POPSObamas Phony Healthcare Horror Stories
Beaton did not lose her insurance because she failed to own up to a skin problem in her past. She lost it because, when enrolling in the plan, she had not reported a previous heart condition and did not list her weight accurately. Obama tells stories of real-life hardships repeatedly, in his speech to a joint session of Congress, during interviews, and at the citizen meetings he has appeared at across the country to generate support for his campaign to rework medical insurance. Beaton's case is just one of the examples Obama cites that mixes fact with fiction. In reflexively blaming insurance companies, Obama is playing into fears that have become a frightening reality for many Americans. Health insurance is not always the rock-solid guarantee you think you're paying for. Especially, it turns out, when you don't fill everything out just right. In Beaton's case, the insurance company opened an investigation after her visit to a dermatologist and just before her scheduled bre

POPSThe Media Lies, on Purpose This site shows 101 examples of blatant mainstream media lying, fabrication, and misrepresentation. I now trust the media about the same as I would an aluminum siding TV ad.

POPSChemTrails? Has Anyone Seen These? Please report your experiences. I am curious to know. I have pretty much dismissed the stories and the 2 hour talk show guests going on about how they've tested the "drippings"from these things and the overflowing emergency rooms after the sky is filled. I just don't know, but I would sure give it notice if anyone comments right here that they have seen what is - WITHOUT DOUBT - something that cannot be confused with normal jet contrails.

POPSPHONEY LIMBAUGH on PHONEY SOLDIERS - the man is SICK!
Rush Limbaugh still getting kid-glove treatment on FOXNews.com (WHAT ELSE IS NEW) Reported by Chrish - September 28, 2007 - As noted this morning, FOXNews.com was not covering the story of Rush Limbaugh's insulting comment, calling some US troops who criticize the Iraq war or call for an end to it "phony soldiers" who show up "out of the blue." Read full background at MediaMatters.org. As of 7pm EDT there are two links to stories on the FOX webpage, but note that although they are titled differently and have seperate links, they are the same AP story and are entitled to shift focus to Democrats: Dems Criticize Limbaugh's Comments and Democrats Criticize Rush Limbaugh's 'Phony Soldiers' Remark. Seeing as this is Friday night, fully expect FOX to ignore all weekend (no special on this one!) and dismiss as old news by Monday, unlike with the MoveOn ad, when there was round-the-clock outrage for two weeks with a weekend special to keep the story alive.

POPSThe Front Man - For those who backed him. Where this column leads is back to my old Republican friends.. who have so dutifully voted for Craig for over a quarter of a century. I would ask them not to obsess over Craig's homosexuality or even Craig's hypocrisy. Instead, I would ask them to consider the rest of Idaho's Republican leadership, the people who have thumped the drum of "family values" so incessantly. I would ask them to wonder if there is a chance in hell those leaders.. didn't know about this. Think it over. If lowly Democrats—who don't travel in Craig circles—have known about it for decades, how is it possible that the highest Republicans—who do travel in Craig circles—couldn't have? And if they did (as I know in my bones to be true), doesn't that make them about the most cynical, manipulating, fake-ass, scheming pack of phony bastards you ever heard of? Doesn't that make the "family values" slate nothing more than a scam to run until they get caught?

POPSClean up "voter fraud" All you Rush Limbaugh fans who are convinced that the Demon Democrats don't want to clean up so called "voter fraud" are just following the script set up by Republicans to strip legitimate voters from the ballot box. Very un-American of you.
