POPSBonanzle.com - my new favorite site Goodbye eBay - we've had fun, we've laughed, we've cried, we've made money and lost money, but it's over. We are moving on. eBay has become a monopoly and we no longer will be a part of it.

POPSThe feng shui of cows :) "What the benefit could be for cows, however, remains a mystery. Experts acknowledged that the research almost certain- ly has no practical applications." Cool though ;-)

POPS"1984" George Orwell Knew Google/You Tube Another attempt to usurp our privacy rights. Viacom claims copyrights. I'm all for the American dream. I am also for the right of individuals privacy, part of that same American dream. Viacoms fight to win access to the personal data from You Tube goes too far. Better for them to to use the technology to create filters, blocks, screens that will keep their info from being hacked than from having access to personal information. If they can't keep safe their own content what makes anyone think they can protect the content they are wanting to have the freedom to acquire? If you have any doubts about what is going on just reread George Orwell's 1984 novel. For the last few years in the name of security our rights have been slowly but surely diminished. We live in a global community. It's time for everyone to realize that and treat each other with the same accord, respect we share with those closest to us.

The concept is presented in a rugged style that gives the feel of a local tavern, where you can pamper yourself with over 15 brands of domestic and imported beer. Beers-on-tap, great beer-smothered snacks and set meals also form part of the menu.

POPSChristian Games on Young Forest Games - Truth, Compassion, Tolerance Christian games can now be bought at www.YoungForestGames.com/ and I couldn't be happier! This site uses a unique ranking system based on the principles of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance, to determine whether a game should be promoted or sold. This means that video games with too much dishonesty, hatred or violence, and intolerance, will be given low rankings, while games that are assimilated to the higher standard will be given featured positions. This is a really neat way of showing games that have upright values to people and allows the independent developers who create these games to finally have a place where their work can be respected and even given 1st place recognition.

POPSRolling Blackouts Let’s emulate California? First, California didn’t cut their demand; they only kept it from increasing. Next, people may remember how well California’s energy policy worked over the last two decades. The aging infrastructure, price mandates, and botched privatization led the state into years of rolling blackouts, where utilities simply cut off supply in order to compensate for an inability to meet demand. Governor Gray Davis got recalled from office over the issue, but the blackouts continued for years afterward. And again, California never did reduce demand, not even by 5%, let alone 15%. I’m not sure Californians would feel like a great example of an energy policy that worked, and I doubt the rest of the nation feels differently. And Obama once again repeated his pledge to get a million more plug-hybrids (at 150 mpg!) on the road while cutting electrical demand, a neat trick that Obama still hasn’t explained.

POPSThe 'Healthy' Office Of The Future In recent years companies have been putting a lot of time, effort and money into encouraging their employees to get fit and, more important, cut health care costs. But does the next step include a re-engineering of the typical office? It could happen sooner than you think. Dr. James Levine, a Mayo Clinic endocrinologist, is reporting that after six months, 18 employees in an office with walking tracks, desks attached to treadmills and games lost 156 pounds - an average of eight pounds each. Perhaps even more interesting - despite the lack of traditional desks and seating - no productivity was lost and revenue, in fact, rose.
