POPSParallels to Obamamania in ABC's "V" Sci-Fi Mini-Series An excerpt from Garvin's Sunday, November 1 Miami Herald review (“'V': The saucer-shaped bandwagon”), which the Chicago Tribune headlined “'V' aims at Obamamania.” Imagine this. At a time of political turmoil, a charismatic, telegenic new leader arrives virtually out of nowhere. He offers a message of hope and reconciliation based on compromise and promises to marshal technology for a better future that will include universal health care. The news media swoons in admiration -- one simpering anchorman even shouts at a reporter who asks a tough question: “Why don't you show some respect?!!” The public is likewise smitten, except for a few nut cases who circulate batty rumors on the Internet about the leader's origins and intentions. The leader, undismayed, offers assurances that are soothing, if also just a tiny bit condescending: “Embracing change is never easy.”

POPSAnother Republican says health care reform will destroy America. Rep. Broun, that is. Right -- if a liberal like Grayson calls out Republicans (who have no health care plan), they get their freak on. But I guess they have already been immunized to conservative insanity. Oh, and we have Rep. Gohmert saying this: Dems Would Allow Seniors To "Die Off More Quickly" This is standard conservative behavior that never gets mentioned by the media. It only comes up when a liberal is attacked and then they spend 24-48 hours to defend themselves and are forced to use these outrageous statement made by Republicans. And of course they have no traction, because of the defensive position the media puts liberals in.

POPSTV Series "V" -- Allegory or Propaganda? Tyranny comes with a smiling face and a promise of "hope" and "change". It means to "help" but it intends to dominate. Don't miss this "negative light" clip -- so well portrayed how the media is subdued. Of course the crafty deceiver is played so perfectly and politically-correct, by a woman. It does seem to have an apt moral to the story, a warning of universal global domination under the pretense of kindness, hope, love with a lot of change--an potent warning against Global Governance that we are moving toward. Be sure, however, that it is propaganda of some kind that only Hollywood would front, and Hollywood is not to be trusted either. After all, Star Trek's "Federation" represents precisely the same thing of utopian world or universal governance, or World Federal Union , versus the "Cling-Ons" that resist it which are painted as evil.

POPSNut Case Extrodinaire I haven't had the displeasure of coming across Allen Ball before and for that I'm grateful. Seldom have I met someone who is so bigoted and hateful as this individual. His solution to all the woes of this country. Christianity. Of course it's his own, right wing version. What a sanctimonious ass-hat.

POPSJust When I Thought I'd Heard It All...
SWEAT LODGE appears on my computer screen. WTF? People paying money to be herded into a makeshift room that's hotter than any imaginative HELL? After reading a 3rd person had died in this sweat ceremony, my curiosity piqued and I had to find out more about those who seek enlightenment, by sweating. Huh? I can't believe a charlatan like this guru, Ray can so easily flimflam people into paying him lots of cash so they can suffer greatly (even die) in some sweaty, crowded, hot cubbyhole. If only I could have talked to these poor souls before they handed over their health and wampum to some Nut. Maybe I could have saved them by telling them go live and blend in to a Third World slum where there's plenty of misery and sweat, trying to survive, to see if that will bring about the financial glorification they seek? Maybe if they would have helped someone living in these REAL, not conjured up conditions, fulfillment may have followed. Never underestimate the power of GIVING!

POPSByron Williams: GOP must reject the nut jobs from within More conservatives need to be vocally advocating John Wayne's attitude: "I didn't vote for him, but he's my president, and I hope he does a good job." More: If the Republican Party wants to return from the political wilderness, it must reject any association with the nut jobs. As Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., recently stated, the Republican Party must say to those who advocate that Obama was not born in the U.S., is a closet Muslim, is Hitler, or worse, that he should be assassinated, "That's crazy!"

POPSMedia Pundits Back Away From 9/11 Debate With Sheen Remember one thing like everyone else that 'worked' for the Bush Admin.. then decided to come forth with some truth as to what was really went down - the press bad mouths you! Sheen is that person they put his past up to call him crazy, but they won't debate him on the facts behind 911! If he's such a nut job PROVE IT! But they are pushing false information and they know it! I got some heat from my previous Sheen posting, but none of you could/would answer the questions either..

POPSVanity Fair: Sarah Palin Is Winning Ron Paul is a nut. I don’t know if that needs repeating, but it feels like it. When asked about Palin, he said her supporters are “more establishment, conventional Country-Club type of Republicans.” Yeah, that’s the problem with Palin: Too elitist. She’s always flying around in her fancy helicopter shooting wolves with her brand name rifles because she just feels she’s too good to walk around the ground throwing rocks at them like Ron Paul salt of the earth types. I bet her supporters have to use brand name Reynolds Wrap to make their hats instead of just buying the store brand tin foil even though both block out government mind control signals just the same. I kid, but Ron Paul does have a long career ahead of him… dancing on the street corner for nickels.
