POPSHow The Earth Was Made~History Chnl. Any global warming freaks getting this? This 2 hr. Special on the History Channel forgets (oops) that politics are supposed to have taken over. Being that we are in the gulf between iceages and our climate has been highly unusually stable and moderate, I just wish the globalist /one-world propaganda agenda of manmade globalwarming ~ would kindly just SHOVE IT!

POPSGround rising at Yellowstone Park Yellowstone is the site of an 'ancient' volcano, that has had Massive eruptions at 600,000 year intervals, since 2 Million years ago. The last eruption was around 642,000 years ago all were greater than the Mt St Helens eruption. Geologists say that there is likely to be another eruption 'soon' but in geological time soon, means any time in the next few thousand years. The volcano seems far from extinct, but while we are likely to get plenty of warning there is no way to predict time accurately yet.

POPSVolcanic floor at Yellowstone rising I believe that there are 6 volcanoes on Earth, that if ever to have a full eruption, would result in catastrophic climate changes. The ash would block the sunlight, killing plant life and all who feed upon it. Air quality would be unsafe, earthquakes would be triggered, to say nothing of the fires and tsunamis. Yellowstone is one of those volcanoes.

POPSSurprising Activity Discovered at Yellowstone Supervolcano What the researchers think is happening, on a short-term basis at least, is that the bulging Yellowstone hotspot north of the Tetons is pushing against the north edge of Jackson Hole and jamming it against the mountains. (This is also causing the southwest part of the Yellowstone plateau, under the hotspot, to slide downhill at a rate of one-sixth of an inch each year.).
