Republicans Need to Dump the Neoconservatives
blueridge
by blueridge  11-3-2009    1
The republicans need a "tea party" within their own camp! The Bush and present GOP "conservatives" are pushing big government Statism as much as Democrats, with only a different slant. Wars for democracy are a key element of both parties now. There is an insidious philosophy underlying this acceptance of the "natural" growth of statism. Neoconservative columnist David Brooks wrote ... we need "a vigorous One Nation Conservatism ... by making the nation great, individuals are able to join their narrow concerns to a larger national project." Actually, it was originally the Democrats that used to believe in curtailing the powers of the Federal government. (This was after the Civil War where they were called Dixie-crats).  Well documented article worth reading entirely. Then there is this article too : That must be the meaning of change. The goal was not to restore the rule of law and constitutional legitimacy, but to transcend the Bush administration's cowboy unilateralism and tactfully reassert a neo-conservative normalcy in America's foreign policy. And this more recent article: ‘No change from Bush to Obama', say Neocons and Liberals 16 Sep 2009 American foreign policy under Barack Obama has not changed course after the Bush years, according to a group of prominent commentators from both sides of the political divide. (except for the breaking missile shield policy)...from a UK media source. Yet the U.S. Media are absolutely silent.

(Miraculously again, Bin Laden allegedly made a new video or post, which the MSM and Drudge also made sure you saw, while they did not link to this Op-ed of a well known conservative columnist). New Memo: Bush-Blair Conspired to Start Iraq War Without WMD Motive
blueridge

Hard proof that WMD was not Bush's or Blair's real reason to start war with Iraq. Not mentioned behind the Bush-Blair Anglo-American conspiracy to invade Iraq, is that neoconservative and Israeli elements who fomented the plan based upon their convenient "catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor" (from their blueprint written in Sept. 2000, one year before 9/11). Yes, it still matters now, because of those who say that "Bush did not lie, he was mistaken about WMD", which this hard evidence entirely destroys.

Iran Elections and "Green Revolution", US Involvement
blueridge
by blueridge  6-22-2009    1
Paul Craig Roberts, former Reagan Treasury official, goes on to unmask a neocon source about the election controversy: For example, neoconservative Kenneth Timmerman wrote the day before the election that “there’s talk of a ‘green revolution’ in Tehran.” How would Timmerman know that unless it was an orchestrated plan? Why would there be a ‘green revolution’ prepared prior to the vote, especially if Mousavi and his supporters were as confident of victory as they claim? This looks like definite evidence that the US is involved in the election protests.

The Jews of Iran consider Ahmadinejad no threat, as do many other orthodox Jews in Israel, the U.S. and (the once) Great Britain, many of which oppose both Israel and Zionism too! Tea Party Blow-back: Republicans Lack Credibility and Trustworthiness
blueridge
by blueridge  4-22-2009    1
This post from the conservative Cato Institute blog seals the point with a video of a republican Congressman getting booed at a Tea Party. They have a good pod cast on the subject, Reading the GOP's Tea Leaves (here) which shows that Neoconservatism must be rejected and is a cause of both Big Government and expansionist unjust wars. Republicans (and particularly the RINO establishment) are presently a part of the problem, not the solution. Neoconservatives (like Bush and the recent primary GOP candidates, all CFR members) are RINOs and not conservatives, constitutionalists, or for limited government as people like Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul have exposed.

In one of the essays disseminated by the society, McCloskey argues that "for a university to be truly Catholic," its faculty would have to be "exclusively" Catholic. Welcome back to the Counter-Reformation. The Newman Society is linked to two organizations -- CatholicVote.org and the Fidelis Center -- whose programs are clearly geared toward bringing Catholics into the Republican Party."

Obama to Adopt Neocon's "Multiple War" Policy Blueprint
blueridge
by blueridge  3-14-2009    2
The first clips reveal Obama's new policy, to which Robert Gates gives evidence, and the American Enterprise Institute (arm of the Israeli Lobby) confidently announces (as if they run the Obama administration). This was the exact blueprint of the neonconservative think tank, Project for a New American Century --who ran the Bush administration's foreign policy from within--and is proven by their own infamous document (clip 3) called Rebuilding America's Defenses, which the policy parrots: LARGE WARS...the United States must retain sufficient forces able to rapidly deploy and win multiple simultaneous large-scale wars and also to be able to respond to unanticipated contingencies in regions where it does not maintain forward-based forces. This resembles the “two-war” standard that has been the basis of U.S. force planning over the past decade. Yet this standard needs to be updated to account for new realities and potential new conflicts

WINEP Targets Iran: Neoliberals at Work for Israel in Washington
blueridge
by blueridge  3-5-2009
The neocons have a cousin on the left of close relation. The top of the clip is the JPost story you likely saw on Drudge. The lower clip is the profile on WINEP, mentioned by JPost's article, worth reading in its entirety. So here we have a Jerusalem Post story about Israel considering military action against Iran, and supporting it all from a "Washington" (but Israeli) think tank for justification. Meet the neo-liberals, the counterparts of the neoconservatives, both tied to the Israeli Lobby network . American political structure is infiltrated on both right and left by various think tanks to support wars or conflicts for the "Greater Israel" Agenda. The Israeli Lobby is like an Octopus with tentacles everywhere in Washington (and press) which the RightWeb clip describes in more detail. In contrast to the obviously partisan character of AIPAC, WINEP has projected itself, at least until the administration of George W. Bush, as an objective institute. [/quot

Israel is Assassinating Iranian Nuclear Scientists
blueridge
by blueridge  2-18-2009    1
This from an Israeli paper, per Western Intel sources. This is a covert "preventive war" (the doctrine Bush began with the neoconservatives), and not just against Iran. Bottom line is that Israel is trying to provoke open war with Iran, baiting a retaliation from these covert attacks which then would be blamed on Iran as the "aggressor" (as they did with Gaza, Lebanon, etc.). This is their standard M.O.. This also shows that the US is involved in a "proxy war" for Israel (a term the US employs only toward Iran), not a "war on terror": The U.S. journalist James Risen has written recently that the CIA and the Mossad have planned together a number of sabotage operations against the Iranian program , including damaging power lines to nuclear sites in order to cause harm to computer systems and equipment. The Cold Preventive War hinges on nuclear technology. How would anyone respond to this? Maybe proxy wars of their own? "What goes around.

Gung-Ho To Be The Romans
ratilfar
by ratilfar  2-17-2009    2
If you think the insurgency in Iraq is bad, Madden writes, then you should have lived in Jerusalem in the first two centuries and dealt with Jewish terrorists who believed that their allies the Romans represented an evil that must be destroyed at any cost. The Romans, after much bloodshed, finally dealt with Jewish factionalism with brute force - legions retook Jerusalem, destroyed the Holy Temple and forced Jews to focus their religion more on synagogues and rabbinic studies than the Temple itself, blunting some of the messianic zealotry responsible for the violence. Madden believes that the lesson for America from this ancient insurgency is that the war on terror must be fought on the religious front as well. The only way to win both militarily and politically is to modernize Islam as the Romans changed Judaism to fit into their empire.

Cheney Begins Fear-mongering Again, Pushes Terrorism Paranoia

After all, this propaganda has always worked so well. Just who is terrorizing for political ends, and who is trying to "change our way of life"? Irrational or ungrounded fear, paranoia, is the basis for lost freedom and dangerous policies of war and psychopathic aggression--like "preventive wars" which killed over a million in Iraq. Will Americans continue to believe this official "conspiracy theory", that "Islamo fascists want to kill Americans every day", despite no credible evidence outside of repetitious talking points? And while Cheney warns of a "high probability of nuclear or biological attacks", just who ordered the "unauthorized" take off of a B-52 from Minot AFB (see Clip) loaded with nuclear bombs? And where did Iraq gets its "biological" weapons materials (West Nile, anthrax, etc) but from the US? Oh, and just where did that Anthrax letter and material come from--Islamo fascists or from someone with access to Ft. Detrick Maryland?

Hey Israel, do not elect this Likud party war-monger who has direct ties to the neoconservatives of the Bush administration! No more neocons or Likudniks who only foment wars without just cause. His point about "trumping economics" is also ridiculous and proves his lack of sanity. WAR HAS INCREASED US NATIONAL DEBT UNDER BUSH, DEVALUED THE DOLLAR, RAISED OIL PRICES...EVERYTHING THAT HURT THE ECONOMY. So Bibi (his nick), don't try and sell us more wars for "regime change". Neither has Iran ever attacked another country, while Israel (who has WMDs) has. In fact Israel has attacked three countries within the last 24 months--Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. Netanyahu is also close friends of Larry Silverstein, lease owner of the WTC complex that was demolitioned on 9/11 which ignited the pre-planned wars for a "new middle east" laid out in the Project for New American Century's Sept. 2000 blueprint. Kissinger to Obama: Opportunity for New World Order
blueridge
by blueridge  1-23-2009    1
Speaking of the Israel/Gaza "crisis", he says that Obama's task should be to "develop an overall strategy for America", and that "a new world order can be created... it's a great opportunity"! This demonstrates that the "war on terrorism" is really all about this global scheme, the same "new world order" that George H. W. Bush first mentioned publicly in a speech coincidentally on Sept. 11, 1990 (precisely 11 years to the day before 9/11) , Clinton, George W. Bush, Tony Blair, and many others have talked about publicly. It is their dominant theme. Note Kissinger says Israel is "the most important" issue, but refers to other potential tensions, and "jihadists". So both republican and democrat Presidents, now including Obama, are moving toward the same new world order , which the neoconservatives had termed "benevolent global hegemony" led by the U.S.. Kissinger is a CFR member, like Obama

King's Anti-Imperialism and the Challenge for Obama

Obama's plan to order the beginning of a withdrawal from Iraq on day one of his administration is consistent with the anticolonialism of the King tradition and of Obama's own autobiography. But the dark clouds over the Obama administration are Afghanistan and Palestine. What Obama accomplishes on those two issues will powerfully shape his presidency. Only if he can avoid perpetuating colonial abuses in both can he hope to claim the mantle of anticolonialism from King and from his own father. For the Bush administration assiduously robbed other human beings of their status as images of the divine, and the US will not be whole until Afghans and Palestinians can say in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at Last, Free at Last, Great God Almighty, I'm Free at Last."

The self-labeled neoconservatives were the authors of the Iraq War which Obama insists he opposed. Actually, Obama should feel very comfortable supping with the Neocons since they are originally from the Left , not the Right. That's right, just like leaders of US world wars to "make the world safe for democracy", like Presidents Wilson and FDR (both Dems). They are RINOs. Obama Defends CIA Pick to Dems, Neocons Praise
blueridge
by blueridge  1-7-2009
And just why are the neocons like Feith (who ran the rogue Office of Special Plans) and Richard Perle praising him as bringing a good pick to "reform" the CIA? Well they crafted the "intelligence" for the Iraq war with lies and circumvented the CIA (and Tenet got a Medal of Freedom Award from Bush for not challenging their unsubstantiated lies about WMD). They want the CIA to do this for them instead to justify their war agenda for "regime change" in the middle east primarily. Just who is praising Obama for this pick is more strong evidence (along with his silent support for Israel's war on Gaza, surge in Afghanistan, etc) that he will continue the neoconservative agenda, only in a "kinder and gentler" manner, in their plan for "global hegemony" for world democracy through "regime change". Not much change here. Panetta has no hard Intel experience.

Obama is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, one of the key think tanks involved in this report and the American Enterprise Institute is stacked with militant Zionists and neoconservatives too. Gaza is under siege and Palestinians abused and killed (slowly) but you will not hear anything about an "Operation Palestinian Freedom" (as Iraq war was labeled) from the U.S. or talk of invading Israel to stop the carnage. Proposals like that just do not fit the Zionist neoconservative agenda or that of Obama's foreign policy advisers or his appointments, like Rahm Emanuel, Robert Gates, or Hillary Clinton--all AIPAC approved. By definition of the Zionists the Palestinians must be terrorists and Israel is a poor abused victim "acting in self defense", by making war on average Palestinian citizens.
