POPSWill Tone of MSNBC Change w/Comcast Merger? I have a pretty basic Comcast package and ever since I heard people complaining that they removed the MEssNBC, I found it up on stn.#128, away from the more "regular" channels, so I'd advise one to scan their sets, you may still have it. (I can't believe I'm helping anyone find the thing;-) Anyway, I think it would be too obvious for Comcast to make it any more scarce. Maybe it's just as well to keep those nutjobs (Olbermann, Matthews, Maddow, etc.) all in one place where they think they've really got something goin' on. Otherwise who knows what kind of hell they'd raise with their whining.

POPS Keith Olbermann Helps Raiise $1.2 Million For Free Health Care Clinics
Wednesday night on "Countdown," Olbermann announced that, thanks to the generosity of "Countdown" viewers, a health fair would take place in New Orleans on November 14. This is on top of health fairs already planned for November 9-10 in Kansas City and November 21 in Little Rock. How did this idea come about? "We were looking for something to relieve the frustration so many people felt," Olbermann told the Huffington Post. "I thought of an insurance strike, but insurrectionist as that might sound, it would endanger lives. So Rich Stockwell, one of my Senior Producers, suggested that the Free Health Clinics group turns every dollar donated into five in services. Thus if we helped them stage clinics in the key cities, we'd get help to thousands of people, we'd relieve that sense of near-paralysis, and we might even put some pressure on those Democratic Senators who won't even commit to precluding a filibuster. So this one was Rich's."

POPSOlbermanic Stuck In The Jaws of Coulter The Bush campaign commercial about Dukakis' furlough program never showed a picture of Horton. In fact, the actors playing "criminals" passing through a revolving door in the ad were all white. -- Voters considered it relevant that a candidate for president was so beholden to the ACLU that he backed an idiotic furlough program that released first-degree murderers. And yet in Keith Olbermann's discussion of Bush's allegedly vile, racist use of Willie Horton, he used a phony version of the ad, doctored to include a photo of Horton. in fairness to Keith, he's never been a "content guy." He was a communications major. (The agriculture school Keith attended offered a degree in this field.) He lifts the material for his show from liberal blogs, overwrites it, and throws in his trademark smirking and snorts. But that's all he does because, again, he was a communications major.

POPSTrying to create a giant bureaucracy is now a “fight against death” In Olbermann’s fight against death, death won and claimed his audience’s brain cells. A "fight against death." I guess that’s kind of like how sorting out your bottles and cans from the trash is “saving the world.” Note to Liberals: There are actual big problems that could use solving, like Iran getting nukes and keeping the Taliban from taking over in Afghanistan. If that’s too big for you, you can help the needy with your own time and money. I know things that don’t result in a bigger government pushing people around don’t tend to interest you, but give it your consideration, please.

POPSIt's the fight against death. Having empathy and concern for others can be a misfortune because there is so little one can do to help the forgotten ones. That's the way the Insurance Industry would like those who can't afford their high premiums to become... FORGOTTEN. It's only people with a platform such as Mr. Olbermann, who can bring to light the outrageous greed in this country where bottom-line is more revered than humaneness. I guess if they could just get rid of those who can't line their pockets, they would do so but since we are a nation of laws all they can do is lie, mislead and spend exuberant amounts of money lobbying their status quo. Thank all that is good, for Keith Olbermann, he is the guiding light to benevolent thinking of which we all, Conservatives and Liberals alike, can follow, if you happen to possess a heart. He truly is A VOICE OF REASON. thinkingblue View the whole segment here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33213245/

POPSMichael Moore Fails to Call Out Keith Olbermann’s Hypocrisy Despite calls to put his money where his mouth is and return his own bonus, Olbermann has remained silent. And while Moore is usually so quick to attack anyone benefiting from government-backed corporate profits, he didn’t even mention his host’s own hypocrisy. You see, to guys like Moore and Olbermann, it’s perfectly okay to make millions from taxpayers and capitalism, so long as it’s their bank account getting filled with the cash.

POPSThose Racist Posters I really have to work hard to remember all the media handwringing at what was being said in the previous 8 years. Because there wasn't any.

POPSBeck has moved to #2 He is on in the FREAKIN DAYTIME, People. The Nation is seeking this message. They are looking for a way forward. Beck is providing it. The march on Washington today is a historic event, ignored by ALL media except FOX. This is a good thing. The fact that the media have ignored this serves to provide the greatest legitimacy and need for action. Decency will prevail! Democrats are coming to the table to beat back this insane corruption. Czars, Pro-Chavez, fascistic, anti-constitution, anti-free speech, pro sex slave supporting ACORN, Pro-STORM communist front, Pro thuggish, brownshirting SEIU, Pro Marxist black-lib theology, pro-population contol, pro death panel, etc…..

POPSWorld's worst Person, Joe Wilson Thanks Joe W., for disgracing yourself and the U.S.in front of the whole world. And...you are the liar. Of course, The retard Karl Rove thought this was funny, as well as the opportunity to attack Sen Ted Kennedy on the day of his funeral.

POPS14 Liberal Lies About National Healthcare Another great trigger idea: We get to pull Keith Olbermann's hair to see if it's a toupee -- but only when triggered by his laughably claiming to have gone to an Ivy League university, rather than the bovine management school he actually attended.

POPSGlenn Beck, anti-communist art critic? More: Fair enough. That’s cable television for you. On to a bigger question: Does Beck know what he’s talking about? Absolutely not, says Christopher Knight, an art critic (a real one) for the Los Angeles Times. Beck was as “nutty as usual,” Knight wrote: He pointed to a portrait of Lenin in Mexican master Diego Rivera’s destroyed Rockefeller lobby mural, “Man at the Crossroads,” but forgot to mention that old John D. had the mural removed because of it. (Facts are stubborn things — even more stubborn than demagoguery.) With comedy stylings like that, Beck is turning out to be the Harold Harby of our day. Who was Harold Harby? A Los Angeles city councilman in the early 1950s, Harby took up propaganda-arms with a paranoid group of right-wing loonies called the Society for Sanity in Art. They made it their patriotic duty to search out Communist symbols they just knew were hidden in that weird, postwar abstract art.

POPSKeith Olbermanic Foaming at the Mouth Just doesn't get any more true than this: "Beck has done something with his audience. He’s turned them into engaged ( and informed, may I add ) activists, while Olbermann is dumbing down his audience and treating the rest of America like Janet Leigh in the shower." I have no hope for anyone who watches Olbermann. Truly the idiots among us.

POPSI wonder i watched 3 clips on running down fox news program host. this why their ratings are so low.
