POPSOPHARMA - Politics Over The Greater Good That these people are still credited with the "best of intentions" proves that people either are not trying to REALLY pay attention, or their overall hope for human nature is very low - that this is really the most honest, open, well-intentioned that we should expect. WE SHOULD EXPECT AND DEMAND BETTER! These are dishonest, pompous, self-serving people and there ARE good people if only we could find them. CRAP! And after all the "hope", "change", and the chin-out, noble profile b**ls**t! F*****g SELLOUTS!!!

POPSColin Powell "Concerned" About Obama’s Spending Blitz: "We Can’t Pay For It All” COLIN POWELL: “One of the cautions that has to be given to the president " and I’ve talked to some of his people about this " is that you can’t have so many things on the table that you can’t absorb it all. And we can’t pay for it all.”

POPSThe More People Know... the More they Oppose the Stimulus from AP news: Notably, support for the proposal is now much lower than it was in January among those who have heard a lot about the economic stimulus. By 49% to 41%, those who have heard a lot about the proposal now see it as a good idea; in January, those who had heard a lot favored it by more than two-to-one. Furthermore, a poll from Rasmussen reports that 62% of voters want more tax cuts and less government spending in the plan. This must be music to the ears of Republicans, who have been on a media blitz of their own, arguing for the same. Newly elected chairman of the Republican National Committee Michael Steele wasted no time in explaining why he thinks his party should vote no.

POPS Art Encounters Life The graffiti artist who rocketed to fame with an iconic portrait of President Obama was released yesterday after spending a night in jail when he ran afoul of Hub cops unimpressed by his media blitz. Frank Shepard Fairey, 38, of Los Angeles was arrested Friday night for tagging a Massachusetts Turnpike building, police said. “Given his popularity, the suspect, prior to his exhibit, was interviewed by various media outlets in Boston and on a nationwide scale,” a police report states. “In several of these interviews, suspect spoke openly about illegally tagging. Suspect further acknowledged or admitted to recent tagging in Boston.” the Institute of Contemporary Art - has stoked his counter cultural image while making the media rounds, noting he has been arrested more than a dozen times.

POPSState polls show Ohio and Florida back to McCain With the media spending all day talking up Obama, and talking about the Colin Powell endorsement, not much talk about Ohio and Florida where the polls have gone back to McCain. This site is patently pro-Obama and was forced to show the poll results, even though they still show the electoral college with Obama getting both states. A little misleading at the least
