PETA: Vegetarianism for Sexist Assholes
Lexica
by Lexica  10-23-2009    1
More: You will undoubtedly be 100% unsurprised to learn that there are no videos or national tour featuring Rav, Paul and Ricardo making out with each other in their underwear to promote a healthier, planet-friendly lifestyle. That would be gay, and in its desperation to connect vegetarianism with priapistic heterosexuality, this site makes it very clear that vegetarianism is not for fags. In fact, there aren’t any other pictures of the Broccoli Boys…just their little bio sketches so we don’t miss the important point that they, unlike the Lettuce Ladies, are people. Any other treatment would, of course, violate Patriarchy’s First Law – you don’t treat guys like mindless dick-receptacles, because that’s what the ladies are for!

PETA's dirty secrets: 7 things you didn't know about PETA
Lexica
by Lexica  10-13-2009    3
More: regularly target children as young as six years old with anti-meat and anti-milk propaganda, often waiting outside their schools to intercept them as they walk to and from class-without notifying parents.… PETA…fund the misnamed Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), a deceptive animal rights group that promotes itself as an unbiased source of medical and nutritional information… PETA…billboards taunt Christians with the message that hogs "died for their sins."…And its infamous "Holocaust on Your Plate" campaign crassly compares the Jewish victims of Nazi genocide with farm animals. PETA has repeatedly attacked research foundations like the March of Dimes, the Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, because they support animal-based research that might uncover cures for birth defects and life-threatening diseases…president Ingrid Newkirk has said that "even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it."

Corporate Dirty Work (or Big Fat Lies Exposed)
JackieDel
by JackieDel  10-12-2009
Peta kills animals. Mercury in fish is not a problem. Increasing wages of the lowest paid will harm America. Trans fats and sugars are good for you. Junk food is good for you. Climate change not a problem. The Washington Tea Baggers protest grew out of a grass roots movement: American corporate spin, aided and abetted by Rick Berman and exposed by Maddow. Brilliant!

Barack Obama: "Yes, I hunted and killed Bigfoot!"
foxyarse
by foxyarse  10-9-2009
To sum things up for the media, his press secretary said, "Look, Barack Obama is for everything this week!" When quiried abot the actual killing of the elusive Bigfoot and where the actual body was, Mr. Obama claims he really didn't 'kill' the Yeti, but wounded him in the arm. He tearfuly expressed his sorrow for wounding the beast as a camera crew from PETA caught the tearful confession. When the animal extremist crew left, Obama turned his attention to the reporters who were setting up to record his hunting statements. Reporters pressed him for more details about his hunting exploits. Questions ranged from..."Where did you hunt in Chicago?" to... "What caliber bullets he used in his shotgun?" Mr. Obama stumbled on the last question and had to ask an aide "what a shotgun was". The aide hastily pulled out a Bass-Pro hunting catalog flyer and showed him a picture of a kid's Daisy BB gun, which the smiling Barack 'Barry' Obama confidently pointed to as the type of weapon he s

PETA Plans to Turn VA. Prison into 'Chicken Empathy Museum'
infidel70
by infidel70  9-17-2009
Other features outlined in PETA's proposal for the Chicken Empathy Museum include an interactive display where visitors can lug heavy, 150-pound backpacks in order to simulate the pain of disproportional weight on chickens' upper bodies and a restaurant serving faux-chicken drumsticks and chickenless pot pie. Additionally, the proposal mentions plans for a gift shop where kids aged 12 and under would be provided free plush chickens with tags reading, "I Am Not a Nugget!"

Boycott PETA, Not Michael Vick
GlennFrancoSimmons
by GlennFrancoSimmons  8-15-2009
Showing it has no class and will stop short of no immoral act, PETA continues to equate cruelty that includes the killing of animals to The Holocaust. PETA forced its 2003 "Holocaust on your Plate" exhibition that juxtaposed human Holocaust victim images with images of factory farming. I don't care if it was a Jewish man who lost relatives in The Holocaust who created the exhibit. That fact does not make him infallible, nor does it justify a repulsive comparison. It only shows PETA's moral low ground. And it shows unfortunately the waywardness of the Jewish man who was exploited by PETA. Plus, many Jewish organizations and Jews feel the same way I do.

The EU Takes a Stand for Seals Seals around the world are throwing up their flippers in celebration — the European Parliament voted today (2009-05-05) to end the sale of seal products across the European Union (EU)! This vote adds to the pressure on Canada to end the seal slaughter. It shows that the EU Parliament recognizes the inhumanity of the annual massacre. The ban will undoubtedly deal a strong blow to sealers' profits — and that, in turn, will result in less blood on the ice. The EU's decision is in line with the wishes of the majority of European citizens and all good people across the globe, including, of course, all Canadian citizens who are ashamed that their country is party to the bloody seal slaughter. Eyes now turn to the Canadian government: It has threatened to challenge the EU ban on trade in seal products at the World Trade Organization. blog.peta.org

PETA Wants Obama to Stop Killing Flies, But Won’t Take a Stand on Abortion

Continued from article: “You know, really, the only reason we actually sent him the fly swatter, I’m sorry, the fly catcher, was that so many people had contacted us from the media after this happened and asked if we were going to have any response,” Byrnes said. “And so, we really just sent it just as something helpful that he could use if he wanted an alternative to doing it next time.”

Fishing Cat Would Rather be Fishing in Sri Lanka
clip-on-tie
by clip-on-tie  7-5-2009    2
According to wikipidiot: "The Fishing Cat (Prionailurus viverrinus) is a medium-sized cat whose disjunct global range extends from eastern Pakistan through portions of India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, throughout Bangladesh and Mainland Southeast Asia to Sumatra and Java. Its fur has an olive-grey color with dark spots arranged stripe-like running along the length of the body. The face has a distinctly flat-nosed appearance. The size varies between locations. While Indian specimens grow to 80 cm (32 in) plus 30 cm (12 in) tail, Indonesian fishing cats only reach 65 cm (26 in) plus 25 cm (10 in) tail. Indian individuals weigh up to 11.7 kg (26 lbs), while in Indonesia adult fishing cats weigh in at up to approximately 6 kg (13 lbs). They are stocky of build with medium short legs, and a short muscular tail of one half to one third of the length of the rest of the animal. Like its closest relative, the Leopard Cat, the Fishing Cat lives along rivers, brooks and mangrove swamps.

PETA being pathetic
darkeforce
by darkeforce  6-19-2009    1
So PETA has released an official statement condemning Obama swatting a fly on the air. How pathetic can you get. There is no shortage of flies in the world. Even if everyone who saw that interview was inspired to go out and kill 100 flies, it still wouldn't have any significant impact on the fly population. But I suppose PETA as a pathetic joke is better than their usual role as terrorists. PETA has murdered people, just because they have used animals in research. The use of animal testing has saved countless lives, and significantly improved our quality of life. Do stop it would mean that we would have to turn to human testing, which is much more unethical than using animals. Despite what PETA tries to tell you, the vast majority of places that use animals for medical experimentation treat them ethically. PETA is spending money on nonsense, wasting funds that could be better spent on saving human lives. The next time you have money to give to charity, if you're thinking of g

Live Cats Used in College Medical Training
Rustee
by Rustee  5-18-2009    1
The school could easily adopt better, more humane training methods, a PETA spokeswoman said. Most universities use human-like manikins instead of animals to practice life-saving procedures, PETA Research Associate Ian Smith said. PETA studied medical training methods at hundreds of universities, Smith said, and TTUHSC is the only one he is aware of that still uses cats, he said.
