POPSMichael Jackson's children are "doing wonderfully with their grandmother guardian", a judge has said Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff was "very pleased" with a probate investigator's report on how the three children are adjusting. The judge also increased the powers of two men administering the singer's estate, partly due to substantial debt. The pop legend died aged 50 in June. His death was ruled to be homicide caused by a powerful anaesthetic. His children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II (known as Blanket), 7, have been in the care of Katherine Jackson since their father's death.

POPSFunny how life works out, isn't it? I didn't see this video either and I am shaken... Clearly the guy attempted to shake out sticky fingers from his throat. But to fight for truth you have to be rather healthy first of all. No money can buy you life energy and strength to defeat all obstacles.

POPSNoted Defense Attorney Says Indictment on Manslaughter Likely Documents released Monday show that Murray administered a continuous cocktail of sedatives the morning Jackson died in an effort to put the singer to sleep. It was the propofol, a powerful anesthetic typically used in operating rooms, that caused him to stop breathing, according to the report. Jackson's death was ruled a homicide. "The Los Angeles Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner, Dr. Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran, indicated that he had reviewed the preliminary toxicology results and his preliminary assessment of Jackson's cause of death was due to lethal levels of propofol (Diprivan)," according to the search warrant affidavit.

POPSDoes a nation's mood lurk in its songs and blogs?
“And it’s going to change the social sciences; that to me is very clear.” ... From another site, http://wefeelfine.org/ , they pulled more than nine million sentences that used some form of the verb feel — as in “I feel relieved” — from 2.3 million blogs from 2005 to 2009.They then rated the psychological charge, or “valence,” of a significant subset of the words on a 10-point scale: from triumphant (8.82) and love (8.72) down to disgusted (2.45) and suicide (1.25). Some of the findings were expected. Sept. 11, 2001, was rock bottom, for instance. Others were less so: the day that Michael Jackson died also lowered people’s mood significantly. Christmas and Valentine’s Day regularly popped as positive times, although words like “guilty” were associated with Christmas and “waste” and “lonely” with Valentine’s Day. “Now, these are bloggers, and they certainly are not representative of everyone,” Dr. Dodds said. “But the pattern is very pronounced.”

POPSJackson's Doctor Gave Drug Officials Believe Killed Him A doctor would administer it when Jackson went to sleep, then stop the IV drip when the singer wanted to wake up. Propofol is powerful sedative drug. Once hooked on it, it is practically impossible to return back. To make the doctor a scapegoat for somebody's wreaked life is bizarre twist of common sense, although not seldom sign of despair. The official also provided a glimpse into how the pop star was living in the weeks before he died, describing the room in which Jackson slept in his rented Beverly Hills mansion as outfitted with oxygen tanks and an IV drip. The temperature upstairs was stiflingly hot when authorities arrived at the singer's house after his death. Gas fireplaces and the heating system were on high because Jackson always complained of feeling cold, the official said.

POPSThis, too, was a funeral Kind of puts in perspective the media frenzy circus of the laying to rest of St. Michael. True Jackson's death was news, but the media went so far over-board it bordered on the ridiculous. Farrah Fawcett died the same day I believe, however, once news broke that Jackson was rushed to the hospital, Fawcett may as well had died last year. Although some coverage was warranted since Jackson was a celebrity, but what we got was almost sickening.
