POPSCut To Part Time Well, let's see; us Americans are great innovators but we are running out of options. The good paying full time jobs are a thing of the past. It used to be that a college education would get your somewhere. Most people have at least 2 part time jobs. Our money just isn't going as far as it used to. I thinky it might be time for change.

POPSThe 10 Most Worthless College Majors Philosophy Why It Won’t Help You Get a Job: This isn’t ancient Greece: No one is going to pay you money, or allow you to sodomize their attractive son, in exchange for your knowledge of existence. Never has there been an employer who’s said “Man, we’re having all kinds of problems, I wish we had someone on our team who could reference and draw conclusions from the story of Siddhartha that would pull up our fourth quarter numbers.” I took many philosophy classes and it involved reading and smoking a shit pile of weed. You don’t need to pay 20,000 dollars a year to do that. All you need is twenty dollars and a library card. What Job You’ll End Up With: Thanks to your extensive knowledge of philosophy, you’re now self-aware enough to know that most jobs out there will make you totally miserable. So most likely you’ll wait tables part time and hope someone starts paying you for the bi-monthly entries on your blog.

POPSPart time MP's
Why has Andrew Alexander tried to steal my thunder? Convincing the public that if an MP writes to the local Health Authority, he/she is only doing their duty is remarkable. What makes matters worse is if, as in Blackpool, you have ineffectual Parliamentary representation, it is compounded by totally useless councillors. Much of the problem solving is local and should be undertaken by Councillors. Not so long ago,a former serviceman was working but could not find affordable accommodation. It took three years of pestering and cajoling before the Council could find habitable space for this disabled person, injured in the line of duty. Yet all around, DSS fraudsters duped the system and lived purely by their own rules. Couples open co-habitat at the tax payers expense. If you complain you are hit with the homophobia/race card. How come health young lesbians can afford taxis for every journey when truly disabled people have to use a bus pass? And anyone who had ventured down Hors

POPSJapan's Booming Sex Niche: Elder Porn Any entrepreneurs here in the west, might take a lesson from the Japanese business world. Instead of paying our elderly their measly social security payments, perhaps we could offer them jobs in the porn industry. The money is great, and they can work mostly on their backs.

POPSGender can cost you in individual health insurance "Perhaps this is partly because women are more likely to seek preventive care, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. But this should make them better insurance risks. After all, they're proactively working to stay healthy. And isn't that exactly what insurers encourage people to do? "It doesn't make any sense," said Alice Wolfson of United Policyholders, a San Francisco-based advocacy group. "The insurers aren't assessing risk. They're assessing how much healthcare is used, even when it's preventive treatment." A spokesman for the California Department of Insurance said there were no regulations preventing gender-based pricing for individual policies."
