POPSArtificial Strawberry Flavor Ingredients Artificial flavors are scary. All are made by chemists who simulate flavor and smell with a variety of strange chemicals. The only reason they use it is first it enhances the flavor, adds new flavors to a food, and is cheaper. They don't use real strawberrys in the Mcdonalds milkdshake--or even real CHOCOLATE in the Betty Crocker Chocolate Cake Mix--becuse it's a lot cheaper to just use a fake flavor. Kinda scary... I think. I don't know what all these chemicals could be doing to me.
