POPSMajor Storms Have Left the SD Reservations in Urgent Need of Help These people desperately need our help. “While we have heard much about the earthquake in Haiti and the unusual snow storm that hit Washington, D.C. this winter, little national news has covered the crisis building in reservation territory of the Midwest centered in South Dakota and home of the Lakota Sioux nation.

POPSSen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) Embraces Communist Van Jones
For a time, Jones had been politically radioactive to Democrats but Gillibrand’s decision to work alongside him appears to bring Jones’s political exile to an end. Gillibrand, who had a reputation as a moderate Democrat before entering the U.S. Senate, has been steadily tacking to the left since being appointed to replace Secretary of State Hillary Clinton so it’s no surprise that she is cozying up to her party’s radical left-wing. Gillibrand was one of only seven senators who voted against de-funding the radical leftist group ACORN known for its decades of involvement in election fraud. At the time she defended her vote, telling the New York Post through a spokesperson, “The truth remains that thousands of New York families who are facing foreclosure depend on charitable organizations like ACORN for assistance.” “Van Jones is a globally recognized, award-winning pioneer in the green jobs movement. He also happens to be a super fun speaker so this will be a very ....

POPSFocus on the Family and Pam Tebow Play the Left Like a Stradivarius That — that — was the ad that caused the pro-abortion crowd to go into a frenzy of censorship advocacy, character assassination, and mask-slipping demonization of mothers who dare choose life over death for their unborn children. In one fell swoop, Focus on the Family and the Tebows exposed the real pro-abortion left to a larger audience than, perhaps, had ever seen them in their natural state: as abortion-loving autocrats who despised Choice almost as much as (infant) life itself — all without really having to do anything. The fact that the commercial was not overtly pro-life (or anti-abortion) made the PWNing even sweeter, and likely brought far more people over to the Life side of the issue (or, at least, divorced them from the pro-abortion side) than an overtly anti-abortion spot would have.

POPSA Bird Without Wings...Damian McGinty A Bird Without Wings Chorus: Like a bird without wings That longs to be flying, Like a motherless child Left lonely and crying. Like a song without words, Like a world without music, I wouldn't know what to do I'd be lost without you Watchin' over me. George sings harmonies here Verse 1: I get so lonely, when you're away I count every moment, I wait every day, Until you're home again And hug me so tight That's when I know Everything is alright. Chorus: Like a bird without wings That longs to be flying, Like a motherless child Left lonely and crying. Like a song without words Like a world without music, I wouldn't know what to do I'd be lost without you Watchin' over me. George sings harmonies here Verse 2: You're my guardian angel My light and my guide Your hand on my shoulder And you by my side. You make everything beautiful, You make me complete. Everything in my world I lay at your feet.. Bridge: Like a church with no

POPSIn Orissa Christians treated worse than animals, says Father Bernard Fr Bernard Digal is the treasurer of the Archdiocese of Cuttack-Bhubaneshwar. He spoke to AsiaNews about his pain over what is happening in Orissa. He, too, was wounded, beaten for hours by radical Hindus, left for a whole night unconscious, half naked, in the forest, until he was found by his driver. Now he is in the intensive care unit in Mumbai’s Holy Spirit Hospital. During his talk with AsiaNews he was given another unit of blood. But his thoughts were with his people and family, all forced to flee to save their lives, now stranded in a refugee camp near Bhubaneshwar. “My heart is filled with gratitude because God saved my life. But whilst I am being treated here my people are hiding in the forest and even there, there is no security,” he said. “There are mothers breast-feeding their infants, children, young and old people, all hanging on a precarious thread, in terror. Even refugee camps are not free of dangers.”

POPSA Terrifying Vision: A Wife’s Premonition is Confirmed Walton’s account was published some 60 years after the vision is supposed to have occurred, and he makes it scrupulously clear that the story is secondhand. Almost four centuries later it is impossible to establish the truth of a tale that Walton dryly predicted ”will beget some wonder.”

POPSStep by Step Procedure for Surya Namaskar Surya Namaskar is one of the most important exercises that is performed when Yoga is practiced. The literal translation of this term means “Salutation to the Sun”. This is due to the fact that the Sun is regarded as a Hindu deity and is paid obeisance by this asana. It is essentially performed as a common sequence in the asanas (exercises) of Hatha Yoga.

POPSTotal Isolation - Documentary I have only just started watching this. It is something I have looked at/into on an off for a number of years. The intro speaks about Guantanamo Bay torture techniques. Might be worth studying and learning more about. I am reminded of some of the Buddhist meditative "tests"? - left in caves, food passed in once a day though they see and speak to no one for weeks, months. I used to question why we would need to learn any of these things. Maybe there is something valuable to be learned from them???

POPSFeds Refuse to Explain How Agent Injured Daily Caller Writer
(According the police department, no report will be publicly available for at least three days.) According to Medlock, who writes under the name Jim Treacher, he was struck at about 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while crossing M Street in downtown Washington. Medlock says he was walking within the bounds of the crosswalk, toward a blinking white signal, when a government SUV suddenly turned left and plowed into him, knocking him to the ground. Bystanders moved Medlock out of the street, collected his crushed glasses and called an ambulance. McGuinn, meanwhile, called The Daily Caller’s offices from the scene to tell Medlock’s colleagues about the incident. But he did not identify himself to them or to Medlock. Medlock was taken to Georgetown University Hospital with a broken left knee, lacerations and bruises. He will undergo surgery later this week. At the hospital, DC police officer John Muniz arrived to issue Medlock a $20 jaywalking ticket.

POPSOnce again, let's give a big ol' "thank you" to George Bush for all he's done, all his "hard work"...
Yesterday the airwaves were abuzz re: the CEO of Goldman Sachs taking $100 million in bonuses and thumbing his nose at Obama in doing so. Other reports this week are confirming the sleight-of-hand and shadiness surrounding the TARP bailout of the banks: Specifically, that TARP money handed out by Paulson was not recorded, let alone accounted for or monitored; and therefore it cannot be traced or even determined whether it went to benefit American corporations, let alone Americans, and not foreign corporations or even private interests or parties. With these recent developments coming to light, along with the tea-baggers and Republicans continued blaming of Obama for everything from being born, daring to take the oath of office with unpresidential skin pigmentation, to daring to reverse the direction of the country from the cliff that Bush had so clearly left us heading for, it seems it's time to revisit those days of yore, those nostalgic last glimmerings of a time when we had a gover
