POPSKatie Couric’s Curveballs and Softballs Katie Couric won a journalism award recently, which blew me away until I realized who gave the award. The Norman Lear Center at USC, a left-wing funded org rooted deeply in Hollywood’s liberal psyche. She was ‘awarded’ for her hard-hitting questions to Alaska governor Sarah Palin during last years presidential election campaign. But where was she democratic VP candidate Joe Biden flubbed on his knowledge of US history? Granted this award does not carry the recognition and prestige of a Pulitzer, Chancellor Award or a DuPont Award, but to give such a lack luster, talking head and television faceplate like Katie Couric an ego boost by telling her she’s doing an award winning job of news reporting is simply setting her up for a fall. I mean seriously, Katie Couric won an award for reporting excellence?! The standards for journalism have truly fallen to new depths.

POPSExperienced Pilots Discuss 9/11, Refute Official Story Interview with John Lear, son of Lear Jet founder, who flew CIA missions: "no Arab hijacker, ever, in a million years flew into the World Trade Center....not on the first try....certainly not at 5 or 600 mph...it would be an amazing fete of airmanship". Beginning at the 6:55 min mark he tells his view of 9/11 as "a scam" from the view of experienced pilots, who also tried on simulator to "hit" the Twin Towers. The interview goes in and out of 9/11 discussion after diverting to various other subjects. They discuss the NTSB flight record analysis (pictured) allegedly recovered but which has a very major discrepancy in the altimeter setting. He also discusses former covert ops flying for CIA, and Israel and Mossad are mentioned as well, which is also interesting to hear what goes on that US citizens never hear about, including drug running.

POPSConceptual Thinking versus Metaphor I too think that, useful as it is, syntax-locked rational discourse is but a pale ghostly existence contrasted with the vital richness of metaphor and image-ination.

POPSCoast to Coast AM Interview - John Lear: UFO Secrets Revealed
In his first interview with George Noory, retired airline pilot John Lear spoke on a variety of topics which included his experiences as a pilot, NASA's secret space missions, and life on other planets. A fourth astronaut died in the Apollo 1 fire of 1967 but the reason it wasn't made public was because he belonged to the "secret astronaut corps,".. This secret program started going to the moon in 1962 and landed on Mars in 1966, apparently using covert anti-gravity technology. Publicized space missions such as the Shuttle are actually a cover-up for what is really going on, added Lear. Also kept from the public, is the fact that there is life similar to ours on most of the planets in our solar system, he declared. For instance, Mars has a population of 660 million (mostly underground) and Venus is actually "green and beautiful." Further, the sky is blue on both Mars and our Moon, Lear said. Earth, he asserted, is a "farm for harvesting souls," and when people die their souls trave

POPSMoon Secrets Revealed : John Lear & Richard Hoagland
Coast to Coast AM Interview with George Noory http://www.thelivingmoon.com/43ancients/04images/Moon7/Full_Moon/Moon_Mosaic_80_lrg.png Former aviation pilot John Lear returned for a discussion about photographic evidence for cities and mining operations on the moon. He said that mining operations for such substances as helium-3 have been going on for years, and that antigravity ships, secretly launched from Antarctica, arrive at the moon in only one hour's time. He cited a poster known as "sleeper" (blog) at the abovetopsecret.com forum as one of the sources for his information. Lear also argued that the moon was towed into its current orbit by a huge electromagnetic vehicle, and that vehicle can be seen in a photo taken of the moon crater Tsiolkovsky. He also believes that the moon contains a breathable atmosphere, as evidenced by photos showing smoke or vapor coming from the surface. Joining the conversation during the third hour, Richard C. Hoagland concurred with Lear t
