Didactic architectures and organization models: a process of mutual adaptation
akipta
by akipta  8-6-2008
This article aims to establish a parallel between the organizational models and the didactic architectures used by businesses to manage internal training. The objective is to understand whether so-called "eLearning 2.0" (eLearning based on the tools and approaches typical of web 2.0) can be useful in different frameworks and organisations. In this context, the paper looks at whether it is possible to identify a mutual process of adaptation among the organizational and training models we term didactic architectures.

EU: "based on partnership, prosperity and peace"
righthand
by righthand  11-21-2007
" As part of the European Youth Parliament 56th international session in Ireland this week, young people from 30 countries have been debating issues including global warming, migration, healthcare and trade. Participants discussed policy approaches before proposing resolutions to the general assembly. A resolution on EU reform recommended raising public awareness of the Reform Treaty followed by referendums in all member states in order to increase democratic legitimacy. It also suggested the introduction of EU citizenship classes in member states and called for pan-European TV news programmes. The Social Bookmarking Faceoff
ghiberti
by ghiberti  9-19-2006    2
"Michael Arrington stated that there are about 53 million posts on del.icio.us. Based on the statistics mentioned at the time of the del.icio.us acquisition (by Yahoo) in December 2005, and the growth since then, we estimate the current number of people using del.icio.us at 500,000. From this we conclude that the average user on del.icio.us did a little over 100 posts. This is a pretty impressive number, although it might be the case that there is a fat tail and a handful of users with a huge number of posts."
