Giant kangaroo 'hunted into extinction'
pokkets
by pokkets  8-11-2008
There is evidence they were around when humans arrived. Until then they had no need for a defense against an 'efficient' predator. They are likened to a giant sloth. their size would have made them likely to have a long breeding cycle? and they would not have needed to be quick until humans turned up. Still...you had to be there.

enbar

From Salon magazine, 1999. Research into "alternative sexual behavior" among animals. Apparently, it's much more prevalent than you might think. So much for homosexuality being "unnatural."
