POPSFeedscrub -- filter your feeds A "trainable" filter for your RSS feeds. Free account does not allow import of OPML files, so its usefulness is a little limited. FeedHub does something similar.

POPSAttention profiling.... nice discussion about privacy and identity Attention profiling is making profiles based on someone's online activities (comments, blogs, music, bookmarks, etc.). Nowadays, this information is usually not available for the user hem/herself, but stored and analyzed by a private organization who can do whatever it wants to do (like adverstisements: Google). APML is a standard that these websites can implement, making the profiles available for the user to be used according to the user's wishes. Great idea, and I believe in it, but this interesting post, and very interesting discussion, is more than a year old, and since then not much is heard of the mentioned initiatives and companies working with APML. Any ideas or suggestions why this is so?

POPSFeedBlendr - Feed Remix Service FeedBlendr is a web service that lets you remix your feeds. It has just launched the public beta of its second version. At first glance FeedBlendr does not appear to have a lot of bells and whistles, but it is an interesting and intelligent service that lets you easily remix many kinds of RSS feeds. And after closer examination, we can see that developer Beau Lebens has put a lot of love into the site.

POPSDailyRotation It's sort of mad, but somehow good for a mass overview of all current stories, by using the mouse to sweep over the headlines. Great list of technically-focussed feeds. Other than that, zero features - eg no OPML in/out, you'd have to paste your own feeds in.

POPSMonitorThis: rss keyword feeds on steroids I'm in love. Oh yes, with a search engine, but not just any search engine. This search engine will sign me up for 22 different search engine feeds (listed below) in one click. All I had to do is enter my search term, import the .opml file into my FeedDemon and snap, signed-up to receive updates on my selected keywords from 22 different search engines, wow that was easy. I dont know about anyone else reading but I have been spending endless amounts of times signing up for keyword searches on various search engines like feedster, ice rocket, google blog search, etc. I would always dread having to do this task. But now, new client... new project... no problem

POPSOPML Workstation: create & host collaborative "folios" I haven't really figured out what this does, yet. However, it seems that it allows you to build and host multiple freeform OPML files at their site. If that's true, it could be extremely handy for building academic websites. See also http://iJot.net
