The Night We Waved Goodbye To America...
merrie
by merrie  11-9-2008    9
. . . . . . . . .our last best hope on Earth. . . . . . . Great article from Peter Hitchens @mail Online There had been a few white people blowing car horns and shouting, as the result became clear. But among the Mexicans, Salvadorans and the other Third World nationalities, there was something like ecstasy. They grasped the real significance of this moment. They knew it meant that America had finally switched sides in a global cultural war. Forget the Cold War, or even the Iraq War. The United States, having for the most part a deeply conservative people, had until now just about stood out against many of the mistakes which have ruined so much of the rest of the world. Suspicious of welfare addiction, feeble justice and high taxes, totally committed to preserving its own national sovereignty, unabashedly Christian in a world part secular and part Muslim, suspicious of the Great Global Warming panic, it was unique.

The night we waved goodbye to America...

I thought some of the hero worship would die down a little after the election. These two are being molded, shaped, characterized much like the mythical Camelot of the JFK years....only times 10! During those years we only had the likes of Walter Cronkite to give us the news we needed to know; now, well I can see why the Democrats are avid about the "Fairness Doctrine". FTA: "And now the US, like Britain before it, has begun the long slow descent into the Third World. How sad. "

Wacko cult leader or equally wacko leftist/anarchist group...hard to decide which group to cheer for or against.

Bushie the Moonie

It seems the Bush family just can't seem to help throwing its support and dollars at the so called Rev. Sun Myung Moon. Yes, the daddy of the Moonies is in cahoots with the daddy of the Bushies, and has been for years. For anyone who is not sure why this should be an issue, just do a bit of reading about Moon and his ruinous cult.
