Republican Rallies Now Sound like the KKK
citizenbfk
by citizenbfk  10-8-2008    13
The clip from the New York Times reports someone at a Palin rally urging killing Barrack Obama, others calling Obama a 'traitor," -- Palin associating him with domestic terrorist...and an Afro-American TV reporter being hassled by the crowd. If we let these Republicans win again these are the types of people we'd be continuing to let rule and mislead our country. I urge their defeat not just in the elections next month, but the elections after that and the election after that until their party is driven into extinction. This will not only help our country but "send the message," that you shouldn't mislead and lie a nation into war, you can't commit war crimes, you can't shred the Constitution, you can't destroy our economy and give away money to the banks while people life savings are stolen. KKK America in power again? Not on my watch. Not while I still have breath. And I hope, sincerely hope, you feel the same. Vote Obama. Defeat Republicans.

USA ground troops attack in Pakistan village?
citizenbfk
by citizenbfk  9-3-2008    3
Sad. Tragic. Annoying. No. #1) The use of the term: "Afghan coalition forces." Other stories say: "NATO forces." In reality, if this was done it was done by USA troops but like in Iraq they say "Coalition Forces," when there is no real coalition: There are approx 158,000 USA troops, 140,000 USA paid mercenaries and 'private security contractors,' 3 troops from Latvia, 11 soldiers from Moldova, , 37 fine men from the Ukraine, 40 soldiers from Estonia, 70 fighting Albanians, etc. -- all of them pressured or bribed to participate except for Merry Old England with 5,500 approx. troops, loyal Australia with 900 -- (& 2,000 Georgians now gone). Some "coalition." No. #2) Who is this soldier? Since he appears to have a M-16 is he American? Where are his identifying patches? Why face hidden? Thus, in fact, thus, he's an 'unlawful enemy combatant." This is a sad and tragic photo for a U.S. fighting man. Looks like the KKK

Ringing in Sunday booze sales
finifinito
by finifinito  8-24-2008
When I ran my one campaign for public office in 2000, I ran on the Libertarian Party ticket for Indiana House District 100 on a platform of repealing the Sunday Blue Laws regulating the sale of alcohol and vehicles on Sunday. 8 years later a group has formed to lobby for this much needed change in our laws in Indiana.

This Day in History-July 21 'Infamous Monkey Trial'
righthand
by righthand  7-21-2008    3
"To show up fundamentalism,""to prevent bigots and ignoramuses from controlling the educational system of the United States." said Darrow. So what has changed after 80 years of intellectual backwardness?! Would this case be out of place in Bush's America - in the land of the 'free and home of the brave', mired in debt and death of its own making? Where now is the shinning beacon of liberty? What country has made 'democracy' a dirty word. What county elects an AWOL drunk as commander-in-chief, TWICE? Where is the KKK a white sheet away from power and the noose? What country is still loved even by it pseudo enemies?

Group Claims MLK Was GOP
Wisco
by Wisco  7-5-2008    1
The article goes on: In "The Autobiography of Martin Luther King, Jr.," which was published after his death from his written material and records, King called the Republican national convention that nominated Goldwater a "frenzied wedding ... of the KKK and the radical right." "The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism," King said in the book. Doesn't sound very Republican to me.

Limbaugh tops his own bigotry with this one.
thinkingblue
by thinkingblue  6-18-2008    20
It's hard to believe what can come out of the mouth (butt) of Rush Limbaugh but his latest tirade is beyond belief, beyond disgusting, beyond loathsome. Yes it's very hard to believe this mindless little man could stoop so low as to praise the flood victims in Iowa, Illinois who happen to be mostly white and at the same time, condemn the Katrina victims with the same old rhetoric, innuendos and outright bigotry that the KKK type people carry in their bags of hateful garbage. Those poor hurrican victims, who happen to be mostly of color are responsible in the intolerant brain cells of Rush, for their fate. I know beyond the pale, is too weak a phrase for this criticism from a genuine butt-hole. The only bewilderment I feel of such a creep sputtering into a microphone that goes out over the airwaves is, WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE LISTEN TO HIS SHIT AND STILL THINK OF HIM AS A CREDIBLE BEARER OF THE TRUTH? :-? http://thinkingblue.blogspot.com

I would have loved to have been there to witness this first hand. Hate groups (an estimated 888 this year; a growth of 48% since 2000) evidently can't respond to ridicule and clowns! Their entire existence is predicated by feeding on fear and ignorance. Derision, laughter, and mockery seem perfectly well suited to deal with such people and bypasses the anger and hatred that fuels them. Brilliant!

We always hear statements like, “If we don’t watch out, things that are happening in Europe and Canada will come to our shores.” Well, it’s already here. We are already losing our liberty despite the First Amendment. THIS is exactly why legislation like ENDA and the “hate crimes” bill need to be opposed and are so obviously a threat to our fundamental rights. Where was the ACLU on this one you may ask? Word has it that an ACLU-affiliated attorney represented the “offended” lesbians. “Foremost defender of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights“….yeah right.

That's right, the death toll: nearly fifteen hundred African Americans a day. The shocking truth of black genocide." "Right now our own government is allowing organizations like Planned Parenthood to legally take the innocent lives of precious baby girls and baby boys and even footing the bill for it all with our tax dollars, turning every single one of us into accessories to murder," "You know who their biggest fans must be, that must be the KKK, because the woman who founded this organization detested black people.... "Hillary haters," and now/today - hostage taking terrorist
citizenbfk
by citizenbfk  11-30-2007
This 'Hillary Haters," article is two days old. The hostage taking of campaign workers at her New Hampshire Presidential Campaign HQ is two hours ago. What to say? One thing to note is that warmongers, fascist, most Republicans, zionist, neo-cons, nazi's, KKK folks, etc. --- people with hate in their hearts -- are not nice. They don't play by the rules. They can be mean, ruthless, violent and destructive. Thus it's always difficult for "nice people," people who like the idea of developing alternative energy rather than killing over oil, or people who don't like USA torturing, believe in habius corpus rights, feels bad about helping the slow starvation and collective punishments of Gaza, etc....well, it's tought. "nice people," have to be as tough as "bad people." That sort of sucks but it's living in dreamland not to realize it. Obama life has been threatened. Now Hillary's headquarters attacked. We need to elect better leaders. http://www.americancitizenstogether.org

The Black KKK? (re: Taylor's death a grim reminder for us all)
TheCatWhisperer
by TheCatWhisperer  11-29-2007    1
Ok.. it was really hard to clip this article, so please go read it for yourselves & come back and comment. Also, keep in mind this was written by Jason Whitlock, an African American columnist for the Kansas City Star. I say that because when I read it, i was all like: "If a white-dude wrote this, he's dead". Which tells you exactly what kind of world we live in. I completely agree with Whitlock, society and the culture around hip-hop has a lot to do (IMO) with how our kids, see the world. Music, movies, Games glorify violence, illegal activity, etc. IMO its a form of abuse. Now, I'm a full proponent of free speech, and I don't think pretty much anything should be censored from the public, what I do think is that our parents, our educators, or communities have to do more to raise kids to know the difference between fantasy, and reality. We also have to put more effort into helping those who don't necessarily have the means to "rise above".

Statistics Only the KKK Could Love

Where are the leaders of the black community on the issue that almost half of the babies conceived by blacks are aborted? Do they want their community to disappear? Or are they so wedded to the Party of Abortion that they dare not speak out? If the statistics showed that white people were killing half of all black babies, wouldn't there be an outcry?

Fighting on the Side of Beauty
Perwana786
by Perwana786  10-5-2007    2
The world needs more Kamil Nasirs. May God be well pleased with his soul. There are those who unjustly label innocent human beings as "terrorist" in the presise manner KKK members use the "N" word to dehumanise and jusify robbing human beings of their lives. It is the sum of our actions which reveal or betray who we are. Murderers are not heroes. Neither does calling a human being a "terrorist", a racial slur, or a "witch" make them guilty of anything. Just as burning Bruno at the stake didn't make him guilty of anything, though his persecutors became guilty murderers. Those who love the humanity and those who persecute are not alike. Persecution, dehumanising, robbing others of their lives... who after all, is commiting terror? The essence of persecution is transferance. That dynamic speaks volumes upon persecutors. But never those upon whom they attack. The irony is, virtue is always persecuted, never persecuting. This irony is lost upon attackers, too blinded by hate.
