POPSOil Consumption by Country and Gas Prices source: CIA. This refutes the talk radio propaganda that China's demand is the cause of increased gas prices. China, despite its population, consumes 1/3 of what the U.S. does. Bear in mind also the "European Union" is not a country, so if it is deleted, its makes clear just who dominates global oil consumption, with no one else even close. Here the impartial observer can see that the U.S. consumes over 25 percent of total global demand!

POPSCapt. Watson, Ship Fartley Mowat Challenge Canadian Seal hunt, Siezed Watson has argued that his vessel, registered in the Netherlands, was in international waters and that Europe will be angered by Canada's actions. Hearn said the vessel was in "Canadian territorial waters" but didn't say if it was within 12 nautical miles (19.2 kilometres) of the coastline. The minister has also said the Fisheries Act gave him the leeway to act outside the 12-mile limit. The arrests were necessary to prevent future danger to sealers, fisheries officers and observers, he said. THIS IS ODD CONSIDERING THE CANADIAN COAST GUARD JUST LOS --KILLED--4 SEALERS WHEN DOING A TOW OF THEIR BOAT. WHO IS DANGEROUS?

POPSYour height dictates how jealousy strikes But unlike tall men, medium-height women can be more vulnerable to jealousy under some circumstances. Faced with socially or physically powerful rivals they actually felt more jealous than shorter or taller women. According to the study, this may be because tall and strong, or socially well-connected women could well pose a threat to average-height feminine favourites since they might win conflicts, including physical fights. "Taller women are more dominant and have greater fighting abilities than shorter women," write the researchers in Evolution and Human Behavior

POPSJust who's side is the UN on. You are damn right the movie is anti-Islamic. And rightly so. The people the movie condems are animals. It doesn't incite anyone to violence, except maybe the Islamics who are pissed off because of the cartoon of Mohammed. The UN Sec Gen is an idiot. It is obvious that he has not seen the movie. OH, it is filled with hate speech and incitements of people to violence but those things are all taken from radical Islamic media outlets and the hate speech and incitements to violence are directed at us not the other way around. Just go and watch it. It is only 15 minutes long and it will make you stomach turn what these people are capable of.

POPSSPRING SNOW STORMS CAUSES HAVOC IN EUROPE
The number of departing flights was reduced from 60 to 45 per hour. The second day of snowfall this winter season caused problems on the train tracks, a spokesman said. In the night between Monday to Tuesday, 37 road accidents took place due to slippery roads, a spokesman for the Dutch police said. AUSTRIA: One person was killed and about 30 injured when a snowstorm provoked a huge pile-up involving up to 100 vehicles on a motorway. The accident, which happened in the middle of this morning on the Seelwachen-St Georgen stretch of the autobahn, left numerous motorists trapped inside their cars. Up to 14 people were seriously injured in the pile-up, according to the Red Cross. Low visibility due to the snowstorm was to blame for the crash, and the Austrian motoring association said that up to 100 cars were involved. One helicopter was at the scene this afternoon, but other helicopters had to abort their attempts to join the rescue mission because of continuing heavy
