POPSJingoistic Conservative Talk Show Hosts Are Vile Conservatives who lambaste liberal media bias need to be as honest when conservative media bias occurs, especially when it occurs by conservatives resorting to the worst vitriol, the most-vile of stereotypes. Please read this article and give me your opinions. Thank you.

POPS Fallen Angels: Octomother Sacks Nurses Angels in Waiting had initially offered to provide around-the-clock care, to be paid for by public donations, but later scaled back its offer to only provide training to Suleman's nannies. Suleman has said the offer was changed because the group was not receiving donations, but Allred has denied that claim. Czech said that Suleman would have her nannies trained by nurses from the Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Centre, where the octuplets were born on January 26. Kaiser spokesman Jim Anderson said the hospital sends out home health nurses to provide training and guidance to new mothers, and at least two such visits have been made to the Suleman home. The services are covered through Suleman's insurance policy, Anderson said. Four of the octuplets are home from the hospital, and Suleman has six other children.

POPSOcto-Mom and Personal Responsibility We have latched on to Suleman, I think, because it is easier and more comforting to criticize her for a feat of careless hubris than it is to deal directly with our own feats of the same.

POPSOctuplet "Dad" Shows Up He claims he dated Nadya Suleman for three years and he could be the biological father of Nadya Suleman’s octuplets. Denis Beaudoin told Chris Cuomo in an exclusive interview with "Good Morning America” that he donated his sperm to Nadya Suleman three times without asking questions because he was young and in love. Beaudoin said he thought it was "out of the ordinary" when she asked him to donate. "But I cared about her so much. And I mean, we were, we were in love. I mean, I loved Nadya very much," he stated.

POPSHospital Has More Sense Than Mother I can only add my thank God to that of countless others. The hospital is apparently not going to release the octuplets to their mother until or unless she proves that she can take care of them.

POPSEthical Concerns Over Octuplets Privacy concerns are important in our society and should be honestly and openly addressed. Yet, this ongoing story concerning the birth of octuplets to an unemployed woman already with 6 children seem beyond the pale. IMO, there exist serious questions concerning this woman's sanity. Her fertility doctors collusion with her in this latest endeavor raise obvious questions about the ethics of all involved.

POPSFertility Experts Question Medical Ethics of Transferring Embryos to California Mom "On Feb. 6, the Medical Board of California announced plans to investigate the fertility doctor who treated Suleman. The board did not identify the doctor, but the Today show identified the clinic as the West Coast IVF Clinic in Beverly Hills, Calif. "I am deeply disappointed that any fertility clinic in the United States, or anywhere, would do this," says Colorado reproductive endocrinologist Eric Surrey, MD, who is a past president of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART)." The eight California babies are all breathing on their own, which is a very good sign, but they were a full 10 weeks early at the time of their birth and weighed between 1.8 and 3.4 pounds. "Multiple-birth experts say it may be years before the extent of their medical issues are known."

POPSParents of 18 wonder how octuplet mom will cope Jim Bob Duggar: Yeah, I think it's a full-time job just taking care of the children while they're young. Maybe 10 years from now when the kids are 10 years old, that might be an option. But when they're all small, I think there's a lot of needs. And so, I think, she'll have her hands full. As I know when we had seven that were 7 and under, it was a very busy time.

POPSAngelina Jolie 'Creeped Out' By Octuplets Mother . . . . . . . after receiving letters from her - and hearing rumours of her plastic surgery The source was quoted as saying: 'It is clear this woman needs psychological help." Suleman has set up a website to solicit donations for her super-sized brood after controversy over their birth two weeks ago appears to have put many sponsors off. Friends of Suleman, who already had six children before giving birth to a further eight, said she had altered her appearance to look like Jolie - who herself has six children.

POPSOctuplets' IVF Doctor Strikes Again... She is five months pregnant and does not have insurance - a fact that could leave her paying thousands in medical bills under America's private healthcare system. She has been confined to bed rest in an LA hospital until she gives birth, expected in three or four months. Though she refused to confirm that Dr Kamrava was her doctor, the Los Angeles Times claimed it had confirmed the information with hospital sources. 'I do think it is concerning, and dangerous, especially to the mother,' Dr. John Jain, a fertility specialist with knowledge of the case, told the LATimes.

POPSPoll: Too Much Coverage of Phelps, Octuplets They dumb down the news content until it is infotainment instead of information. Then they blame the dumbing down on the audience saying it's what we want, in spite of the fact that the audience actually craves information, not crap.

POPSState will pay for Octuplets These children should be seized. Deliberately having yourself impregnated with octuplets, while unemployed, single and on the dole, is clearly a sign of some kind of mental instability. The doctor responsible should be punished.

POPS"Nadya's Not Capable Of Raising Fourteen Children" Angela told RadarOnline.com that Nadya turned her boyfriend into a sperm donor for all 14 kids, but refused to marry him. "He was in love with her and wanted to marry her," said Angela. "But Nadya wanted to have children on her own." Nadya was so determined to have children, she first became pregnant at 16, Angela told RadarOnline.com. She miscarried, said Angela, and discovered she had blocked fallopian tubes. Angela said that she and Nadya's father, Ed, begged one doctor not to implant any more embryos in Nadya, who already had six children. But Nadya found another doctor to implant six embryos, and two split, resulting in eight more babies. That doctor's decision to perform the in vitro has left the octuplets grandmother furious. "I'm really angry about that," she told RadarOnline.com. Angela also voiced her anger over Nadya's claim she was raised in a dysfunctional family and was lonely as a child.

POPSBest Way To Ensure Catastrophe Is To “Act Now” Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, and Harry Reid. Appearing on The Rush Limbaugh Show last week, I got a little muddled over two adjoining newspaper clippings—one on the stimulus, the other on those octuplets in California — and for a brief moment the two stories converged. Everyone’s hammering that mom—she’s divorced, unemployed, living in a small house with parents who have a million bucks’ worth of debt, and she’s already got six kids. So she has in vitro fertilization to have eight more. But isn’t that exactly what the Feds have done? Last fall, they gave birth to an $850 billion bailout they couldn’t afford and didn’t have enough time to keep an eye on, and now four months later they’re going to do it all over again, but this time they want trillionuplets. Barney and Nancy represent the in vitro fertilization of the federal budget. And it’s the taxpayers who’ll get stuck with the diapers. by mark steyn

POPSTalking Heads Resort To Repugnant Demagogic Attacks On Octuplets' Mother Anyone in media making prejudicial and racist comments should be taken to task by other media, but don't expect that to happen. Why? Because media fail to do what the Society of Professional Journalists' (I belong to SPJ) Code of Ethics tells them to do: "Expose unethical practices of journalists and the news media." As American and foreign media carried sensational headlines, the lives of these babies were held in the balance, and only one talk-show host got it right, and that was Mike Gallagher, who said that each of those children is a gift from God and that we should be praying for those children. I would take his comment one step further: We should also pray for the mother and praise her for not aborting a single child.

POPSMother of 14 expected beluge of corporate goodies. This stupid woman must have been brought up on an estate in Britain. The clinic which fertilized her ought to loose its license and a good dose of arse kicking should follow. This is madness gone worse. The asylum gates are definitely missing.

POPSCommentary: Are eight babies more than enough? For now, we can put aside the lifeboat problem: A human uterus is not built for eight passengers; the odds for each child to be born alive and healthy go down as the number in the lifeboat goes up. Her physicians offered to reduce the number of fetuses she was carrying; citing her moral convictions, she declined. As of the last reports, all eight survived. Still, knowing what we do about the many risks that come with being born too soon and too small, their medical course is likely to be complex and unsteady. What this case really does is split wide open a fault line running through infertility treatment in American medicine. People who show up at fertility clinics are adults. In the typical case, they've been trying to get pregnant for a year or more without success.

POPSOctuplets’ Mother Wants Oprah To Turn Her Into A$2m TV Star US public reaction has been mixed: many have asked how an unemployed single mother can raise 14 children, as her first six have already strained the family budget. Angela and Ed Suleman, Nadya’s parents, bought her a two-bedroom bungalow in the suburb of Whittier in March 2007, but soon after got into debt and had to leave their own home. They filed for bankruptcy and moved in with their daughter and grandchildren. Last week her father said he would return to his native Iraq to work as a translator and driver. Angela Suleman, who is caring for the first six children — one of whom is autistic — while her daughter is in hospital, said yesterday that she had consulted a psychologist over Nadya’s “obsession with children”. Nadya Suleman, who describes herself as a “professional student” living off education grants and parental money, broke up with her boyfriend before the birth of her first child seven years ago.

POPS Celebrating Life! In vitro isn’t exactly an accidental pregnancy. Who paid $10,000-odd in vitro bill, anyway? Grandad’s headed back to Iraq as a translator to help support the burgeoning Suleman brood. So many packed into a 1,550 s.f. ranch. So, what kind of moron fertility doc would implant eight, or any, in a bankrupt woman living at home with mom and dad with no husband and six kids. Hard to say. The doc(s) don’t seem to have surfaced yet. “I cannot see circumstances where any reasonable physician would transfer embryos into a woman under the age of 35 under any circumstance,” said Arthur Wisot, a fertility doctor in Redondo Beach and the author of “Conceptions and Misconceptions.” “I certainly think you can talk to her about it if you feel like she’s making a decision that’s not in her best interest or the interest of her children,” Wisot said. “You can send her for psychological evaluation, . . . ‘No, I won’t take care of you because you have too many children.’ ”
