POPSThe Old Vet and His Tank This is so touching: an old WW2 Russian tank army veteran has finally found his own tank on which he passed through all the war standing in small Russian town as a monument and got emotionally shocked that people worried his heart won’t be able to cope with this.

POPSAuditor Faults Work on U.S. Embassy in Iraq Another example of wasted taxpayer money. There once was a time when a man would take pride in producing quality and value in exchange for a paycheck, it seems that time is past. Millions of dollars paid out for what can be equated to theft. When you pay someone for exacting specifications and that someone produces substandard results then that someone ripped you off and that amounts to theft. And the Bureau for Overseas Building Operations is ‘considering’ whether to seek reimburdement? How freaking nice of them to ‘consider’ reimbursement. Isn’t anybody in this government going to be held to account for anything it does? America continues to show the world that we can no longer be counted on to build a soundly constructed building, even with $700 million, how the hell are we going to help reconstruct an entire country? This is embarrassing.

POPSNational Teachers College A brainchild of Dr. Priscilla Y. Arguelles, herself a veteran educator and now President and Chair of the NTC Board of Trustees, the monument was skillfully executed by a young sculptor, Paul Ouiafio and now it proudly stands on the Triangular Island bounded by Legarda and J. Nepomuceno streets adding beauty and splendour to the City and helping restore the old glory that once was Manila.

POPSWe were EVERYWHERE in DC......WE jammed the streets and the mall. "This event had been promoted as a taxpayer “tea party,” but the crowd’s concerns were wide ranging, from outrage at ACORN and Obama’s socialist cadre known as Czars, to Obama’s untruthfulness. Protesters also displayed signs mocking Nancy Pelosi and others for smearing the grassroots movement as “astroturfers” and as an angry mob. photos above show a tiny fraction of the two million ABC estimates attended. At the time this photo was taken, around 1:00 pm., Pennsylvania Avenue was still jammed completely, and the mall was packed from the Capitol Building past the Washington Monument. See aerial photos here. Protesters came from every state in the union. This man came from San Antonio, TX. I spoke with others from California to Maine, Florida to Alaska."

POPSA Fake 9-12 Rally Photo to overestimate DC crowd. What else would Glenn Beck and his followers do but produce a fake photo of the 9-12 crowd in DC. Lying is a way of life for these jokers. Why stop now? The problem is, since their zombies hang on every lie they come up with... They are starting to believe the rest of us can be so easily duped as well... Silly Boys.

POPSFDNY's New Fire Boat to Honor 343 Bravest Smith told the station that the letters spelling out 'Three Forty Three" were all cut from World Trade Center and welded on by the shipyard's workers. Not only will the fire boat be the biggest, he said it also will be the highest in capacity, pumping close to 50 thousand gallons a minute -- equivalent to about 50 average size city fire engines. "This thing as far as looking at fire fighting as a battle this thing's a nuclear weapon compared to what they've got," he said. The ceremonial launch will consist of the traditional breaking of a champagne bottle across the bow, followed by the first splash down of the ship into the Gulf. FDNY officials in attendance at the ceremony will include: Chief of Special Operations William Seelig, Chief of Marine Operations James Dalton, Battalion Chief of Marine Operations Michael Buckheit and Retired Chief of Special Operations William Siegel.

POPSCavern dig uncovers 15,000-year-old weapon more: "Many Torbay residents know Kents Cavern as a tourist attraction, but I don't think many realise just how important an archaeological site the caves are, not just in Britain but in Europe, and it is the oldest Scheduled Ancient Monument in Britain, with evidence of human occupation dating back half a million years — and as such it's the oldest recognisable human dwelling in the entire country."

POPS12,937 Mexicans can't be wrong The Mexican tribute brought tears to the eyes of the Kennedy family who stood for hours in front of the Eternal Flame at the rest-home of Ted Kennedy's brother, John F. Kennedy, who remains dead in a grave at Arlington National Cemetery. ABSNN cameras recorded the Kennedy clan softly singing La Bamba as a US Army bugler played in the background. Bad taste satire
