POPSRacial Simmer It's not talked about (except Carter's comment). But it needs to be. Bring it out in the open and shout it from the mountaintops. Racism is alive and well, albeit below the surface for the most part. But it is acting like the driving force. The hidden engine, if you will, of the hate and shouting emanating from the Right these days. The message from these KKK wannabees is clear. The President is not one of us. He is to be feared. He's not fit for the job. It has nothing to do with facts. The people protesting, for the most part, are angry because a black man is their leader and they just can't wrap their small minds around that. The continuance of this hate and bigotry makes me profoundly sad and worried for our country.

POPS...and it's called PROJECTION.
What they are attributing to you, is exactly what THEY are doing. It's a devious and intensely irksome tactic and they are very good at it. You see it on MessNBC, from our top Democrats in Congress and from the President. They do it with hubristic, arrogant cock-sureness and they brazenly lie with a sense of intellectual security because they think nobody is as smart as they are. They've stolen the language by getting to it first, describing every element of their own actions, and blaming YOU for them. They don't have to go far to access the information. It is within their own hearts and minds. It is there to be witnessed in their behavior. It is denied and attributed to you. This way you are left to find an intelligent way of saying, "No I didn't. But you just did that", so they can repulsively scoff at you in their disgust. Be quick in calling them out. The latest studies on brain activity relating to political leanings is the kind of weaponry they are using. Study it. Search for the

POPSAmerican Right-Wing a Bit Confused? This story was picked out of the International edition of the Jerusalem Post. It was spray panted and not burned - as per usual with folks in Georgia who used to use burning crosses. I guess they are not really that confused - the KKK always did have more in common with nazi's than anyone else. The most recent trend among righties is to use nazi language to attack those they think are marxists and reverse racists. I take it back - they are still confusing. One easy thing to understand is that they are hateful and driven by fear and hate of what they see in the mirror in the morning.

POPSDemocrat White Guys’ Club Do you ever wonder if the reason liberals think everyone who opposes Obama must be a racist is because they are racists who never see anything about people other than their race?

POPSBlack Officers Sue Philadelphia PD for Domelights.com Racism Think and say as you wish, but don't pretend that those same thoughts and words don't effect how you treat people when on the job. domelights.com has suspended all services. I just watched the news clip on fox's website. It says that the lawsuit states that this speech isnt protected by the First Ammendment. If thats so scumbags like the KKK, black Panthers, Aryan Nation, Michael Crook,MSNBC (sorry. Couldnt resist!) etc. would have never existed. How is what we say here NOT protected? And if for some unknown reason the GCL wins, who gets the money? Does every black cop in the PPD get a cut of that? All this does is get the GCL more free publicity from the worthless media in this city Legal analysis of the case at Litigation and Trial , a Philly attorney's blog.

POPSTime To Move On I’ll give a shout out here to one of our favorites, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, but I’m not giving him any more mention than this one sentence. The Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964, the House of Representatives apology for slavery was passed 2008, and the Senate apology for slavery was passed last week. Isn’t it about time to move on?

POPSClowns pwn Nazi/KKK rally - Awesome! Truly brilliant. "Alex Linder the founder of VNN and the lead organizer of the rally kicked off events by rushing the clowns in a fit of rage, and was promptly arrested by 4 Knoxville police officers who dropped him to the ground when he resisted and dragged him off past the red shiny shoes of the clowns. http://www.volunteertv.com/home/headlines/7704982.html"

POPSNeo-Nazis are in the Army now
Army regulations prohibit soldiers from participating in racist groups, and recruiters are instructed to keep an eye out for suspicious tattoos. Before signing on the dotted line, enlistees are required to explain any tattoos. At a Tampa recruitment office, though, Fogarty sailed right through the signup process. "They just told me to write an explanation of each tattoo, and I made up some stuff, and that was that," he says. Soon he was posted to Fort Stewart in Georgia, where he became part of the 3rd Infantry Division. In 2003, Fogarty was sent to Iraq. For two years he served in the military police, escorting officers, including generals, around the hostile country. He says he was granted top-secret clearance and access to battle plans. Fogarty speaks with regret that he "never had any kill counts." But he says his time in Iraq increased his racist resolve. "I hate Arabs more than anybody, for the simple fact I've served over there and seen how they live," he tells me. "They'r

POPSGhosts of Democrat Presidents Past Here's the wrap: Clinton did take a stab at redemption, shooting a missile at an aspirin factory—oh, and at an intern named Monica Lewinsky. One missile missed its mark. Thankfully George W. Bush stepped in and re-established America's position on "Don't Mess with Texas," by kicking some Iraqi tail. Bush also told the world that the US is not beholden to anybody when it comes to our sovereignty and protecting our citizens. With all the potential world hot spots looming, is there any sane person who believes Obama to be the right man for the job? I know he was recently battle-tested in Somali with that confrontation...with the four Somali pirates.

POPSA Funny Thing Happened on the Road to Serfdom “…in the spring of 1972, at Tulane University…students asked Alinsky to help plan a protest of a scheduled speech by George H. W. Bush, then U.S. representative to the United Nations - a speech likely to include a defense of the Nixon administration’s Vietnam War policies. The students told Alinsky they were thinking about picketing or disrupting Bush’s address. That’s the wrong approach, he rejoined, not very creative - and besides causing a disruption might get them thrown out of school. He told them, instead, to go to hear the speech dressed as members of the Ku Klux Klan, and whenever Bush said something in defense of the Vietnam War, they should cheer and wave placards reading, ‘The KKK supports Bush.’ And that is what they did, with very successful, attention-getting results.”
