POPSThe 'Depressionmobile' Americans should be ashamed...instead of cheering and promoting such a thing. It looks like a rikshaw with a battery. If this is the very best that American ingenuity can produce, we are, indeed, in a very sad situation. Disgusting. Speaking of batteries...I heard that to replace the battey (which may last a little over a year) would cost more than the can-on-wheels. Much like my Dell laptop; a new laptop is more economical than purchasing a new battery for it. Was that their intention????

POPSGreat Idea - Now Make it Even Better This bike, despite its cost, looks like a pretty great idea. It's much lower scale than getting a moped or scooter, but still provides power to get you around. Now if they really wanted to make this a great bike, they'd set it up so that if you pedal instead of using the motor, your pedaling charges the batery. Maybe that'll come in the next version?

The 12-year-old grey tabby, whose weight had ballooned to 15lb, became one of the first pets in Britain to be given anti-depressant drugs, on the advice of a vet who said she had 'anger management issues'.
