POPSThe Challenge of Freedom Part I
a desperate struggle, conducted in the defiance of inevitable defeat. As a religious and spiritual people, we have a tendency to regard the triumph of the righteous as assured, and see victory as the destiny of virtue. The evidence of history says otherwise. No one would have given the American patriots winning odds at the outset of the Revolutionary War, fought against the most disciplined and well-equipped military force of the era, by men who marched through the snow in the tatters of disintegrating boots. Even patriotic Americans of today don’t always appreciate how special our achievement is… not just in its success, but its endurance. Most victorious “revolutions” end with a new class of slaves cleaning up the victory celebrations, beneath the whips of a new set of tyrants. As Binyon points out in his Times Online article, grisly regimes like North Korea remain in power, despite decades of poverty and manifest failure. The image of a lone, unarmed man standing against

POPSObama Extends Hand, But America's Critics Keep Fists Clenched Probably because it wasn't all about Pres. Bush, his policies, or anything else other than America's ideology, it's power, it's prosperity. However, now that that's changing all our enemies can say whatever and ally themselves with each other to undermine and destroy us. Obama is weak; they are taking advantage of that.

POPSOfficials in Southern California Prepare For Inevitable Nuclear Attack, Thanks to SmartPower™
"Hollywood is raising awareness about the aftermath of a mega disaster and what needs to be done to survive," Kondo said. Experts are especially concerned about the possibility that Iran one day could launch ship-based nuclear missiles, said Brian Kennedy, president of The Claremont Institute's Ballistic Missile Defense Project. "The West Coast of the U.S. has limited missile defense against a North Korean missile," Kennedy said. "And, unfortunately, we're almost completely vulnerable to a ship-launched ballistic missile attack." Kennedy is also concerned a ship-launched nuclear missile detonated at a high altitude would create an electromagnetic pulse, possibly destroying electronic equipment and knocking out the nation's power grid - leaving the country with little or no communications and no ability to provide food and water to potentially hundreds of millions of people. http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/0DE6BA09-9CE6-4770-9518-2CF80C3C9054/

POPSHillary Clinton Gives “Smart Diplomacy” A Solid B-plus Yes, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has ‘fessed up that Barack Obama’s “smart diplomacy,” which seems to be comprised of writing pretty letters and giving pretty speeches aimed at Iran, has produced results just as impressive as the smart diplomacy policy with North Korea. Which is zero. This video demonstrates a first: Former UN Ambassador John Bolton and Clinton agreeing on something. Source: Gateway Pundit

POPSseoul cheap flights Seoul is a fascinating mix of Korean tradition and global modernism. Originally adopted as the capital of all Korea in 1394, the city remains the capital city of South Korea today.

POPS Obama's Legacy That far exceeds what's needed to turn on the lights, but it's also beyond what's needed for a basic nuclear weapons program. Consider North Korea, which manufactured two limited yield nuclear weapons using only a plutonium reactor, a plutonium reprocessing facility, and -- presumably -- some sort of weapons laboratory. Why is Iran pumping billions more into building and protecting triple the number of facilities required to build a basic nuclear weapon, akin to the Fat Man or Little Boy bombs detonated in 1945? The answer could be that Tehran is skipping basic weapons construction and moving towards an advanced thermonuclear design. Consider that they've already experimented with advanced weapons designs like two-point implosion, nuclear triggers, and have built their own facility at Arak that could be used to produce both tritium, which is a suspected boosting agent in hydrogen bomb designs, as well as weapons-grade plutonium.

POPSA missile defense system might be nice now... I wish I could stop reading about this kinda' stuff. Every day it's something worse. At every turn Obama undermines the security of us and our allies....and those in Congress seem so fixated on passing a sinking Health Care Bill to realize that it's NOT our first priority. Those who do not see the horrific danger that a nuclear Iran poses have their heads in the sand.

POPSN.Korea still wants recognition as nuclear state Let's see! They probably have at least one working smoke detector. And it works because of a very small amount of radioactive material. We can give them the nuclear club status based on this possession of radioactive material. Not for anything else!

POPSToyota outshines Hyundai in Korea Hyundai, a Korean automaker has official declared that it is pulling out from Asia’s largest automobile market – Japan. Hyundai could not impress Japanese car buyers even though it is eight long years since the time it started. On the other hand, Japanese automaker Toyota is not only gaining grounds in Korea but also established itself as on of the most popular imported auto brands.

POPSHow Well They Played Our Game "It did not take long for the Japanese to tire of the territorial restrictions placed upon them by their Anglo-American partners. No one in Oslo, or in the United States Congress, knew the truth then. But the Japanese did. And the American president’s support emboldened them to increase their military might — and their imperial ambitions. In December 1941, the consequence of Theodore Roosevelt’s recklessness would become clear to those few who knew of the secret dealings."

POPSSouth Korea Continues to Show Its Dominance by Jill Simpson
North Korean and South Korea continue to scuffle over South Korean waters off the peninsula's western coast. According to Korean Translation workers, "In recent weeks, the South Korean navy easily defeated a decrepit North Korean Ship by firing several hundred rounds into it." Of course, in true North Korean fashion the scuffle was quickly turned into a heroic win by the North. However, Sunday's activities weren't nearly as exciting. On Sunday, a North Korean army sergeant was rescued at sea by the South Korean navy but not without some drama to go along with it. While the sergeant was "rescued" but South Korea, he was briefly detained and held for spying. New York Translation workers suggest that this all happened when the sergeant's boat drifted onto what South Korea claims to be their waters. The sergeant asked for leniency from the South Koreans and explained that One likely explanation for the sergeant's presence in those waters is that they are a very rich crabbing area. However,

POPSMatthews on West Point: CIC goes to "enemy camp" tonight... Sadly I believe Chris Matthews is right. Obama is no friend to the military. Why would he even go there? This is the training center for the future military leaders of our National Defense. Those who go there are dedicated to the protection of our Country and the defeat of all enemies, both foreign and domestic. With his tepid response to the efforts in Afghanistan, his wimpish behavior towards Iran, the do-nothing approach to N. Korea, and the bankrupting of our economy...not to mention his habit of apologizing every where he goes ..... I sense that West Point isn't the only place that could be considered the "enemy camp".
