POPSObama, the Mortal "The conventional wisdom is that Obama made a tactical mistake by farming out his agenda to Congress and allowing himself to be pulled left by the doctrinaire liberals of the Democratic congressional leadership. But the idea of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi pulling Obama left is quite ridiculous. Where do you think he came from, this friend of Chávista ex-terrorist William Ayers, of PLO apologist Rashid Khalidi, of racialist inciter Jeremiah Wright?"

POPSObama, the Mortal "...All this while the administration was cutting backroom deals with every manner of special interest -- from drug companies to auto unions to doctors -- in which favors worth billions were quietly and opaquely exchanged. " Yes. Not all Americans are have been hood-wicked or are unaware that his "change" is beyond his ability to practically and Constitutionally implement.

POPS"I Don't Regret Setting Bombs" William Ayers, Obama’s friend, wanted to divide up America among the Communist nations, round up Americans into reeducation camps, and kill 25 million people. That should be horrifying, how the hell did the Weather Underground expect to pull this off? A vast hippie army?

POPSSouth African dockworkers announce ban on Israeli ship The pledge by the South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (SATAWU) members in Durban reflects the commitment by South African workers to refuse to support oppression and exploitation across the globe. Last year, Durban dock workers had refused to offload a shipment of arms that had arrived from China and was destined for Zimbabwe to prop up the Mugabe regime and to intensify the repression against the Zimbabwean people. Now, said SATAWU’s Secretary-General Randall Howard, the union’s members are committing themselves to not handling Israeli goods.

POPSHaaretz: "Why should Hamas recognise Israel?"
Israel's stance against recognizing a Palestinian government composed primarily of Hamas members who do not recognize Israel seems completely understandable. Most of the Palestinian public is not demanding that Hamas recognize Israel. This is what a reliable survey conducted in the territories indicates. The explanation for this is expressed by Hamas spokesmen in every corner, from Rafah to Jenin, and is very accepted in the territories: Look, Yasser Arafat and the PLO recognized the State of Israel in the Oslo agreement and what did they gain from that? Only suffering and misfortune. The economic siege on the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the targeted killings, the raids and checkpoints can be explained as an Israeli defense against terror attacks. But how can one explain the doubling of the number of settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the Madrid conference and Oslo agreement? Since the 1996 elections in Israel, and almost through the end of Ehud Barak's government, there

POPSThe USSR's Role in the Middle East Goes Down the Memory Hole After Israel emerged victorious beyond its wildest dreams in 1967, the influence of the USSR was apparent in several ways. First, the Soviet bloc led an international campaign of boycott and defamation, larded with anti-Semitism, against Israel, creating a siege mentality that has stayed with Israel ever since, and made it that much more difficult to persuade Israel, already traumatized by the Holocaust and the expulsion of Jews from Arab lands, that the "international community" is to be trusted.

POPSMixing It Up With Leftists It’s the same reason they oppose capital punishment. They don’t care about the victims or their loved ones. Any schmuck, after all, can sympathize with innocent people. But it takes a very special kind of individual to hold a candlelight vigil for a monster who had raped and murdered a child. A very special kind, indeed.

POPSRubin: My Friend, the "Neo-Nazi" I could say, I know him, he has been a guest in my home in New York and in my rented house in Provence, he bears absolutely no resemblance to the image these despicable people are trying to project of him, and lot's more. I could point out that I am Jewish and have VISIBLE JEWISH ARTIFACTS IN MY HOME, which did not appear to alarm Rashid, if he even noticed them, but it is all just so ridiculous I don't know what to say.

POPSIs Ali Abunimah Of Electronic Intifada The Source Of Obama/Khalidi Tape???
who told me he read my article and wanted to report on it for the L.A. Times. I agreed, provided that he credit me and/or mention my name and site in the article, to which he agreed. We spoke on the phone at some length. In April, Wallsten wrote the story. Portions of it were lifted from my article. But I was never credited, contrary to Wallsten's promise. Even the Politico said Wallsten plagiarized me. I'm almost positive that the video Wallsten referenced in the story was obtained from Arab American Action Network founder Abunimah because my article--the one Wallsten ripped off from me--featured photos of Barack Obama and wife Michelle seated with PLO advisor Edward Said at another AAAN annual banquet and led Wallsten to contact Abunimah. I noted in my article--from which Wallsten got most of his info--that the pics were from Ali Abunimah's Electronic Intifada site, in which he wrote about Obama's 180 on Israel from those days of AAAN dinners and PLO confabs.

POPSWhy Is The LA Times Refusing To Release Obama~Khalidi Tape? The American people have the right to make an informed choice and this tape is important to understanding who Barack Obama is and what he believes. Release the tape. McCain campaign accuses L.A. Times of 'suppressing' Obama video http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-video29-2008oct29,0,5458024.story In reporting on Obama's presence at the dinner for Khalidi, the article noted that some speakers expressed anger at Israel and at U.S. foreign policy, but that Obama in his comments called for finding common ground. It said that Khalidi in the 1970s often spoke to reporters on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization. Khalidi later lived near Obama while teaching at the University of Chicago. He is now a professor of Arab studies at Columbia University in New York.

POPSLa Times holding back video of Barack So why is the Times sitting on the videotape of the Khalidi festivities? Given Obama's (preposterous) claims that he didn’t know Ayers that well and was unfamiliar with Ayers’s views, why didn't the Times report that Ayers and Dohrn were at the bash? Was it not worth mentioning the remarkable coincidence that both Obama and Ayers — the “education reform” allies who barely know each other … except to the extent they together doled out tens of millions of dollars to Leftist agitators, attacked the criminal justice system, and raved about each others books — just happen to be intimate friends of the same anti-American Israel-basher? (Despite having watched the videotape, Wallsten told Gateway Pundit he “did not know” whether Ayers was there.)

POPSObama, Ayers, Woods Fund, AAAN There's too much here - combined together is William Ayers, a domestic terrorist who didn't believe he didn't go far enough, and Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi a founder of AAAN, who also held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group. Where does Obama's association with terrorism end?

POPSsheer unadulterated insanity-on your dime The government is now financing the PLO. They might as well just start donating to the Holy Land Foundation and send a card to Osama for the hajj (I gather it's that time of year). Silly me, I thought we were at war with Islamic terrorists.
