POPSGTD Toolbox: 100+ Resources for Getting Things Done folks, I have tried a simple and elegant tool which I like more than any other thicker tool that I have tried. MonkeyGTD - awesome features - built on TiddlyWiki - works from my USB (also known as an extension of my body) - and preserves the original elegance (terminology, philosophy, etc) of GTD. Frankly I love it. check it out... It's way better than many/most of the ones listed here. well - RTM does come close with it's gears based version - and I really love the way it parses dates intelligently - but that's more a task manager function than a GTD function. But if you ask me to pick , I will choose MonkeyGTD! (though, I need to admit, the learning curve is more for MonkeyGTD if you havenot used a tiddly before)

POPSEnergy Secretary Hasn’t Got a Clue What US Energy Policy Is But at least he paid his taxes! Mr. Chu said Thursday he feels “like I’ve been dumped into the deep end of the pool” in confronting questions about oil policy, such as whether the administration would consider delaying scheduled deliveries of oil this spring to the nation’s strategic petroleum reserves. Mr. Chu is still without a deputy, and the administration has yet to nominate people to fill other high-level Energy Department posts, reflecting a broader challenge the administration faces staffing up cabinet departments to handle an array of initiatives called for by President Barack Obama. Have you ever heard anything so absurd? This is the cabinet officer charged with implementing Obama’s energy policy and the man is totally clueless as to what that policy is. POPSSteven Chu Surprised to Learn He's in Charge of Oil Policy Yikes. As Obama focuses on things other than energy, notice gasoline prices inching higher. How long until they're back over $4? Better get building nuclear power plants and converting the federal vehicle fleet to use natural gas, Mr. President. Sure, you can talk about windmills and solar panels out on your speaking stops. But lets make sure that we're doing something serious about our energy needs, okay?

POPSThou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Him The bill includes $20 billion for school “modernization, renovation or repair of facilities” – with $14 billion for elementary and secondary schools and $6 billion for higher education, which includes the secular string attached. What exactly is “a substantial portion”? If an organization lets the scouts meet in their facility, will they no longer be able to use government money to fix their building? It’s simple, really. You grow the public sector, shrink the private sector, and fund only what you deem ideologically sanitary.

POPSLiars for Christ The not surprising survey by the Baptist funded Baylor University which shows religion holding its own is shown to be more of a propoganda screed than a scientific survey. This does not reflect well on a well known "institute of higher learning" such as Baylor. Particularly when the biased survey is so easily refuted. It kind of reminds me of the past administration. Tell a lie often enough and you can get a sizable number of people to start to believe it.
