Sarah's Straight Talk
debbyski

"Perhaps there is some new and interesting scandal that Palin has yet to let us in on. (If so, I hope it involves a soul mate.) Otherwise, it would appear that this is all about her desire to start raising money and setting up operations for a presidential run in 2012 So if she’s starting to run, it will be as the same reporter-avoiding, generalization-spouting underachiever that she was last time around. Now we know she not only doesn’t have the concentration to read a policy paper, she can’t focus long enough to finish the job she was hired to do."

Did an embezzlement scandal force Palin to resign?
disenchantedcitizen
by disenchantedcitizen  7-4-2009    5
Alaska bloggers have reported in recent weeks that “a long simmering embezzlement/IRS scandal is still being looked at by the feds.” In her press conference today, Palin asked the public to “trust me with this decision and know that it is no more politics as usual.” She’s right about one thing, stepping down is in the best interest of Alaska.

The Best Moral Practices of a Leader
onlinedesign

I came a cross this article about a SC school superintendent who got pregnant out of wedlock during her watch over a school system that has tremendous problems with teen pregnancy. Some wanted her resignation. Others championed her defense. If that incident leads to some to shout, "Credibility Lost - you don't have the right to lead" - then what of a Vice President, potential Leader of the Free World, not being able to manage her own Family, and producing a pregnant teenager? How can you raise up a Nation when you cannot even raise up and protect your own children? Well, teenagers are sneaky and have a mind of their own. Perhaps US Gov. Palin, the Mother of FIVE kids ought to hire a nanny to watch her kids since she cannot supervise and protect her own brood. Why is it okay to add yet another teen pregnanacy to our Nation's ills? Should all officials in high office be expected to lead by example? Are these just old fashioned ideals of the past? When did we lower

Once Elected, Palin Hired Friends and Lashed Foes

Real Estate Agent as top of the State Division of Agriculture? Sounds a heckuva lot like "Your doin a fine job brownie". Of course that was when another rebubbacan, George Bush, appointed Michael Brown head of FEMA, our governments emergency response division to natural disasters and other emergencies. What was Michael Brown's qualifications? Before joining the DHS/FEMA, Brown was the Judges and Stewards Commissioner for the International Arabian Horse Association, (IAHA), from 1989-2001. After numerous lawsuits were filed against the organization over disciplinary actions , Brown was forced to resign Interviews show that Ms. Palin runs an administration that puts a premium on loyalty and secrecy. The governor and her top officials sometimes use personal e-mail accounts for state business; dozens of e-mail messages obtained by The New York Times show that her staff members studied whether that could allow them to circumvent subpoenas seeking public records.
