Buy Anti Cancer Medicines online
emedoutlet
by emedoutlet  1-29-2010
Cancer begins when cells in a part of the body start to grow out of control. There are many kinds of cancer, but they all start because of out-of-control growth of abnormal cells. Instead of dying, cancer cells outlive normal cells and keep forming new abnormal cells. Another difference between cancer cells and normal cells is that cancer cells can invade (grow into) other tissues. Being able to grow out of control and to invade other tissues makes a cell a cancer cell

RULE BY THE RICH
Steve Savage
by Steve Savage  1-28-2010
Paul Craig Roberts, author of this article, was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan administration. Americans are being squeezed out of health care not only by the loss of job benefits, but also by corporate takeover of medical practice from physicians. Today medical doctors are wage slaves of corporate health providers that leverage doctors by turning them into supervisors of physician assistants, lower paid people without medical degrees who perform the services that doctors once provided. As neither doctor nor physician assistant has any independence, there is no one to represent the patient’s care against the profits of the corporation.

(Another) Cancer Cure That Works
jerry23w
by jerry23w  1-27-2010
When there is more money being made from people trying to regain health than anything else, is it any wonder that simple, cheap and highly effective treatments are either not pursued or actively buried by the industry they would destroy? In China in the past, 'physicians' were only paid while their 'patients' were healthy - if they became ill, their doctor had failed in his duty and therefore didnt get paid until they were well again...

Running Doc: Please limit caffeine the morning of a race!
Lexica
by Lexica  1-20-2010
The cases mentioned in the column: * A 33-year-old male running a half-marathon dropped at the 12-mile mark, at 3:10 into his race. The morning of the race, he had drunk two energy drinks and a Starbucks Grande coffee, and used two caffeinated gels. Cardiac catherization revealed a small lesion (less than 20%) but otherwise clean coronaries. * A 42-year-old woman running a marathon dropped at the 24.5-mile mark, 4:10 into her run. She had drunk two large coffees and had three caffeinated gels. Her cardiac cath also showed clean coronaries. * A 26-year-old male also running a marathon dropped at the 25.5-mile mark, 3:25 into his run. He had taken two caffeine pills plus coffee the morning of his race, and also had clean arteries on cardiac cath.

A Foundation of Lies
merrie
by merrie  1-8-2010    1
However, the current Senate version of ObamaCare will cut reimbursements so low that many physicians will simply leave the practice of medicine. Physicians of far less quality will generally replace these physicians. Other physicians will stop seeing Medicare and Medicaid patients or significantly limit the numbers of such patients they will see. Now both the House and Senate versions of ObamaCare have an “individual mandate” forcing people to purchase health insurance. Forcing people to buy health insurance is probably unconstitutional. Putting poor people in jail, or fining them, for not having health insurance is demonstrable of the “compassion” of Obama, his Chicago Thugs, and the Progressive Democrats. Barack Obama promised he would impose no new taxes on people making less than $250,000 a year. Few people now believe this. Both versions of ObamaCare are loaded with taxes on everything from the higher quality health insurance policies .....

MYJ | Back to COH tomorrow for IVIG
altaloman
by altaloman  1-5-2010
What is IVIG? My COH physicians have determined that I need a booster dose of immunoglobulins (aka IVIG), so that infusion is scheduled for about 5-6 hours tomorrow. Here is some background on the procedure to be followed on Friday by a separate (similar duration) infusion of the miracle substance called Rituxan that is also an immune system enhancer. Even though we are still in remission officially from the lymphoma following the radiation (TomoTherapy) treatment in September, these infusions are designed to help my immune system prevent any return of the disease and to aid in other preventions of sickness. All things considered, I have been significantly well since the start of my medical leave at the end of August, or at least since the completion of the radiation treatment. Just being cancer free is a big part of that positive status report. ___ http://google.twi.bz/hv ___ http://google.twi.bz/As ___ http://altacities.com ___ http://me.twi.bz/y

The Oxygen Dilemma: Can Too Much O2 Kill?
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  1-5-2010    5
I've been hearing some climate change skeptics use the argument, that CO2 is a benign gas and therefore can cause no harm to the environment. I clipped this article, to highlight, that whether or not a substance is "benign" or not, or natural, is not the issue. It's the disruption of BALANCE and concentration of various chemicals, that is the issue. Table salt is pretty non-toxic, but concentrations in the body beyond the mere 0.9 percent can kill you, which is why you'd die of dehydration if you drank sea water. We can all agree, that ordinary drinking water is probably the most benign substance we know, yet if you drink too much of it, it can kill you, too. Climate change is about the disruption of the balance of nature, not about the *toxicity* of the chemicals involved, in itself, so THIS particular argument used by skeptics is not valid. Just sayin'...

Arizona Mayo Clinic No Longer Accepting Medicare Patients
Eaglewings
by Eaglewings  1-3-2010
What good health insurance if it will not PURCHASE CARE? You see dimwits, there is a big difference to HEALTH insurance and health care. MOST reputable insurers PAY doctors and hospitals for the care they provide. THE US GOVERNMENT does not. They cheat doctors and hospitals out of billions of dollars each and every year and call it a WELL RUN PROGRAM! To a freeloader this may sound great, after all they reason as long as I do not have to pay who cares. Well those of us stuck paying the bill care and to these Arizona Seniors I bet they care now too.

ObamaCare's Rationed Death and The Death of Representative Republic
merrie
by merrie  12-26-2009    2
..... and the parties who are going to be assaulted first are the elderly who will be denied care in nursing homes, hospices and doctors visits and told to just go climb on an ice sheet and float to their death for the good of the village as the Inuit's did long ago. That is what awaits Americans as every American is going to need care sooner or later, and for those who think that the rich will get care, the patricians had better learn a lesson of fact, that when the system breaks down, as government is bankrupt, then places like the Mayo Clinic are not developing advanced treatments for the rich, and the rich people find out in 5 years that they too are being left to die. Americans will now be made criminals in not paying into this butcher system and this blogger will refuse to be a part of any system as this. Oddly if Keith Olbermann holds his moral ground, we will be in an Obama concentration camp charged with the same crimes of failure to hand over our money to a

CBO Says Dems Are Using Accounting Trick To Claim Medicare "Savings"
merrie

It's a little disappointing, really. At the rate that Democratic politicians were generating ever-more-spectacular budget savings from the same old set of health care proposals, I had expected our looming fiscal problems to be permanently resolved by this time next week. From TheAtlantic - shaping the national debate on the most critical issues of our times, from politics, business, and the economy, to technology, arts, and culture.
