POPSFlying Kick Sent Man Into Train's Path, Video Shows
Rosimo suffered only an undisclosed foot injury and was transported to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. View VIDEO (0:39) http://www.oregonlive.com/washingtoncounty/index.ssf/2010/01/man_falls_in_front_of_departin.html Witt said several factors played into Rosimo avoiding more seriously injury. The train that went over him is a newer model introduced in August on which the outer skirt of the train is a couple of inches higher than on old trains. But Rosimo's real saving grace, Witt said, may have had more to do with the track than the train. The tracks at the Sunset Transit Center lay in a bed of gravel and are raised higher than in other parts of the system. If the tracks were in pavement, as they are in downtown Portland, Witt said, Rosimo wouldn't have had any spare room. The wrestling was characterized by Beaverton police Det. Pam Yazzolino as "playfully horsing around." According to the police report, the train operator reportedly had been watching the group .....
wife russian Dating Russian Women- Wife Russian - Why a Russian Wife Should Be Honored and Valued in the West Men in America and abroad have been starving for for decent, good old fashion women and have been complaining about a lack of that in recent times. Most men in America believe that American women have gotten spoiled and selfish in the way that they treat their men. They have become far more materialistic than at any time in American history and they tend to want a guy that will give them a lot of money and gifts and also be a bad boy as far as his image is concerned and how he treats women. This kind of attitude has led many men to look for their potential future wives outside of the states and this leads me to the point of this article. Far more American men have started to venture outside of their comfort zones and outside of their country to look for women of their dreams but where do they find a woman that is kind, caring, educated, communicative and family oriented?

POPSWhere The Preaching Goes Too Far There is no war on evangelical Christians here and they are not being thrown to the lions. As this article states, they are childishly chafing against societal shifts. They don't want to see civil rights for us all because they believe God discriminates and it's their view of religion/politics or the highway. They will always find "token" gays to mimic their views because those poor souls think loving their oppressors will win them approval. But spreading these views to parts of the world with less freedom is downright dangerous and unconscionable.

POPS Let's Roll 2 by Mark Steyn If the facts remain broadly as outlined, this incident has serious implications for airline travel: A man is on the no-fly list but is allowed to board the plane. Everyone flying on an inbound long-haul flight to the United States is forced to hand over excessively large amounts of liquids and gels and put the small amounts permitted into separate plastic bags, yet the no-fly guy's material for bomb-making sails through undetected. This time the last line of defense worked. Next time, the paradise-seeking jihadist might get lucky and find himself sitting next to, say, Charlie Sheen, too immersed in a lengthy treatise on how 9/11 was an inside job to notice the smoldering socks in the next seat; or to the same kind of nothing-to-see-here crowd who thought Major Hasan's e-mails were "consistent with his research interests". POPSParents' fury as failed asylum seeker who killed 12-year-old girl in hit-and-run
They may as well give passports out in lucky bags because that is all they are worth. I cannot believe the judge's decision and that he thinks it is right for him to stay here. Is he on another planet?' houston Paul and Margaret Houston are furious that Ibrahim can remain in the UK The 39-year-old engineer, from Darwen, Lancashire, added: 'If I thought he was genuinely sorry, I would have stood up in court and said I didn't want him to be taken away from his children.' All Ibrahim's applications for asylum and citizenship had been rejected at the time of the accident. But although he was technically awaiting deportation, he was not returned to Iraq because it was too dangerous. Just weeks before knocking down Amy outside her home in November 2003, Ibrahim had been banned for nine months for driving while disqualified and without insurance or a licence. POPSWicked Weasel was born, and men the world over celebrated You simply can’t put into words (mainly because you’re literally speechless) that first sight of your girl as she walks out into broad daylight wearing next to nothing, for the rest of the world to gape and ogle at. It wasn’t until we got home later that night that I realized I’d been just like all the other boys, reduced to a blubbering mass of hormonal eye groping. It started to dawn on me the significance of the terms wicked, weasel and risqué.

POPSHave Yourself a Very Kitty Christmas! "There sat Sebastian, happy as could be, perched on a branch deep in the tree. I’m sure he thought we had brought it home just for him." You mean you didn't?!!! More from the article below: "So when Sebastian didn’t show up right away, I knew he was up to something. I looked everywhere - under the beds, on top of shelves, in the manger. Yes, I said manger. The year before, my brother-in-law had made a beautiful ceramic manger for my husband and me. Of course Sebastian thought it was his, and proceeded to knock over camels, sheep, Mary and Joseph so that he could curl up in the straw next to baby Jesus. I think he felt slighted that no barn cats showed up in traditional nativity scenes. Point taken."

POPS Cash for Cloture: Demcare Bribe List, Pt. II
1. The Hill reports that while Nelson credited Nebraska’s governor for giving him the idea to lobby for the government preference, Nebraska’s governor assailed the payoff: “Nebraskans did not ask for a special deal, only a fair deal,” Heineman said in a statement Sunday. In response, Nelson fired off a letter Sunday to Heineman saying he’s prepared to ask that the provision covering Nebraska’s Medicaid share “be removed from the amendment in conference, if it is your desire.” 2, Vermont and Massachusetts will get similar (though less generous) special treatment by the feds in covering Medicaid expansion costs. Combined with Nebraska’s tab, the exclusive clique’s payoffs will cost taxpayers $1.2 billion over 10 years. At least. 3, He’s plunging in the polls and in need of a little bacon to bring home. A $100 million item for construction of a university hospital was inserted in the Senate health care bill at the request of Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn ......

POPSThe Reid Amendment: Sweetheart Deals and Interstate Warfare
Massachusetts and Vermont have already expanded Medicaid eligibility so they would not have benefited from new federal financing under the original legislation. The Reid amendment provides a fix for these states. The increased federal spending will not increase insurance coverage, it will only substitute federal funds for state funds. Who are the losers? All the other states. According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) analysis of the Reid Amendment, total state funding for Medicaid and SCHIP will increase by $1 billion compared to the original legislation. Clearly if total state spending goes up and spending for a few favorite states goes down, then all the other states are picking up the tab. New federal rules will punish states that would use the flexibility of current law to increase the share paid by with local governments for Medicaid. California and New York historically have shared the cost and administration of Medicaid with counties and municipalities ......
