unconditionally seeking only our love

POPSCalifornia wants to cut legal aid attorneys for the poor More: Adachi said his office would be devastated and would have to fire 15 to 20 attorneys, about 20 percent of his staff. Then, he said, ''The whole system would begin to fail.'' Defendants would sit in jail longer, increasing incarceration costs, Adachi said. Cases would be delayed while private attorneys get up to speed, creating bigger clogs in a legal pipeline that barely trickles now. Adachi's current budget is nearly $24 million -- ''less than half what the police and sheriff's departments spend in overtime,'' he notes. Slashing it would mean farming out 6,000 cases to private lawyers, ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. That would cost $3 million to $4 million, Adachi estimates, or up to twice as much as the cut itself. ''It's robbing Peter to pay Paul,'' he said, because, inevitably, it's the county general fund that has to pay the extra costs -- the same fund that pays for his office. ''It's really shortsighted.''

POPSMan arrested for "endangering" officers with camera prepares for trial This would be laughable if it weren’t happening virtually everywhere. You might ask “why would a cop arrest someone for videotaping a police action?” Evidently, police don’t like having their photos taken while doing their jobs. Why? Because they feel threatened that the photo can incriminate them? But, how can a photo incriminate you if you are doing nothing improper? If they are not using excessive force, if they are performing their duty without endangering the safety of others then where is the problem? If you acquire video or photographic evidence that warrants an official investigation, create and secure copies of the evidence, then forward it to local police monitoring groups such as civilian review boards, ACLU, and NAACP chapters And get legal representation for yourself in case the police department retaliates against you.

POPSPolice officers saved by stimulus may still lose jobs So Obama saved 25 jobs for a year and they'll still lose almost 300 jobs including these 25 officers unless the local gov't increases taxes. How is that helping the economy? I'm sooo thankful for the Obama Stimulus Plan. Wake Up people!

POPS"Rich States, Poor States" New York and Ohio and relocated mostly to the nine tax-haven states with no income tax, including Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire and Texas. We also found that over these same years the no-income tax states created 89% more jobs and had 32% faster personal income growth than their high-tax counterparts. New Hampshire helps give the lie to the feeble counterargument. Those who disapprove of tax competition complain that lower state taxes only create a zero-sum competition where states "race to the bottom" and cut services to the poor as taxes fall to zero. They say that tax cutting inevitably means lower quality schools and police protection as lower tax rates mean starvation of public services. They're wrong, and New Hampshire is our favorite illustration. The Live Free or Die State has no income or sales tax, yet it has high-quality schools and excellent public services.

POPSObama's Middle East Imperialism
Also morally questionable is the extension of the Afghanistan war into Pakistan, a bitter pill to swallow for those who once sincerely believed in Obama’s antiwar rhetoric. The house appropriations committee recently approved $2.3 billion in “emergency spending” for “assistance” to Pakistan, most of it for the purpose of making war: training Pakistani “counterinsurgency” forces and police and building a fortified U.S. super embassy. In an attempt to fool the American public about Pakistan, Obama has substituted the always-unpopular ground troops with unmanned drones, stepping up the use of this highly inaccurate form of combat since becoming President and consequently killing hundreds of civilians. Obama has also laid down the law for his puppet presidents in Afghanistan and Pakistan: they will fight his war to the end or be replaced. The recent scene in Washington of these two Presidents declaring “unity and cooperation” with Obama’s war plans was perhaps the most farcical imper

POPSScouts Train to Fight Terrorists, and More From the article: "Many law enforcement officials, particularly those who work for the rapidly growing Border Patrol, part of the Homeland Security Department, have helped shape the program’s focus and see it as preparing the Explorers as potential employees. The Explorer posts are attached to various agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and local police and fire departments, that sponsor them much the way churches sponsor Boy Scout troops. “Our end goal is to create more agents,” said April McKee, a senior Border Patrol agent and mentor at the session here."
