POPSApril Fool's Prank: Machine Guns Legal Again I blogged yesterday about Eric Thompson (of thegunsource.com) and the April Fool’s Prank he played on people who subscribe to his mailing list. Well, Eric left me a note in the comments of that post, which was really the cherry on the perfect sundae of prank: t worked a little too well. Our servers got crushed and I received a call from the ATF DC office stating that they didn’t find it “that funny” considering all the calls they are getting. I love that people were fooled enough by the prank to actually go an call the ATF to verify the news. I literally laughed so hard I almost cried when I was reading that. Anything that causes grief for the pencil pushers at ATF is okay with me. Well played Eric, well played indeed. humor Even Funnier Now April 2, 2009
