I believe they feel they have no choice but to show themselves as we verge on self-annihilation, genocide and toxic poisoning. The truth of our inter-galactic lineage will become common knowledge. If I am to believe the vision, the truth of our intergalactic lineage will cause humanity to take one wild ride. They're coming! I'd love a wild ride. Heh heh... :D Clip Song

Let's junk the myths and celebrate what we've got
balthazarus
by balthazarus  10-4-2008    4
Moreover, we need to become responsible versus petty humans; in the words of the article "When you see nothing but junk, create quality. Where quality is hard to find, curate it, adding your own seal of approval with a link. When you read inaccuracies and misunderstandings, add facts, corrections, context and journalism. If people on the internet get things wrong, educate them. When you hear the noise of people talking online, listen." Thumbs up.

An Election Without Meaning
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  10-3-2008    8
Props, gossip, accusations, and public relations. It is impression management from a candidates’ perspective. How can we fool the most people into believing that we stand for something? It is billions of dollars of gravy for the media folks and continued profit maximization for the war machine, Wall Street, and insurance companies, no matter who is determined the winner in November.

America Under Martial Law
Maxwell_Smart
by Maxwell_Smart  10-2-2008
If this would have taken place 20 years ago, I never would have found out about it. Thank God for the internet and people who pass info like this around. I don't know what to make of the added remarks about Bible Prophecy. I think you can make a lot of money speaking about it. Jesus said you won't know the day nor the hour. He told the Jews they would have signs, but I believe the church will be gone prior to that. Paul said Jesus would come for the church like a thief in the night and the people would be crying "peace and safety." Rev 17? speaks of Babylon surrounded by water - it is a desert right now. I think we we delay his coming by allowing our country to be at war and stirring up more war and letting our president turn a republic into an empire. Jesus may or may not come back in our life time. But this I know for sure - we are losing our country, the leaders are corrupt, and only an outcry from THE PEOPLE in mass is going to stop them.

Decoding the sense of smell
balthazarus
by balthazarus  10-2-2008    1
In future work, the team plans to work with researchers worldwide, including MIT's Media Lab and Department of Biology, to develop a portable microfluidic device that can identify an array of different odors. Such a device could be used in medicine for the early diagnosis of certain diseases that produce distinctive odors, such as diabetes and lung, bladder and skin cancers, Zhang said. There are also a wide range of industrial applications for such a smell-based biosensing device, he said. One application i can think of is developing an antidote for smelly things, people etc.. :)

95 democrats voted against the bill
n2sooners
by n2sooners  10-1-2008    2
Yet all we here is how it is the republican's fault. How the minority party in the house is responsible for the failure of a bill pushed by the majority even though quite a few of the minority voted for the bill. Pelosi couldn't (or more likely, wouldn't) reign in her own troops in support of the bill, so how is it the republicans are to blame?

Media's Mum On Fannie Mae's "Love Connection"
merrie
by merrie  9-25-2008    3
“Herb Moses, who helped develop many of Fannie Mae’s affordable housing and home improvement lending programs, has left the mortgage industry,”Darryl Hicks wrote for NMN. “Mr. Moses - whose last day was Feb. 13 - spent the past seven years at Fannie Mae, most recently as director of housing initiatives. Over the course of time, he played an instrumental role in developing the company’s Title One and 203(k) home improvement lending programs.” While Moses served at Fannie Mae and was Frank’s partner, Frank was actively working to support GSEs, according to several news outlets. In 1991, Frank and former Rep. Joe Kennedy, D-Mass., lobbied for Fannie to soften rules on multi-family home mortgages although those dwellings showed a default rate twice that of single-family homes, according to the Nov. 22, 1991, Boston Globe.

by firstteam  9-17-2008
This is one sensational piece of news or event or non-event to take place. The fact that a well known writer and actress (Australian) is putting this out - with a very short window time , with little to gain and much to lose (if did not turn out true) makes it more intriguing. For me it is better to read about it more in detail than to be caught unprepared - if it turned out true . If it turned out tru (time will tell) it is the BIGGEST event of our life for sure. If it didn't happen - just laugh about it. But the messenger appears serious and if it was a hoax it is very well thought out. Please read and pass it to others.

I have no problem with people (And leaders) holding a religious ideology. What I have a problem is when they openly display (While on 'official' duty) their support of their ideology. It's a private matter, and should remain as such. Pray as you want (Or don't at all), just do so in 'unofficial' matters.

The simple fact of her being a pro-life married mother of five with a thriving political career was--before anything else about her was known--enough for the left and its outliers to target her for destruction. She could not be allowed to contradict symbolically one of the central narratives of the left. How galling it will be to Sarah Palin's many new enemies if she survives this assault and prevails. If she does, her success may be an important moment in the struggle to shape not just America's politics but its culture.

Democrat Attacks on Palin Proven False

Virtually every one of these lies was reported by a major news organization without being properly verified. Meanwhile, no mainstream news organization has assigned investigative resources to uncovering Hussein Obama's radical activities in Hawaii and Chicago. The American people have less than sixty days to find out the truth about the kind of man the liberal media is trying to sneak into the White House.

The Law of the Conservation of Violence
invictus
by invictus  9-8-2008    2
Edward S. Herman's article on Z-Net, touches some important points: Can we expect a "way different" (and peaceful) international policy , if Obama wins? Do the Democrats promise to put an end to that "muscular foreign policy" which have harmed America's image for years? An interesting read. Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on the campaign trail called for a larger army to meet U.S. "defense" needs. Now Obama wants us to take on a bigger commitment to violence. This will keep the arms cargo ships and planes busy and the bomb factories and plane and missile factories working at full capacity. Of course, those wanting infrastructure improvements and resources will have to wait and "hope" for a better future after our enemies are defeated and full hegemony and stability are established. They need a good dollop of "vision." The law of conservation of the level of violence thus rests on the structure of power and its reflection in politics. If you want to compete

Demons in our Midst:Facing the Tyrant Inside and Out
katsteevns
by katsteevns  9-3-2008
(cont.)It took me a long time to recognize that truly demonic energies are operating in our world right now. I was as unwilling to acknowledge the demonic as the next person. "Demonic" was not a word in my vocabulary, nor was "evil." I thought that people who used those words were projecting and ought to look at their own behavior. However, personal as well as global circumstances have compelled me to try to understand these energies and how to combat them. We live in a world where deceit, duplicity, and mass delusion seem nearly all-pervasive. We cannot rely on the mainstream media to tell us what we most need to know, the truth; we cannot believe the politicians; we can't trust our electoral process; and half the country seems to be under a hypnotic spell induced by sub-rational mesmerism. Our lives are increasingly being corralled by a maniacal, irresponsible administration that uses lies and fear to rationalize its assaults on our rights and freedoms, our economy and environment

Two of the Afghan witnesses interviewed in this film have since been murdered. I'm going to watch some of this...just wanted to hurry up and clip to post for everyone.

World Opinion is Worthless

"The moment one recognizes "world opinion" for what it is — a statement of moral cowardice, one is longer enthralled by the term. That "world opinion" at this moment allegedly loathes America and Israel is a badge of honor to be worn proudly by those countries. It is when "world opinion" and its news media start liking you that you should wonder if you've lost your way. "

We find most of the videos we post to Brasscheck TV, but occasionally we find the time to make one. This video has an interesting history. Google took it down after three days and over 17,000 views. YouTube blocked us from posting it altogether. Someone copied it while it was up on Google and posted it to YouTube Canada where it became the most discussed video of all time in the "News and Politics" category with over 500,000 views. But now it seems to have been entirely scrubbed from YouTube Canada. Anyhow, somehow we have it back up on Google Video. Watch it while you can. Somebody really doesn't like this one

Mars toxin doesn't rule out life NASA
pokkets
by pokkets  8-7-2008
The seas early in the history of the planet Earth were thought by NASA to be toxic to oxygen breathing organisms http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2005/oct/HQ_05338_toxic_seas.html Oxygen was also thought to be toxic to the majority of organisms existing at the time. The introduction of oxygen through photosynthesis when it evolved in plants, being the basis for one of the first Mass-extinction events. Nature has managed to squeeze energy from more toxic chemicals than perchlorate. Toxicity can be relative. Chlorine can be toxic in bleach, but can assist the conductivity of electricity ( when combined with sodium-salt) in non conductive organic materials. Still I thought it was funny this time scientists weren't just 'surprised', they were 'stunned' Beats me why they're still determined to find life on Mars, when life on Earth is getting such little respect.

Outrage over bishop's abuse remarks

Speaking from transit in Tokyo, they said Bishop Fisher's comments were outrageous. "We are still grieving over our daughters, and many other victims are struggling every day," he said. "To think this issue is over when the abuse stops is ridiculous. There are people self-harming, committing suicide, drinking, using drugs, because of sexual assaults committed by Catholic priests."
