Bush Ponders National ID Card For All Citizens
windyladawn
by windyladawn  7-23-2008
For readers still asleep, here is a brief review of the NWO agenda: massive depopulation worldwide, but especially in North America; abolishment of all soverign goverments and countries; identification, 24 hour tracking, and mind control of every human remaining on the planet; institution of a global fascist feudal society for the remaining 300-500 million humans worldwide who survive the coming American Holoaust, wars, plagues, concentration camps, earth changes, and nuclear explosions.

REAL ID, A Real Threat to Gun Rights
blueridge
by blueridge  7-21-2008
Gunowners of America has stated the same, but this article shows how. Like the Social Security card, now used as a national identifier for non-related purposes, REAL ID would morf beyond its stated purpose (because the SSN is one of its central components).

Book Review: ID Crisis, The Abuse and Tyranny of ID
blueridge
by blueridge  7-11-2008
Give your Congressmen, governor, and state legislators a gift to restore sanity and liberty against REAL ID and the increasing total surveillance society. Remember the security merchandisers are lobbying them all everyday, selling their products at the expense of your liberty. This, along with the Constitution, is your ammo to fight back. Educate them with hard facts that refutes the effectiveness of ID methods as a means increasing security. Harper is the leading expert on countering ID propaganda.

Cheap Labor
cptenaud
by cptenaud  6-29-2008    1
By Jim Small Senator, "...Harper also said the state should cut the amount it spends on overtime for corrections officers in the state prisons. In the current budget, the Department of Corrections was allotted more than $24 million for overtime pay due to a shortage of officers. To achieve savings in the prisons without diminishing public safety, Harper proposed deploying the National Guard to state prisons and having soldiers replace corrections officers. The soldiers, he said, don't earn overtime pay. He said they could work 72 hours a week as prison guards - 12-hour shifts, seven days a week - and save the state millions of dollars. I find it unbelievable that people like Senator Harper only see the military as their labor pool!!!

The UK REAL ID Program
blueridge
by blueridge  6-24-2008
Same as the US but more blatant spying. The US REAL ID incorporates the social security number from which all financial, medical, credit and personal info can be data-mined easily. Here the UK admits open collection of a broad amount of information. The UK does not have a bill of rights and the US acts like it does not. "Membership has its privileges" could be their slogan, without this you cannot "buy or sell".

Alaska Becomes 9th State to Outlaw REAL ID
blueridge
by blueridge  6-1-2008
Tyrannical federal legislation sparked another Civil War against federal despotism, and the states are seceding from REAL ID continually, essentially using the doctrine of Nullification based upon the 10th amendment of the Constitution. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Any state that respects the Constitution and freedom for its citizens will do the same.

Minnesota REAL ID Showdown: Governor vs Legislature
blueridge
by blueridge  5-27-2008
In this very bias article by the newspaper the reader is left with an incorrect impression: Gov. Tim Pawlenty killed a bill to bar national identity card rules, but issued a conciliatory executive order. No, it is entirely dishonest to say the Governor "killed" the bill against REAL ID when they later inform the reader of this fact: A bill prohibiting Minnesota's compliance with the Real ID requirement passed last week by overwhelming veto-proof margins in both the House and the Senate. The Governor cannot "kill" a bill that the legislature can over-ride. This battle is not over, but its clear the governor is playing the sycophant, carefully, for the Dept of Homeland Tyranny: The executive order, he added, "will give us an opportunity to work with our federal partners and state legislators to resolve the valid concerns regarding this program."

Arizona State Senator(R): 9/11 Controlled Demolition
blueridge
by blueridge  5-12-2008
Her commentary appeared in this newspaper. She makes a well sustainable argument that cannot be denied has merit. • The theory that the buildings collapsed due to controlled-demolition explosives, however, is consistent with scientific principles and the facts. The “demolition” theory, in fact, is the only one which scientists have been able to corroborate. That is, “… all observations are in accord with the use of explosives in a time sequence.” (Legge and Szamboti, December, Journal of 9/11 Studies.) The events of 9/11 led immediately to the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and passage of the Patriot Act (what double-speak), both of which deprive us of Constitutional rights and have brought us to the brink of becoming a police state. Homeland Security is currently trying to force a national ID card down our throats, although some governors have politely (or not so politely) told Secretary Michael Chertoff where he can go.

REAL ID: 50 States' Citizens Free to Travel; Senators Grill Chertoff
blueridge
by blueridge  4-4-2008
This is a good analysis on REAL ID, as their is much posturing going on by the Dept. of Homeland Tyranny (aka Security) as to the results. Bottom line is the States rebelled, and the anti-Constitutional Department is compromising, but still pushing. May 11th was the deadline date, but it has been arbitrarily moved, and has no definitive standards. Chertoff's goal is to feign compromise while coercing and gaining increasing conformity. The freedom to travel as free citizens should not, and legally cannot, be impeded. To set up a new criteria for just who will be treated like "free citizens", instead of criminal suspects, without probable cause or search warrant, on the basis of a national (i.e. federalized) ID card is unconstitutional.

Lamar Alexander R-Tenn Sees Chance To Nix Real ID Act
merrie
by merrie  3-26-2008    2
“Congress created Real ID, and they can do away with Real ID,” said Jim Harper, director of information policy studies at the Cato Institute and the author of a book on identification laws and technology. “Not a single state is going to be in compliance with the law by May, and the program has been failing from the start.” Citing the law’s unfunded costs and big-government approach, Alexander told Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff at a March 4 subcommittee meeting about his plans for the amendment. Like many critics, one of Alexander’s biggest concerns is cost. He points out that while some estimates of the implementation of Real ID come to $4 billion, federal officials have appropriated only $60 million and distributed only $6 million. At least 19 states have passed measures stating their opposition. “If you pass a bill without hearings, you’re going to miss stuff. And the authors of Real ID missed a lot,” Harper, of the Cato Institute said.

FBI Admits Spying on Innocent Americans
blueridge
by blueridge  3-6-2008    3
Using "national intelligence letters" from the so-called USA PATRIOT ACT. You are no longer a free citizen protected by the Constitution, but a criminal or terrorist suspect. Note how "credit reports...phone records...internet traffic" are among things admitted to. Your credit report has your entire financial and life history on it. This is why REAL ID must be resisted entirely, as well as the extra-constitutional Gestapo-patterned Office of Homeland Security. The founders always warned that "necessity" is the tyrant's plea, the usual justification for breaking constitutional restraints on government.

Bi-Partisan Opposition in Pennsylvania to REAL ID Seeks to Block Implementation
blueridge
by blueridge  3-4-2008    1
Pennsylvania also, like West Virginia, presently has bi-partisan legislation pending against REAL ID to prevent its implementation. As the article points out this unusual bi-partisan coalition is mirrored at the national level where groups as diverse as the ACLU and American Center for Law and Justice (as well as National Rifle Association) are all finding common ground in the Constitution to defend their rights to privacy and state's rights versus government intrusion. Any governor that does not see the strength and broadness of this movement, or is blind to what the Constitution limits government from doing, will probably find bipartisan opposition to their re-election as well. Note the legislative bills from Pennsylvania are linked in the clip below.

Non-REAL ID Citizens to be Treated Like Suspects
blueridge
by blueridge  2-27-2008
This "homegrown fascism" begins May 11th at an airport near you. After all, "membership has its privileges" and you must be a federally-approved citizen and accept the Federal "mark" to be treated like you are "free". The new extra-constitutional Dept. of Homeland Tyranny plans to "make an example" of the citizens of Maine and New Hampshire for their states' (absolutely justifiable) rejection of REAL ID. TSA will be their deployed mercenaries to harass law-abiding free citizens for their nullification of this federal legislation. There should be open and public protests and lawsuits filed to stop this second class citizen "handling". Both REAL ID and the Dept of Homeland Security should be rescinded and abolished, being contrary to the Constitution, if Americans expect to be free indeed.

If you don't think your future in this country is at stake go find a graph of our national debt. Printing presses will not be able to print $ fast enough. We are doomed unless we fight back. We can do it without bullets now, but we have to make sacrifices to get our message heard. I'm planning on marching; will you? It will be a 3,800 mile round trip and inconvenient, but I've got to do what I can for conscience sake and for the children. It may be the last time I can travel freely. With the National ID coming we will be banned from opening Bank Accounts and entering Federal Buildings (yahoo for that!) without it. The stakes are increasing daily. If money is the problem, I can help you. We can have fun, make money, and push back tyranny by WORKING together. Learn more at http://robertcoss.com/MyBusiness/Other.htm

Who's being punished for 9-11?

We the People, that's who. "They", (we all know who the "they" is) haven't caught Bin Laden after 6 years of supposedly hunting him down. "They", sent our young people into an unnecessary war deluding the war they waged on the real 9-11 designers in Afghanistan. "They", depleted our liberties under the guise of Homeland Security. "They", took away so much of our National Guard, states were left without a safety net when natural disasters occurred i.e. KATRINA, which we are still being punished for with FEMA's revised Flood Maps. This little doozie is costing Me (A CARD CARRYING MEMBER OF, WE THE PEOPLE) 200 hundred dollars a month for flood insurance, added to my mortgage because the new flood maps put my house smack dab in the middle of a flood zone. Lived in a house for almost 13 years and was high and dry through La Niñas, hurricanes and a few torrential rains replete with strong tornadoes. All of a sudden "They" tell me I need flood insurance. http://thinkingblue.blogspot.com

Houston, We Have A Problem...
AtlLiberal
by AtlLiberal  12-13-2007    1
A majority of Americans cling to a fairy tale to describe the origins of man (and women). To have their fantasies threatened evidently scares them to death. Because of this threat to their faith they lie without blinking an eye. Using their twisted logic that religion is not their motivation for squeezing Intelligent Design into science class falls apart when applied to other disciplines. There is no national push to teach astrology as an alternative to astronomy. There is no push to teach alchemy alongside chemistry. The only push is to teach Creationism (in the thin guise of ID) alongside evolution. And the drumbeat of lies from the IDers continues. Their discredited "science" (see Dover Penn trial) continues to be their best hope of getting god into the classroom and they won't stop until this is accomplished.
