POPSWorldCat xISBN (Web service) Readers everywhere use Amazon.com (or BarnesandNoble.com, or other book sites) to find books of interest and then wonder if the book is available at the local library. We love John Udell's LibraryLookup bookmarklet which makes this easy: when you have a book information page from an online bookseller displayed in your browser, you simply click on Jon's LibraryLookup bookmarklet to automatically check your library's OPAC for books with the same ISBN.

POPSInteresting Questia has a lot of content, so i'm surprised it's only 67,000 titles available for preview through WorldCat.

POPSlibrarian.net: another excellent library blog Another blog I'll never have time to read. Maybe someone else here can benefit. At least, I bookmarked it, right? The author's perspective on linkblogging is nice: I’ve had a few of these links hanging around for a while waiting to find time to write proper posts, but I figured I’ll drop them in here. I see a lot of blogging as playing hot potato with a bunch of web content. You find it, you pass it on, the next person passes it on. The more content you shift, the easier it is to quickly ascertain which things you need to save for longer perusal and which need to just get passed on for the next person. I’ve read and absorbed these and thought you might like them.
