POPSThis is Why He Was Known As McSame Although I, for one, think the Dems haven't found their backbone yet, I'm still grateful that we don't have to deal with McCain in the White House. How these Republicans can, with a straight face, decry spending in the stimulus bill when in fact that's exactly what the point is for the stimulus bill are fooling no one but themselves. They are the last gasp of a failed economic policy that has brought the country to the brink of financial collapse.

POPSDid Obama Trick McCain? Mc Pain always displayed limited knowledge on just about anything....it was the failing economy where mc pain displayed the most ignorance.... McPain, McSame, McBush

POPSAl Quaeda endorses McSame why not? they prospered under Bush, in fact successfully attacked us under his watch, and he took the bait leading us into rag and ruin

POPSOf Course, Facts are Superfluous I don't expect the people who are influenced by the McSame campaign to actually do something as radical as go to the source and find out the facts but in my Don Quixote mode I'll present them nonetheless.

POPSIrrefutable Proof Sound familiar? This is the mainstay of the style and content of the McSame caompaign. It demonstrates how absurd the Republican charges sound to the Democrats. And why Democrats are flabbergasted that the ads painting Obama as a terrorist actually seem to work among the less informed voters.

POPSAARP supports Obama Young, old or in between Obama is the better choice for you. Don't be fooled by the McSame BS and vote against your own interests.

POPSThe Spies who love Obama
The world is a very complicated place and there are not always easy solutions to a lot of the problems out there," says John Brennan, a top Obama intelligence advisor and former senior CIA official who co-founded the Terrorist Threat Integration Center and the National Counterterrorism Center, a post-9/11 effort to integrate the US government's terror threat intelligence. "If you look at the world in black and white, you miss a lot of the subtleties out there. 'Either with us or against'—the world is not divided into good and evil a lot of time. Despite America's military might, a lot of these problems do not lend themselves to kinetic solutions"—i.e. the use of force. And world dynamics are likely to get more complicated and nuanced, not less, by 2025. "It's time to update our national security strategy to stay one step ahead of the terrorists," Obama said at Indiana's Purdue University. "It's time to look ahead—at the dangers of today and tomorrow rather than those of yesterday.

POPSMcCain Economic Adviser Carly Fiorina's Golden Parachute Oh Fiona, my sweet Fiona, how rich and bright is your golden parachute! Now let see what the adults in the room are doing: "UPDATE: Obama has co-sponsored a bill with eight other Democrats that is currently before the Senate Banking Committee, S.1181, that would amend the Securities Act of 1934 to include a separate shareholder vote on executive compensation. McCain is not a co-sponsor."

POPSMcSame Old Same Old I think McCain is the real 'pig-in-lipstick' candidate. No matter how you dress it up his leadership would just be another version of the last 8 years.

POPSPalin attended five colleges in six years Palin has a Bachelor's in Journalism. So, an Associate's in nursing should qualify me to be the next Surgeon General in McSame's administration, right? Or at least Sec'y of Health and Human Services...

POPSMeanwhile, in the convention hall Ooooooooh, Sarah-Bara-COO-dah! If you read the actual lyrics though, this clearly is a song to be sung by Barack Obama. He's just realized that he's about to be ambushed from the weeds by the Barracuda, and forced to his knees. Not long ago, he and "the porpoise" (Joe Biden, pre-hair plugs) were just "Selling a song," with "no right, no wrong" — just playing "a whisper game" involving a "name." This is clearly a reference to the "McSame" meme on which they were relying so much. And "sell me, sell you," the porpoise and the singer croon to each other in close harmony. Oh, yeah: It's about Obama and Biden, all right.

POPSToo Far Right! Your father raped you? Too bad. Global warming an issue? Poppycock. Teach creationism in science class? Sure, let the students decide. Ultra right wing religious fanatics are salivating all over themselves over McSame's choice. A Hillary replacement? Ha! Going to draw Hillary supporters away from Obama? In a pig's eye. Republicans must believe that women voters are all stupid idiots. This is McCain's judgment in action!

POPSMcShallow's Choice The PUMAs don't seem numerous enough to be worth courting and I really doubt anyone will jump ship from the Obama camp. Is voting for McSame/Palin supposed to be some mavericky pro-equality opportunity for GOP gals? This smacks of desperation. Is she safer than choosing more experienced, more Hillary-esque female politicians who actually have experience but are too disturbing to sexist conservatives and family values crowd? Was she chosen over better female Repubs merely because she's eye candy like all the blondes on FOX News? Sure looks that way and this could very well be an ironic step backward for women in politics.

POPSGergen: McCain Using Code Words To Attack Obama As "Uppity" Cont.... "Earlier in the week, another former McCain campaign manager, John Weaver, described the ad as "childish" and wondered aloud if it diminished his stature. The Senator's own mother, Roberta McCain, while acknowledging that she had not seen the Britney spot, called the idea "stupid." And Kathy Hilton, Paris' mother, took to the Huffington Post Sunday morning to deride McCain from dragging down the intellectual thrust of the campaign."
